The Pit
When Celeste, a petty thief gets arrested for stealing the princess's necklace she ends up in the pit. The pit is the kingdom's criminal justice system. The only ways prisoners can escape the pit is through death or if they win the annual competition. Every year prisoners are chosen randomly to compete in a series of fights also known as challenges, the losers die, and the winners move on to the next round. At the end of the competition, the winner gains their freedom. Most prisoners don't get picked to compete in the annual challenges their first year, but when Celeste does she can't imagine that she'll survive the first round. With the help of an unlikely ally will she be able to survive the challenges and return home or will she die trying?…
