4) Quotation

when adding quotations, be careful where you put punctuation. "What are you doing"? Isn't quite right. Try, "What are you doing?"
Or if a character is quoting someone else. "And she told me, "go jump off a cliff!" !"

That was a mess. Maybe try, "And she told me to go jump off a cliff!" Or "And she told me, 'Go jump off a cliff!'"

Do you notice the difference between using ' versus " when quoting within dialogue? Maybe you could use that.
