MADE UP CHAPTER BE WARNED
__________________________

~Kyoya~

"My favorite restaurant? Give me a moment to think,"
You answered a table of guests who wanted to know you better.

After a few moments of chin scratching, you answered.
"There was this one place nearby where I lived. It was a [something] restaurant, and used to go whenever I was stressed or down,"

"It shut down a year or two ago though. There's another location, but it's way too far for me to justify going there,"
You continued.

Your guests swooned, feeling a mix of sadness at the fact your restaurant was gone, and sweetness at how fond it seemed to you.

Meanwhile, a certain host couldn't help but overhear your conversation.

~•~

'What the hell is so loud out there?!'
You wondered from inside your room.

It sounded like a helicopter was right outside your doorstep!

And it was.

As you peeked outside your window, you found a helicopter outside your home, a dark haired host sitting inside of it.

You stepped outside of your home, your hair blowing in the wind as the blades of the helicopter slowed down to a stop.

"Kyoya-senpai? What are you doing here? And what's with the helicopter?! And isn't this a residential zone? How are you-?!"

"Normally I like your inquisitive mind, but right now, I just need you to come inside the helicopter,"

He outstretched a hand, and after locking your door, you took his invitation, sitting inside and putting on the headphones he had for you.

As the helicopter rose off the ground, you held onto the host's arm for support, thinking it'd keep you stable for some reason.

A satisfied look spread on Kyoya's face. He knew that this would be a possibility when taking the helicopter, and he was glad his vision came to pass.

"Where are we going?!"
You spoke loudly as the helicopter blades roared.

"Your favorite restaurant,"
He replied.

"What?!"
You asked, unable to hear him.

"I said I'm-"
Kyoya stopped halfway, sighing before writing on some paper.

"Oh! You're really doing that for me?!"

Kyoya scribbled some more on the paper.

How about we talk after we land.

You gave him a thumbs up.

~•~

You arrived at your destination, and Kyoya helped you down from the Helicopter.

He looked the place up and down, and wasn't the most impressed with it. It wasn't really up to his standards, but the looks made sense for a place you could afford.

The two of you sat down at the table, the host trying to hide his cringing from the poor quality of the seats. He'd keep hiding his disdain as best as he could though, seeing that excited look on your face was more than enough compensation for that.

"It smells just like I remember!"
You said excitedly as you got your food.

He didn't order anything for himself, justifying it by telling you he'd eaten dinner beforehand. And while that was true, it was mainly because he didn't think he'd enjoy the food they served at the restaurant.

Still, you offered him some.

"Are you sure? It's really good,"
You insisted.

Well, if it'd make you stop asking.

You held the food out to him, and he took a bite, chewing for a lot longer than any non-rich person would.

"It's... passable,"

You cheered,
"I told you it was good! Never doubt me!"

He hummed in response, letting you relish your small victory.

There was a lot he let you get away with.

For some benign reason, he found himself actually finding joy in your happiness, something he didn't really have the biggest propensity for before.

But something about you made his normally hidden kind acts become more bold and obvious, starting to lean more towards grand gestures.

He grimaced. Was he turning into Tamaki?

He'd have to push that thought off though, right now you were trying to feed him more of your food, and he wasn't one to waste his resources.

~Hikaru~

"I gave you guys my phone number for a reason,"
You rolled your eyes as Hikaru stood at your doorstep.

"Surprises are always more fun,"
Hikaru excused, smiling at your unamused expression.

"Sure. I was just about to go for a walk. Wanna come with?"

Hikaru nodded silently, trying to look at the inside of your house as much as he could before you shut and locked your door.

"Where are we heading?"
He asked.

"The park,"
You responded, your breath coming out as soft clouds in the cold air.

Speaking of cold, currently the lone twin was silently wishing he'd worn more layers. To be honest, he was wishing he wore something with sleeves in the first place. His trusty dual-tank top combo wasn't working in his favor this time.

He didn't expect to be out in the cold for too long, he figured you wouldn't be doing anything, and thought you'd just let him in your house. But of course, you just had to be in the mood for a walk today.

