*renee pov*

i was kind of sad to leave my babies, but i had some time off and wanted to get away from the stress of daily life for a bit. also, i trusted jas and ant. pippa and i had decided that they needed practice for future baby ramos and jasmine already volunteered to watch them at our schuyler sister sleepover.

"is everything packed?" i asked my husband alexis.

he nodded, "clothes for at least a week, brielle's bunny, and benjamin's trucks."

"okay. we'll bring them to jazzy and anthony's apartment before we go to the airport. i'll corral the children."

"and i'll start the car."

we headed our separate ways and were set to go in just under five minutes. on our way i explained to them again what was happening and they were very excited to go have a playdate with my friends for a week.

when we arrived at their apartment the kids grabbed their toy bags and alexis and i grabbed their clothes bags. we knocked on the door which was immediately opened and we were met with two smiling faces.

"welcome!" jas exclaimed. "come on in!"

i pulled them both into a hug and said, "thank you so much again for watching them this week."

"oh it's no problem! i was hoping to get some more practice with kids," anthony said winking at jasmine.

i heard my husband laugh behind me, "enjoy being young cuz it doesn't last long."

we got everything sorted out with our kids schedules and left for the airport agreeing to facetime every night before they went to bed.

*jasmine pov*

i was so excited to watch renee's kids for the week it was going to be a blast.

they came on saturday and we set them up in the guest bedroom. their clothes were unpacked and put into the dresser and anthony brought their toys into the living area.

"hey benjamin?" anthony called. "want to come show me your toys?"

the 6-year-old shyly nodded and sat down on the floor with anthony. i was sitting on the couch with 1-year-old brielle who was just adorable.

the day was going wonderfully until it was bedtime. benjamin couldn't fall asleep and brielle kept crying. although, true to her word, renee called us around 9 when they were settled in their hotel.

"how are my babies?" she asked.

brielle squealed and benjamin smiled, "good momma! is it hot?"

alexis popped his head in to respond, "its very hot down here in florida buddy."

"can you sing us a song mommy?" benjamin asked.

"well," renee started. "jasmine and anthony are very good singers. can they sing for you?" her son nodded. "okay i'll hang up so they can sing. make sure brielle has her bunny. love you!"

everyone blew kisses and i hung up.

"what song do you want us to sing for you?" ant asked walking over to brielle and giving her the bunny.

"hmm," he thought. "something from your show?"

i turned to anthony and he smirked at me before mouthing helpless and standing up. 'i guess we're acting this out,' i thought.

i started singing my "ooo's" and we kept going from there. anthony spun me around the room as we danced and pretended to get married. when we finished i looked over at the bed and saw both kids peacefully asleep. i smiled and we left the room.

*sunday*

the day passed uneventfully. we watched some disney junior, played with benjamin's trains, and had fun.

*monday*

we went to the park by our apartment and had a picnic together under the sun. anthony playing with the kids and chasing them around warmed my heart. once it was dinner time, no one wanted to go home but we had to anyways.

*tuesday*

today anthony and i made cupcakes with benjamin while brielle napped. decorating them was by far the most fun and messiest part of the process.

*wednesday*

it rained, so i popped some popcorn and we had a disney movie marathon with the kids.

*thursday*

we went out after lunch to a milkshake place. i got mint chocolate chip, anthony got cookies and cream, benjamin got black and white, and brielle had a bottle of formula.

*friday*

lin texted anthony and i:

do you still have renee's kids?

ant:

yeah we bring them back tommorow

jazzy jones:

why?

linnamon roll:

i was wondering if you wanted to bring them over to play with seb while vanessa is at work?

ant:

sounds good!

linnamon roll:

see ya later

so, we got the kids dressed and fed them lunch before heading over to lin's. in the taxi i tweeted the fans.

when we got there benjamin and sebastian immediately hit it off. they played with trains and watched some chuggington. brielle loved making faces with lin. after a bit, i put her down on the floor with the boys.

"wow you guys are doing very well with the kids. i have to admit i'm impressed," lin said.

anthony chuckled, "i love having kids around the house. i mean, jas is so good with them and i am now too. i think we might think more seriously about having kids."

"i definitely think we could have a kid, but we're both very busy people," i told him.

lin looked at the both of us and said, "you two should wait a little while. you're both in an almost broadway show! in a few years when you two are married and your lives start to slow down a kid would be a great addition to your family."

we both nodded and continued talking until we had to go home.

*saturday*

renee and alexis came to pick up the kids today and even though they were only here for a week our house felt like something was missing. i brought this up to anthony and he agreed, so we discussed it and came to a conclusion.

first, we went to the store to buy the things we'll need. then, we made our way to the adoption center.

"excuse me miss?" anthony asked the lady up front. "can you please point us in the direction of the dogs?"

she nodded and showed us. we must've played with at least a dozen puppies before we played with a white french bulldog.

"anthony i love this one!" i squealed as she licked my face.

he smiled at me holding her, "our new baby girl."

we adopted our first kid! a cute, little puppy who we named nala. at home we set up her bed on our room, bowls in the kitchen, and toys in the living room.

anthony and i were starting a family- even if it was only the two of us and our dog. it was our life together and it was wonderful.

i had this idea a while ago (it was mentioned in the chapter moving in) and i was so excited to finally write it! i don't really know where it came from but here we are.

also, i wasn't planning on them getting nala in this chapter, but it just kinda happened and it was cute so. i know they didn't get nala this early but it's fanfiction.
