"Ok, no! Just no!" Jungeun argued with her wife "this is fucking madness. You have to fucking stop Jinsoul!"

- Three Days Earlier -

"Choerry did you tell your moms about us going to Disney Land yet?" Hyeju asked

"What?" The other snapped out of her train of thoughts "oh yeah no. I still can't get them both in one room"

"Why? Are they fighting?" Asked Chaewon being the nosy bitch that she is

"No, they've just been really busy lately so I didn't want to bother them" She said looking a bit sad and looked down

Yeojin noticed the way Choerry acted when it came to the topic of her parents "Hey Choerry, how about i ask them with you?"

"That way there's a better chance for them to say yes"

"Sure"

Choerry smiled at her friends thoughtfulness. She would have just not ask Jungeun and Jinsoul about the trip and tell them that she wasn't allowed to

"Since my dear sister has announced her plans," Heejin said as she stood up from the ground "I would like to tell you all that i am going on a date with a specific person named Hyunjin"

"My sister never told me that she's going out" Hyeju said being clueless about what's going on

"Well maybe i left a few parts out like the asking her out part"

They all laughed except for Heejin who currently feels very attacked at the moment

"Here lemme help you so that she'll at least say yes to you" said Hyeju as she also stood up to bring out her wallet

"There's a cat cafe near the mall that we used to go to as kids. Buy a croissant on the way to our house and tell her that you're going there" she said as she gave a few stacks of bills to Heejin

"Is this your way of calling me poor?" Asked the other with an offended tone

"What? No. It's just really expensive there. Literally the only reason why Hyunjin doesn't go there everyday"

Choerry and Yeojin made it to their house. It looked more bland and lifeless compared to the last time Yeojin first saw it.

Choerry invited her in and surprise surprise, there was obviously no one home. "You should sit down. My parents aren't home so make yourself comfortable. I'm just gonna go get changed."

Yeojin looked around the Kim's house. There were awards and pictures of them looking like a very happy family. A part of a newspaper that has an article about Choerry winning a medal at such a young age is framed right on their wall.

Yeojin explored a bit more in to their kitchen. There she found very little food inside their refrigerator. "What do they fucking eat here?" Yeojin whispered to herself with a worried tone

"Mostly cereal and stuff." Choerry said out of nowhere making the other girl jump out of fear "well, ever since the whole incident happened a few days ago that is."

The taller girl walked towards Yeojin to get some milk "they don't have time to cook or take me to school. They always just give me money"

She poured both of them two glasses of milk "Sounds rough. Y'know, the same thing sorta happened with me and Heejin for a while" Yeojin said as she sat down on the couch with Choerry

"Really?" The other asked

"Yeah. My mom was having financial troubles and Heejin couldn't get a job since she was too young so we had to live with the cheapest cereal that was available"

"Although I still do think that it was more dog food than cereal" they both chuckled

Their conversation went on for hours and hours with no end. Neither of them even realized that the sun was no longer up. After a few laughs passed by, Choerry realizes something.

"They're still not home yet." She said, looking down at the ground  somehow feeling like all of this is her fault

Yeojin takes notice of this "Hey, they'll be home. I'm sure they will." She smiled

Choerry looked back up "You really think so?" She said with water filling her eyes

"Yeah. So why don't we watch some movies while we wait yeah?" Yeojin said in such a caring voice to the point where she wouldn't even be able to recognize herself.

They watched movies all night long. Eventually, both of them fell asleep while watching Princess Diaries.

The door opens. It was Jinsoul. It was 2:30 in the morning and she just got home. She sees the two girls sleeping on the couch and thought of this as such a sweet thing.

After a few minutes Jungeun came through the door. She saw Jinsoul in the kitchen eating cereal while looking like she was very invested on watching the movie.

Jinsoul takes notice that her wife is home and gestures her to stay quiet. She points to the couch where the two children are and Jungeun's heart warms because of what she's seeing.

"How long have they been there?" Jungeun asked "who knows? They were like that since i came" the other answered

"Heejin, where the hell is your sister?" Haseul asked her daughter

"I don't know, probably crawled back to hell" she said with her focus on her phone

Haseul sighed and went closer to her daughter only to slap her face with a news paper "I'm serious here Heejin"

"Geez mom didn't have to commit child abuse" Heejin said as she touches her cheeks to ease it from the pain "she's at Choerry's house. She probably just fell asleep there. Like, did you see how big their tv is?"

"Heejin, you're already 18. The only abuse i'll be doing in this house is mental." she grabs her bag and keys "go to the Kim's and take her home. I gotta go to work. Love you sweetie bye."