So he did what he could to stay warm, matching your pace and sticking to your side, your ambient body heat providing him just enough warmth to keep him from freezing.

You finally made it to the park, sitting down on a bench with a satisfied sigh. The cold gray of autumn mixed with the bright red and orange leaves littering the ground was always a nice sight to see.

"Wow this is so amazing, totally something you can't see everyday. Can we go back now?"
Hikaru asked hurriedly, beginning to shiver.

You laughed in response, causing the host to scoff. How could you find joy in his suffering?! He totally wouldn't do the same to you!

A warmth suddenly enveloped his arms, and he felt like he was melting as you draped your jacket over his shoulders.

"Turns out rich people get cold too, huh?"
You joked.

He rolled his eyes, slipping his arms into the sleeves of your jacket. Did you always wear jackets this big? Either way, it was good for him, it was practically like wearing a blanket.

Still, he couldn't help but lean against you, finding comfort not just in the heat you provided.

It was funny. The only reason he was out here was because Kaoru said he 'needed to learn to be independent', but he just ended up clinging to you anyways.

Then again, it was more so that Kaoru just wanted them to be more independent from each other, so it still worked out.

Eventually the two of you got back to your house, and Hikaru settled down on your couch as you prepared him some hot tea.

You couldn't lie. Seeing him wearing your jacket that was much too big on him was kind of cute. But this was no time to think of such things!

You sat down next to him, and he leaned his head against your shoulder, letting out a long sigh as he sipped his hot drink.

"Kaoru says I need to be more independent, whatever that means,"

He grumbled, rolling his eyes.

After your extended silence, he scoffed.

"He has a point!"

You defended yourself, continuing.

Now his eyes were rolling for you, a slight pout on his face as he tried to figure out what insult to throw your way.

"I'm glad that you decided to spend your independent time with me though, Hikaru. I liked our solo hangout time before,"

The flames which fueled his insult engine immediately fizzled out hearing that from you, and combined with the earnest look in your eyes, all that residual heat made its way up to his cheeks in a pink haze.

"Are you blushing?!"

You asked with a wide grin.

"I'm not! Shut up!"

He struggled to push your face away from his as you tried to get a closer look at the blushing boy.

Was this what it was like to be annoyed by him and Kaoru? If it was, then Hikaru felt like the two of them might need to tone it down a little bit, because being on the receiving end was not that great.

But would he ever actually tone it down? Nope!

Right now though, he was seriously considering it.

~Kaoru~

[Kaoru]
Hey
This reminds me of you
*Photo of some animal*

[You]
It's like looking into the mirror
What are you doing right now

[Kaoru]
My mom is having a meeting right now
Hikaru stayed home

Traitor.

[You]
Sounds like he's the lucky one
What does your mom do?

[Kaoru]
Fashion designer
That's where I got my effortlessly amazing style from

[You]
Makes sense
Do you want me to call or do you wanna keep texting?

Kaoru thought for a moment before making his reply.

[Kaoru]
Keep texting
They might hear me
Or you
You're really loud sometimes

[You]
Thanks.

Kaoru giggled to himself reading your message, and waited eagerly for your next one.

[You]
This reminds me of you
*Photo of a rock*

A quiet snicker came out of the boy as he replied.

[Kaoru]
Somehow you managed to find a rock that looks sad

[You]
I know
Aren't I great

[Kaoru]
Debatable
Do you think rocks have feelings

[You]
Definitely
Every rock I touch immediately becomes happy
I'm a rock whisperer

[Kaoru]
You sound insane.

Can I be a rock whisperer too
I'm a rock whisperer now

[You]
Welcome to the club
It's a rough life
Hopefully you can handle it
If you're feeling overwhelmed
I can be your
ROCK

The lone twin found your joke slightly amusing, but he felt it would be funnier to pretend he didn't.

[Kaoru]
Wow.
That was hilarious.

He typed out, hoping you'd pick up on the sarcasm packed in the punctuation.

