"Please don't leave.." Mr. Daughtler corners me against the wall, we stand in his living room. Our faces close together, I stare into his eyes and swallow hard; nervous about what is about to come. "...what are you doing?" I ask, he slowly rests his hand on my cheek. "You're one of my favorite students...you know that right?" Mr. Daughtler says. I look at him, unsure of how to respond. The school year just started, so how does he have a favorite already? "Um..." I smile, watching him lean in for a kiss. However, I immediately turn my head "I can't" "But, don't you want to?"
