Marelyn has turned eighteen and so has the crown prince, that can only mean one thing. It is time for the picking, the day that Marelyn has feared once she found out what it meant. The crown prince chooses five women. In the days that follow, there will be a masquerade. No one knows what happens during the four night long masquerade, except for the people who were there, but they are sworn to secrecy. The only thing that the people of Marelyn's village know, is that five women go and only one returns. The rest are basically as good as dead.This story will have multiple parts, all of diffirent lengths. I don't really write long stories, so don't expect too much. I also want to give you a heads up in advance, English is not my first language, so please excuse mme of any errors in the story and to give me tips on how I make the story better!