Haseul closes the door shut and Heejin hears her drive away from work

"I wake up to a beautiful morning, beautiful coffee and, beautiful text messages from a beautiful person. And everything is now ruined because of Yeojin" Heejin mumbles to herself as she complains about everything in her life

Before leaving their house, Heejin hears a knock on their door. She wondered who it may be since she isn't expecting any visitors.

Heejin opened the door and sees the only girl that she has had a crush on. Hyunjin.

"Oh Hyunjin," she says in shock

After their little so called date together, Heejin didn't really expect for Hyunjin to already be showing up her front door "I didn't expect you here"

"Yeah well, i'm here so" Hyunjin chuckled "so uhm I really had a great time with you yesterday and i was wondering if I could maybe spend some time with you today?" She asked shyly

Heejin was too stunned to speak. This was it. This is the moment that she's been waiting for. And the fact that she thought that this would be harder.

"Heejin? Are you okay?" The other asked, worried

"Oh yeah yeah i'm good" she snapped out of her still very confused state "So, you said you wanna hang out?"

"Yeah" Hyunjin chuckled because of Heejin's silliness "Great I'm heading over to Choerry's place to pick Yeojin up. You sure you wanna come?"

"Absolutely. C'mon i'll give you a ride"

"Alright cutie" Heejin blushed as she closes the door behind her

Yeojin wakes up with not a single clue on what's going on. She was where she last remembered, so that's good. The only difference is that Choerry wasn't beside her.

She sat up from the couch and saw Choerry in the kitchen. "I though you guys have nothing?"

Choerry looked back from what she was doing "oh you're awake" she said as she wipes her face "yeah i was just making McDonalds look more fancy by putting them in a plate"

Yeojin stood up from the couch over to the kitchen to enjoy her meal with Choerry .

"Still no parents?" She asked

"They came home last night. They didn't know that i was still awake." Choerry answered looking a little sad than before

The other looked down in empathy. They were silent for quite some time until Choerry spoke up again.

"Yeojin, i'm scared."

Yeojin looked up, worried about her friend. "What do you mean?"

"Usually they update each other about their day and stuff but last night, they barely talked." She sighed "what- what if they suddenly break up? I've never seen them this distant before"

"It's probably just a phase for them. They wouldn't be that great of a couple if they didn't have fights" Yeojin smiled

"We used to be happy!" Jungeun screamed at Jinsoul who was sitting in front of her

"WE WERE NEVER HAPPY JUNGEUN"

Silence filled the room.

"You have this little voice in your head that makes you think that we need to be seen as "The Perfect Family" by everyone who knows us" Jinsoul argued back

Both Choerry and Yeojin heard a knock on the door. "I'll get it" Choerry said and went to open the door

"Oh, Heejin. I didn't know you were coming" she took a little peek of who's behind her friend "and.. Hyunjin. Definitely didn't expect to see her with you"

"We're here for my sister. Please tell me that I didn't leave her at a random park somewhere" Heejin sarcastically said

"Don't worry, she's here. Come on in" she opened the door suggesting for the two to go inside

As they all gathered up in the kitchen Choerry whispered to Yeojin "Heads up, you owe me ten bucks"

"This isn't going to work." Jungeun said as tears flow down her face

"We can't just bail Jungeun. We have Choerry"

"DON'T YOU THINK I FUCKING CONSIDERED THAT?" She let out a burst of anger. This felt like rock bottom. "Right now, there is a child. Waiting for us to get home. Expecting her parents to go home with no problems at all"

Jungeun went closer to her wife "if this isn't gonna work for us, then i'm making it work for her" she lightly pushed Jinsoul on to a chair behind her "you better start coming home early if you don't wanna miss your child's college graduation"

"So where are you two going?" Yeojin asked her sister and her date

"I actually do not know. Hyunjin just showed up in front of the house when i was just about to leave" Heejin looked at Hyunjin, expecting an answer from her

"Well i was thinking if we could go to an archery range" Hyunjin answered

"Archery range? That sounds so expensive Hyun." Heejin doubted

"Trust me, it's not. Hyeju and i used to go there all the time with our parents. We ended up going there too often to the point where my mom just bought the place" she explained

"Well i'm definitely going." Heejin looked at her sister "you can go home by yourself. Choerry's responsible enough"

Once Heejin was about to leave out the door, Choerry spoke up "actually, I can't take her home. I reserved this day for a me day so... get out of my house. All of you"

Of course Choerry was kidding but she really did needed the me day. She still has to prepare her plan on how she'll get her parents in one room with a nice and clean conversation

Choerry sat there. Waiting for her parents to come home. Little did she know, that she's just waiting for a disaster to happen.
