The Galra and Altean Galactic Empire (AGU) have been at war for centuries. The fighting bloody and brutal, leading to the deaths of many. A tentative peace treaty fifty years ago changed all that. The relations between the two peoples in the past half-century have been shaky at best, filled with distrust, finger-pointing, and civil unrest. The Altean people announced a plan to help this, Their crown Prince Lance would marry the highest ranking eligible Galra, Emperor Shirogane, to form an alliance that would better the relationships of the two empires.
