Uhtred agreed after a moment's thought and so it came to pass that Arnora and the boys were soon close friends! They rode to Aylesbury to speak with King Edward! His sister Æthelflæd and her daughter Ælfwynn were no longer safe there and Uhtred wanted to make sure nothing happened to them outside Aylesbury!But King Edward would not be bothered...not until one day Winchester fell into Danish hands and King Edward was forced to fight side by side with Uhtred Ragnarsson and his sister Æthelflæd! There Arnora met Sigtryggr Ivarsson!
