If you're a big enough a Star Trek nerd to have read the books, I hope you agree that Traitor Winds by L.A. Graf was amazing. However. I also found the ending to be extremely depressing. While it was written beautifully, and I was sort of thankful that he killed the perfect-everyone-happy cliche, I couldn't help but kind of want it that way anyhow. Soooooooo, that brings me to writing my own ending. It won't be as masterful or true as Graf's, but I hope those of you that wanted to see Chekov get into Command School and a different wrap up for Kirk enjoy this.
