The Romans tried to make the whole world a part of their Empire. The Portuguese stole land from their fellow Europeans by ignoring a treaty they formed. What I'm trying to say is, when a country becomes the big bad of the season, they try to take over the world. It doesn't matter, what matters is that Dalia only wanted to spend a normal vacation with her family while watching the Olympic Games in France. She didn't want to be captured by English terrorists. She certainly didn't want to be taken on one of those Slaveships that seems to be making a comeback. And she definitely didn't want to be forced to work in a sweatshop while only having the memories of her loved ones to keep her going.
