3k woohoo! Thank you all

"Just lay down and try to relax, alright? You had a pretty bad fall this time,"
You helped the tall boy onto the bed, and went to rummage through the nurse's fridge.

"That nurse is always taking a smoke break, she's a nurse, she shouldn't be smoking at all!"
And to her credit, she wasn't. She was just outside on her phone.

"Okay Mori-senpai, I've got your ice pack,"

You wrapped the cold pack in a towel and placed it on his knee,
"That feel better?"

He nodded silently, and you used another towel to lightly tie the pack to his knee.

He heard you let out a sigh,
"Jeez, senpai, you've been so clumsily lately, it isn't like you,"

And it wasn't! The first time Mori fell over was when Honey had jumped onto him when he was in the middle of standing up from a crouched position, leaving him completely vulnerable to falling.

You decided to be the one to help him out since you wanted to tell him some more about the show you'd watched, and surprisingly Honey hadn't decided to tag along.

"Where does it hurt? Did you hit your head?"
You asked various questions in quick succession, trying to get down to the bottom of his ailment.

"My head,"
He replied.

"Where's the nurse?!"
You asked with annoyance when you arrived to the empty infirmary.

Out for smoke break
-nurse

"What the hell."

Mori followed you around while you looked for something to use, and after some struggle trying to open a locked fridge, you managed to force it open, getting an ice pack for the hurt boy.

"Sit down somewhere,"

He did as he was told, and you walked over to place the ice pack to his throbbing forehead.

"That feel better?"

He just hummed in response, enjoying being taken care of.

Which brings us to the current day, where Mori will occasionally 'slip up' and get 'hurt', even when in reality, he was perfectly fine. It wasn't as though he was in desperate need to have someone take care of him, he just felt like it was nice to occasionally have someone fretting over him.

Besides, it was also a good way to hear more of your interesting stories.

"If I didn't know any better, I'd think you were tripping up on purpose!"

His eyes widened just slightly, which was all you needed to confirm your suspicions. There was no way this guy was messing up so much when he seemed to be so perfect before you'd really met him.

Chalking it up to him just wanting a break from hosting, you shrugged, pulling a chair near the bed he was on and starting to tell him all about what you'd watched.

"Those two have been going to the nurses office an awful lot..."
Tamaki noted with suspicion, sliding over to Kyoya.

The dark haired boy just continued write on his clipboard,
"I'm sure nothing's going on, though if you do decide to do some snooping..."

He affixed a small camera to the collar of Tamaki's uniform.
"It'd be good to get some candid photos,"

Kyoya then pointed to the short blonde boy running over to them,
"Naturally, Honey-senpai will be going with you,"

"I wanna see what they're doing too! Let's go, Tama-chan!"

The blonde duo set off together towards the infirmity, going over their very clever cover stories along the way. Haruhi would've joined them, but Kyoya reminded her that the more clients she got through, the quicker her debt would go down, so she reluctantly stayed back.

"Here we are! Let's get a scope of the scene first,"
Tamaki cracked the door open slightly, and both of the blondes peeked their eyes through.

It was just you and Mori in the infirmary, nothing too sketchy.

They could hear you say something unintelligible before you brought your head close to Mori's, putting a hand on his cheek.

Seeing that, Tamaki decided to make his entrance.

He'd planned on pretending to have a concussion, but it seemed like the world wanted his act to come to reality.

He tripped on a piece of paper on the ground, his head slamming down to the floor, pained groans coming out of him.

"What the hell?! Senpai, are you alright?"

The fall sounded like it hurt, so against your better judgement, you rushed over to his side, picking him up and setting him on one of the beds.

His eyes were shut tight in pain, with it only getting slightly better when a cool sensation touched his head.

He slowly opened his eyes, and what he saw almost made him gasp. The bright lights of the infirmary combined with the fact that his eyes had adjusted to the dark had made it seem like you were bathed in a holy glow, you practically had wings!

"(Y/n)-chan! There's a seagull on your back!"
Honey jumped up and snatched the bird off of your back before letting it out one of the windows.

"Would you believe it if I said that's the second time this week?"
You said jokingly.

You didn't get a response.
"Right, you just fell,"

It took a little bit of time plus some painkillers for Tamaki to be able to talk, which meant your silent solace had ended.

"Why'd you help me? As far as I'm aware, you're not very fond of me,"
Tamaki asked with a tinge of sass.

You chuckled,
"You're saying that as if you've ever hinted at liking me at all,"

He went silent, and you sighed.
"Look, I get we're not that fond of each other, but that doesn't mean I want you to get seriously hurt,"

It was as if you'd had an anvil dropped on you, the way Honey latched onto your back.
"You're so nice, (y/n)-chan! That's why everyone calls you an angel! Hey hey, take care of me next!"

You gave into the shorter boy's request, once again playing doctor for a host. Somehow, Mori didn't get annoyed at the disturbances at all, though you figured that was due to him just being used to it.

"There, all bandaged up and ready to make some girls ask you questions,"

Honey thanked you before jumping onto the bed Mori was still sitting on, talking to him about who knows what. While that was happening, you went back over to Tamaki, who was questioning his thoughts about you.

"That was a pretty rough fall, I'd say you probably got a concussion. Take this week easy, that means no spinning, jumping, running, or dancing,"
You listed, poking his chest with each banned action.

"But-"

"Do you want permanent brain damage or something?"
You cut him off.

He slowly shook his head.

"That's what I thought. Take painkillers only if it hurts so much you can't focus. If any of the girls ask why you're acting strange, just tell them you fought off a gang member or something,"
You kept instructing him with more helpful advice, and soon enough, it was just you and him in the infirmary, with Mori taking back to the host club.

"Shouldn't you be going back too?"
He asked.

You shook your head,
"I'm not leaving you alone here. Need a new ice pack?"

He hummed in response, and you replaced the melted bag with a fresh cold one.

"Where'd you learn all this... stuff?"

You looked off into the distance, reminiscing,
"All the clubs at my middle school kind of sucked, so I decided to be the school nurse's aid. Learned a lot there,"

With his question answered, Tamaki let his eyes rest, taking a fifteen minute Power Nap before getting back on his feet.

Of course you were there right beside him, a hand on his back to keep him steady in case his concussion had inhibited his walking. Though he wanted to be annoyed at you, he couldn't help but find the support to be a little... nice.

"(Y/n)! (Y/n)! Take me to the infirmary!"
Multiple girls cheered out for you, hoping to get the same experiences as they saw in the magazine Kyoya had published.

Kyoya smirked, explaining his genius marketing to the other hosts,
"Based on my research, 76% of (y/n)'s patients had confessed their love to him within five months,"

Haruhi wasn't too sure about that statistic, though she took a little bit of joy in Tamaki's grim expression.

There was no way he'd let himself be part of that seventy six percent.
