Khiry POV

After "forgetting" the rest of their team, The rider & I put them in the carriage.

Me: If the queen asked, I was only bringing Ren & Itsuki.

The Rider: Agree.

The both of us then entered the driver's seat of the cartridge. He then makes the horses go. A few minutes later on their travels, I started to remember the Divine & Demonic elements' conditions.

I then see the people's names that can see the empowerment status bar.

Naofumi: Wraith

Ren: Greed, Gluttony

Motoyasu: Lust, Envy

Itsuki: Pride

Kizuna: Sloth

Blaze: Patience

Me(Mind): So, I have to be next to them to gain some power. But the question is, who the hell is Kizuna?

I then climb into the carriage from the front seat & sit near the edge in the front with my back turned.

Me(Mind): I should try to wake them up from their sleep. Then again,

I then see Ren & his group start to wake up as Itsuki & his group do the same.

Me(Mind): Never mind.

Ren & his group see Itsuki & his group.

Itsuki: What happen?

Me: I brought you here.

They all turn to me.

Ren: You...

Itsuki: You were at the last wave. What are you doing?

I did not say a word but looked at Ren.

Me: I am ordered to take you guys somewhere.

Ren: Somewhere?

Itsuki: Where are you taking us?

Me: To meet with the Queen of Melormarc.

They were shocked to hear where they are going.

Me: Your questions will be answered by her. For now, you can wait until we get there.

Ren: Why?

Me: Because she is the true ruler of Melormarc.

No POV

After a few hours with no talking from the Assassin, the rider then see the location where they were at. Khiry then sees that there are shadows from the queen.

Khiry: It looks like we are here.

The rider then stopped as Khiry then turn to them.

Khiry: Try not to do any stupid.

Itsuki: Why would you tell us that?

Khiry: Because I don't want to waste a few medicine bottles on you when I dragged your bodies.

Ren: You wouldn't do that.

Khiry: I would. 

Khiry then got out first, followed by Ren & Itsuki, then their group as Khiry then lead them to the queen.

Khiry: Master, they are here.

Ren & Itsuki are surprised to see the Queen as she then turns towards Khiry.

Mirellia: Thank you, Assassin. You can go ahead & rest now.

Khiry: Yes, master.

Khiry then left the room as the Queen decided to talk with Ren & Itsuki. Khiry then went outside & sit on the tree branch. Khiry then looked at the sky, thinking about this...future.

Khiry: If the waves are over, how will our lives be after that? Would we go home? Highly doubt. But, I don't want to leave my team or my daughter behind in this world!

Khiry then went inside his room in the building as he then lay down & decided to take a nap. Khiry then dreams something surprising. He is sitting on a throne looking at a void. The throne then lighted up the room with two sides being different: The left side glowed with gates you can see from heaven, while the right side is inside of a castle with the demonic looking interior. On both sides are 7 caskets on them with a different labels. Khiry then wakes up, only to see that he is back in his room. He then sit up to see that dream felt too real. There is a knock on the door.

Mirellia: Khiry...?

Khiry: Yeah?

Mirellia then opens the door to see him on his bed. She then went to his bed & sit on it.

Mirellia: I would like to inform you that the Sword Hero & the Bow Hero is on their way to the church of the three heroes.

Khiry: I hope the Spear Hero--

Khiry then stopped himself, then facepalm.

Mirellia: Have faith in them.

Khiry: I am trying. So, is that what you want to talk about?

Mirellia: It is not. 

Khiry: Then, what is it?

Mirellia: I have a proposition for you.

Khiry: Proposition?

Mirellia: I would like for the Shield Hero to try & married Melty, but since she is too young, the leader of Siltvelt & I would like for you & Archer of Red to be engaged.

Khiry did not say anything but stared at his master while he is processing.

Khiry: Eh? Did you want me to marry Atalanta?

Mirellia: I am telling you this because I still want to be on good terms with them. 

Khiry: Master... are you sure about this?

Mirellia: Yes. Also, you will be accompanying me soon.

Khiry: Okay, then.

Khiry & Mirellia then heard wings flapping as they both saw Blaze in her phoenix form.

Khiry: They're here.

Khiry then went outside to see them & hug them.

Khiry: I'm glad you guys are alright.

Mordred: We wished the same thing. Motoyasu & Naofumi are fighting again.

