This is a novel of "faction"; both an interpretation of my life's events and what caused them, carefully blended with fictional anecdote to dissect the black experience. Today, black millennials oft find themselves juxtaposed between the knowledge of their past and the reality that whatever their hope might be for their future, a system designed to keep them shackled, still, even in 2017 and beyond, counts them out.
