"Love is the most twisted curse of all."Her death was sudden. The sudden absence of her was left a hole in my heart that could not be filled. I lost someone I loved someone who I never got to live my life with, someone I never even had the chance to. It's unfair, why does the world have to take everything I love and discard of it like trash? I have been visiting her grave for many days now, days turned weeks, weeks turned to months, at this point I have lost track. Some days I visit twice, some I don't at all. Maybe it is better if I don't, let her soul rest. But I can't bring myself to do it, I might forget her, I was afraid. Afraid of losing someone I had already lost.Who knew such a loving and comforting presence would turn into a cold and cynical one.Note - You can stop reading after 'Grievance', as by itself it stands as a story. David Moore, A US soldier who is known amongst the ranks as simply, "Moore". He's just a soldier who recently was sent to Vietnam, and he is scared, the things he sees are beyond him. He is just on his third mission when something terrible happens. He is stranded, and he finds himself in a strange situation. Aera Tehiro, a Filipino girl who lives in Vietnam, and happens to be under North Vietnamese control, she lives near the border between the North and the South making her life pretty much a living hell, but she's used to it. She lives her life nonchalantly until she meets someone. For the better? Maybe, probably. There probably will be a lot of violence and stuff, since it's the Vietnam War.Also, POV changes will be marked, chapters will be entirely in one characters POV.
