"I sit here writing this in my journal wondering what happened to that excited little girl so many many years ago. The girl was willing to do anything to touch the stars. When I look up at the sparkling night sky from the astronomy tower, the stars seem farther. I can no longer reach my hands up and grab them as I had dreamed before.
