My mother, cousin, and I moved to this island surrounded by water. we stayed on the side where the people with not a lot of money stayed that side, it was called stony. The houses were made out of wood with splashes of white paint. The people with a lot of money stayed on the side called quids, the houses were brick and pretty. We didn't know much about this island. One day we were getting off the bus I asked who wanna play baseball since there was this boy that I had seen before playing with his friend and I also had a small crush on him. He and his friend said to me. When we got off the bus he and his friend were throwing the ball threw a hole in a tree. I couldn't play because it was late and my mother called me and my cousin inside. He asked me my name I told him Jade he wrote it on a table and the girls that was sitting at the table started to smile. Where do you stay I asked on the quids side the second house you see when you get there. Thanks, I said with a smile. My dad came and visited us he was always busy with work. He called my mom and asked where we were. She told him we was in the house. He said no I'm at the house now and no one stays here. What she asked confused. He told us to come outside so we did. And was walking on the sidewalk we were almost on the quids side she asked where are we going he said just keep walking. When we made it to the quid there was a lady that shot at us we screamed but she shot my cousin. We started to cry. My dad ran over to us as fast as possible. He told us we were supposed to stay on the quid side we smiled he always wanted to stay over there.
