This is a rewrite of an old story I wrote, with more understanding of the song it's inspired by being "Good Luck, Babe!" by Chappell Roan. It takes place in the past around 1863. The two main characters Charlotte and Victoria have a star crossed lovers trope, Victoria, married to a man and Charlotte, in love with Victoria struggle to be in love from denial that Victoria goes through as Charlotte tries to help her figure out who she is.…
