Blaise Vesuvius was everything that society despised. Isolated since an early age, she was used to betrayal, she was used to being alone. After two cops-in-training, try to assassinate her directly linked to her abilities, which she knew not up until that point, she disappears for six months. The six month hiatus is halted when the body of Drew Cooper was found by Agent Nero Loch. The murder, at first glance, looks like an open and shut case, the killer douses their victims in gasoline before igniting them, however as Nero looks deeper into the case, he discovers more than he bargains for. What happens when Nero pursues the theory that Blaise Vesuvius survived the attempt on her life? What becomes of his affection towards her?
