Lost in the woods after her parents died on a camping trip, 5 year old Bella wonders through looking for food and shelter. After a few short days of searching, she meets Esme who takes Bella to her house to care for her. Not fond of the idea, the others try and convince Esme to bring Bella to an orphanage or somewhere other than there.