Khiry: What?!

Astolfo: But then the Knights started to leave, so we left.

Khiry: The Pope might be coming out. If he has the weapon, it is over for them. Ren & Itsuki might be getting there. We need to hurry.

There was an attack over there. Khiry was surprised at the level of power.

Khiry: No...

Mirellia: I'm sorry... Assassin, your final mission, is to kill the pope.

Khiry: Yes, ma'am!

Khiry got on Blaze as she started to fly towards the attack fast as possible. 

Khiry: We need to find a way to weaken him! If his followers are sacrificing their mana for that weapon, their lives are at risk! Blaze, fly faster!

Blaze then flies faster.

Khiry: I need you guys to take out the followers!

The group: Yes!

Blaze then sees the hole with a bunch of people standing over it. Khiry then looked as well. He then jumps & uses air magic to fly toward the hole while the others fly. A magic orb launched into the air as it start to make a dome. Khiry makes it in without being detected.

Pope: Welcome to my Cathedral! This is your final destination.

Khiry then looked at the Pope & saw the same symbol that his master: Ruler.

Khiry: Ruler?

Naofumi & the others looked behind them to see Khiry.

Motoyasu: You...

Ren: You're here.

Khiry: Better late than never. Everyone! We have one mission: take down the Pope.

All five of them then face the Pope as Ren & Itsuki ready their attack.

Ren: Thunderbolt Slash!

Itsuki: Thunder Shot!

The two attacks were blocked by the Pope's shield. Khiry then pointed Thunder Feather & Echoing Origins at the Pope.

Khiry: Raisuiryūdan!

The Lightning water dragon then launches towards the Pope, but somehow, the attack was half towards the Pope's barrier.

Naofumi: Filo! Raphtalia!

The Pope then swings the replica sword as the lava & heat come.

Khiry: Ice Magic: Ice wall!

Khiry generate an ice wall to protect them as the attack was more than Khiry could handle.

Filo: High quick!

Filo quickly went to The Pope's barrier & as she kick the barrier & broke a piece off, causing Raphtalia to attack, but the Pope blocked it. The Pope then noticed something, the mana he is gathering had been cut off because Khiry's team knocked out every person.

Naofumi: Filo! One more time!

Filo: Okay!

Naofumi got on Filo.

Naofumi: Assassin!

Khiry: Yes!

Khiry then hopped on Filo as she then charged toward the Pope.

Naofumi: Attack me when we are near the Pope.

Khiry: Okay.

Khiry jumped first, then Naofumi as the timing is right. Khiry kicked the Wraith Shield, boosting the flame.

Naofumi: Eat this!

Naofumi launches a fireball at the Pope.

Khiry: Katon: Hōsenka no Jutsu!

Khiry spits a volley of small fireballs into the air, being controlled, & aims at the Pope. Even still, the Pope is still standing. He then dispelled the attack.

Naofumi: He can disspell that curse in an instant?

Pope: Curses are meaningless within this Cathedral. After all, this is hallowed ground, blessed by God.

The Pope then uses air magic to push back the two friends to the party.

Pope: Do you hear me, Bishop? Bishop? Don't tell me...

Naofumi: Khiry...

Khiry: My team took them out. 

Pope: I guess this leaves me with no choice.

Melty: This feels wrong... He's building up mana. If that light reaches all the way to the top...

Khiry; It is game over for us.

Motoyasu: Hey, can't your shield do something about it?

Naofumi then looked at his friend as he hold up his Shield at him, causing Khiry to look at him. What happened is Khiry's eyes has turn purple as he is stuck. A few seconds, a ring of fire under Khiry's feet then burst into a pillar of hell flames, destroying the top of the Cathedral. Even the Pope is shocked. The silhouette at the top came toward the Pope, spinning like a buzzsaw & landed behind him. The Pope then drop the weapon, then literally, he was split it in half, revealing the silhouette to a woman that waist-length crimson hair and two long horns on the sides of her head curling toward the center and then pointing straight upwards. She wears a long red flowing cape, a red bra, a red G-string, ornate red gauntlets, black gloves, ornate black thigh-high high-heeled boots covered by red pieces of armor with black and red metal ankle-wings on the sides of her boots. Her weapon is a huge red spear-axe hybrid that is even taller than her.