[You]
Thanks
My jokes are
ROCK solid

[Kaoru]
I walked into that one huh

[You]
Yeah
Do you wanna hang out sometime

Kaoru stared at your message wide-eyed.

He never expected you to ever be the one to initiate a hangout with him!

He debated the possible responses to your invitation. He could try to play it cool, really playing up the fact that you were the one asking him. But he could also joke about it being really out of his way to hangout with you, and maybe throw in some teasing too!

[You]
You don't have to if you don't want to

[Kaoru]
I WANT TO

He typed out, panicked. You couldn't be backing out that quickly!

[You]
Cool
How much longer is the meeting

[Kaoru]
Maybe another half hour
Did you want to hang out today?

[You]
Yeah
Thought I could spice up your day a little

[Kaoru]
My saviour

[You]
You wanna get dessert?
I know a good place

[Kaoru]
Sounds good
Would it be bad if I snuck out right now

[You]
Depends

How much did your mom want you to be there?

[Kaoru]
...
You suck.

[You]
HA
Maybe she wants you to inherit the business
Your dad does something computery right
Maybe Hikaru can do that

[Kaoru]
You're probably right
This meeting stuff is so boring though

[You]
It's probably more fun if you're actually involved
If you do end up taking after her
And you get bored
I could be like
Your fun assistant who helps keep you from going vegetable

Kaoru smiled at the thought. Having a 24/7 friend seemed nice.

[Kaoru]
"(Y/N), executive assistant" has a nice ring to it

[You]
I like "Executive manager" better

[Kaoru]
You would

The two of you texted right through to the end of the meeting, and Kaoru's mother noticed the slight pep in her son's step.

"What's got you all excited, Hikaru?"

Kaoru rolled his eyes at being misnamed.
"I'm meeting with a friend soon, we're getting dessert,"

The woman smiled, patting her son on the back,
"Sounds fun! I'm glad you have friends! Is it that (y/n) boy you and Hikaru talk so much about?"

"We don't talk about him that much! And yes, it is,"

"Well,"
She started, grabbing something from the table.

"Why don't you give him this? It's an early version of our upcoming catalog,"

Kaoru accepted the gift before the both of them walked off to the car.

He couldn't wait to get some dessert.

~Mori & Honey~

Unfortunately for you, this week you'd caught a cold, and as the kind and thoughtful person you were, instead of toughing it out and going to school, you stayed home.

Before and after school that day, Haruhi came to visit you, checking up on your condition, giving you your homework, and telling you about what antics the hosts got into that day.

It'd been about five minutes since Haruhi left your house today, and unexpectedly, there was a knocking at your front door.

You heard one of your parents going to the door, but after it opened, you weren't able to make out any of their voices. Was it Haruhi again? Did she forget something?

Soon footsteps approached your bedroom door, and you heard a voice from behind it.

"(Y/n)! We heard you were sick!"
A high pitched voice rang out.

Putting on a face mask, you invited the two of them in, though you cautioned them to keep their distance.

Instead of heeding your precautions though, the two of them decided to pull up a chair beside your bed.

"We got worried when Haru-chan said you didn't show up for school!"

Honey expressed, crouching down beside your bed and resting his head on the mattress.

"Thanks for worrying about me, but I'm fine,"

Right as you said that, you immediately went into a coughing fit, needing to turn away from the two of them as you replaced your face mask.

The two of them stared with worried looks on their faces, and Honey rummaged through one of the bags Mori was carrying with him.

"We brought you supplies! Takashi said that these would help!"

Honey put some cough drops on your lap, and you hurriedly put one of them into your mouth, hoping it would help.

You looked at Mori, and silently thanked him, to which he smiled.

"You sure you two want to sit this close?"

You asked, backing away slowly.

Honey looked at you with a confident look,

"Us Haninozuka's don't get sick easily! We're strong, inside and out!"

Mori gave you a thumbs up, and you decided it'd just be easier to go along with it. If they got sick, that was their problem.

It was nice to have some company, though Honey was speaking just a little too much for your sick mind to handle, so you had him fetch some water for you, which he was more than happy to do for you.

