"He's gone?" A young woman leaned up against the one way glass looking into the medical ward. The long, bluey grey feathered wings attached to her shoulder blades were drooping so the wingtips dragged on the ground slightly. Her face was neutral, but her wings betrayed her sadness. "Yes. The memory alteration was a success. Lethe will resume a civilian life until farther notice." A tired looking man said next to her. "Until farther notice?" The woman asked, looking up at her colleague. "His natural regenerative capabilities may affect the memory alteration of early life in the INPA. It's possible he may yet recall early memories such as training or even rocky early missions. In which case he could become compromised all too easily." The man looked at her. "Zephyr, I know you and Lethe are close. I am sorry for your loss." He said solemnly before walking away.The woman, Zypher, sighed and leaned her head on the glass window after the man had left. She stood there for a long time, appearing to fight with herself the whole while. Eventually she straightened and lifted her hand, closing her eyes and concentrating. The blankets shifted around the only subject in the medical room, a young man. There was a bandage wrapped around his head and an IV in his arm. Once he was tucked in gently Zephyr moved her hand, shutting off the lights in the room. She opened her eyes when she was done and panted softly from the exertion of telekinesis.
