Butterflies are believed to have different meanings that connect to human lives. When youth start running and face struggles along the way, they're beginning to catch their own butterfly._____Three months before the most anticipated ceremony of every student, Aria discovers that she is going to die at the same time as her graduation. On the rooftop of the hospital where she clears her mind, Zoran, a boy in her class who his family forces to be good at everything, tries to stop her, thinking she will take her life early. The two loners, each for a different reason-her because no one wants to talk to her and an outcast, and him because he doesn't want to talk to anyone but popular-are formed to make an animation about themselves as their final project together with the four other loners in their class: Dan, a rebel who has an unclear life path; Mindy, a know-it-all who's struggling with money; Gideon, a timid boy who killed his dream; and Jina, a bubbly girl who hides something. Together, they run as they face their own struggles.
