The fame brings her fortune time and time again. But one thing still bothers her. Every other week victors are sent to Circle for a few days. When they return they don't know what happened. They were all, as Ella would say, snowmen short of a scarf. Ella is by far the smartest victor and therefore determined to figure out what happens on these trips. But that's not all she has on her plate. She's also receiving some insane hallucinations. And to top it off she receives a visit from the second place victor, Piper Youg. The Survival Games were organized by President Irwin. It was not to get back at the sectors. It was to kill children. President Irwin had a frosty heart but the frostiest part of all was where the children were. Each year she sent out a sector watcher to each of the 10 sectors, they each return with two children. The children train and then are sent of to some restricted island to fight to the death. Winning opens up so many doors and a chance to help the next children chosen it also means hallucinations.
