I first decided to draw this fishy boss lady a few days ago when I was in school, my headphones werent working so I went to drawing as my next method of keeping my occupied in lunch. I already drew Cagney and Specter so why not Cala Maria (pun of the octopus/squid dish of calamari, or if your head went to thinking of Callie and Marie from Splatoon then you're just a step ahead)

Cala Maria is the giant mermaid lady that you fight in the third area of the game....I believe Im remembering that right, and her second phase is that she turns into a gorgon (a lady with snake hair that turns people to stone by her gaze) I was going to draw Cala with little airplane Cup & Mugs, but because I couldn't find a good reference picture of them I just drew the second phase next to her instead which was a bit of a challenge because I had to flip the image I was referencing and it was hard to draw how her bottom hand is suppose to look like and the hair.

Speaking of hair...why is there a dead octopus on her head? Its really weird and makes a mind wonder
