The third story in this series. In May of 1967, a rash of unusual murders begin. Can Sgt. Joe Friday and Officer Bill Gannon find the suspect before they strike again? The following story you are about to read has a subject matter that was never discussed in Dragnet be it radio (1949-1957), the first TV series (1951-1959) and the revival series (1967-1970). However, this ordeal still occurred throughout the U.S. and overseas. You are about to read one such story that could have happened to anyone. Along with the controversial subject matter throughout this story, the reader is being fairly warned of strong language, mild violence, adult themes, and sexual situations that may occur within the following pages. Follow John-Boy Walton with his trials and tribulations in early 1940s New York City and Waltons Mountain. See what happens as WWII draws near.IntroductionI first began writing A Walton's Story in 2005. The idea for it came to me after viewing the sixth season episode entitled The Revelation. I wanted readers to see what John-Boy's life in early 1940s New York City was like. The Waltons series only gave us a glimpse, but from that one episode, an entirely new yarn was woven. I guess you could call this a "what if" type of fan fiction story. In The Revelation, John-Boy nearly marries Daisy Garner. In this fan fiction story, events and circumstances are a little different. As you read each chapter, other members of the Walton family will appear and perhaps an unexpected visitor or two. I hope you will enjoy A Waltons Story as I had a great time writing it.…

Archie Bunker Vignettes

Archie Bunker Vignettes

I first wrote the following vignettes in 2003 and recently discovered them buried in the caverns of my computer. So, I dusted them off, polished them up, and decided to share them with you on my website. Every vignette presented here is a Depression-era/Pre World War II story that was told either by characters' Archie or Edith Bunker throughout the1970's All in the Family TV series. Since these events took place during another time in U.S. history, the language, people, places, and actions are as authentic to the 1930s and 1940s as I could create them without officially being there.…

While working at Archie Bunker's Place, Mandy Mason hears of John Lennon's death. Soon, she has to make a difficult decision that may cause her to lose her job. Author's Note: In 2003, I decided to write an All in the Family/Archie Bunker's Place fan fiction story that surrounded the death of John Lennon. I created a fictional character for this story, Mandy, since there wasn't a character who was a Beatles/Lennon fan on the show. For those of you who are familiar with ABP, you'll notice as you're reading that some of the regular characters are missing. I did not include them because at the time I wrote this, I was not too familiar with ABP (as I am now). I hope you enjoy the story, I had fun writing it. Happy reading! Disclaimer: All publicly recognized characters, settings, etc. are the property of Embassy Television, Norman Lear/Tandem Productions, The O'Connor-Becker Company, and UGO Productions. The original characters and plot are the property of the author. I, in no way am associated with the owners, creators, or producers of Archie Bunker's Place. No copyright infringement is intended.…