As the door shut behind him, you let out a sigh of relief.

It was in these moments that Mori's quiet nature really came in handy. Sometimes you didn't need to talk with someone, sometimes you just needed to be around a person.

But after a while, you couldn't help yourself.

"Anything interesting happen?"

Mori shook his head.

"You miss me?"

He paused for a moment, and with a faint smile, he nodded.

Mori could see you smiling beneath your mask, so he decided to say more.

"It wasn't the same without you there. I like our talks,"

Because of the sickness which addled your body and mind, you were extra vulnerable to flattery, seen in the reddening of your face.

Suddenly Honey returned with your water, and gasped upon seeing your condition.

"(Y/n)-chan! What happened! Did you get sicker?!"

He asked worriedly while Mori looked up at the ceiling innocently.

"I'm fine,"

You assured him.

"Or at least as fine as I was earlier,"

The short blonde had a skeptical look on his face before he got over it, instead showing you a cold compress one of your parents wanted him to give you.

"Let me put it on!"

He asked, which was more like a demand.

You obliged him, a satisfied sound coming out of you as the cool towel was placed on your feverish forehead.

As time passed on, Honey couldn't help but stare at your bed longingly. Even though you were sick, you just made that bed look so comfortable! And you were probably the perfect heater too!

"Can I-"

"Not in your outside clothes,"

You cut him off.

"You can pick something out of my closet,"

The short boy cheered, going through your clothes before finding something he liked and changed into it. He then proceeded to dive into your bed, nuzzling up to you with a wide grin.

Your blankets might not have been as soft as the ones he had, and your mattress might not have been as cushiony, but being with you was nice. Plus, the way you hugged him like he was a stuffed animal provided him with excellent warmth.

Honey hummed softly to himself before promptly conking out and falling asleep.

"Do you want me to move him?"

Mori asked once he was sure Honey was asleep.

For anyone else, it'd be a huge risk, but with Mori's years of experience, he'd become an expert at transporting the small boy without waking him up.

"It's fine, he smells nice,"

He nodded, and the silence resumed.

Feeling like Mori was being left out, you extended a hand towards him.

"I don't think you'll fit in this bed, but you can hold my hand if you want,"

Mori hesitated for a moment before accepting your offer, cringing slightly at your sweaty palms. He got over that quickly though.

~Tamaki~

"It's just you?!"
Tamaki cried as he saw you at his doorstep.

"It could also be nobody, so count your blessings,"
You retorted, stepping into his large home

Earlier that day, Tamaki had invited the host club to his house for a slumber party. He'd said that he'd spend the previous night binging commoner coming of age movies, and his main takeaway from all of that was that he needed to have a slumber party.

"Just imagine it! A group of close friends, coming together and sharing their deepest secrets, playing games before falling asleep, their dreams intertwined!"

To be honest, he was selling the idea pretty well. Would you be going though? Nope!

But then you saw how the other hosts looked, and you could tell they had the same decision as you.

Imagining the king alone in his room, his decorations set up for friends who'd never come, it even made you feel bad for him.

So against your better judgement, you went to his house.

"I know what you're thinking, and no, Haruhi isn't coming. You should've seen the look on her dad's face when she brought it up! Even with me here, he said he couldn't allow it,"
You explained, trying not to laugh at the memory.

Tamaki crouched to the ground with his arms wrapped around his legs, his gloomy aura spreading through the mansion like a thick fog.

So you decided to put on your most supportive self for the host king, plastering on a smile.

"I'm sure whatever you have planned is going to be great, senpai. What's up first?"

Immediately he brightened up, standing tall as he snapped his fingers, a group of houseworkers filing into the room with boxes. Tamaki grabbed one of the boxes, and handed it to you.

You opened it to see a set of pajamas, and when you looked up, he'd somehow already changed into his.

"They match!"

He said excitedly.

"...great,"

You replied.

"Alright!"

Tamaki exclaimed, wrapping an arm around your shoulder as he pointed upwards into the distance.

"Onto the festivities!"

~-~

Tamaki had a lot more fun with you than he expected, all of which was
