Katsuya's POV
I can't wait to tell Tetsuya the good news!
When I arrived in the basement, Tetsuya was screaming in pain due to the whips that Nash was doing.
I'm amazed that he held on for so long.
I held up a finger at Nash to tell him to stop.
I grabbed Tetsuya's chin and forced him to look up at me.
His whole body was filled with blood, cuts and bruises.
"Kiseki no Sedai is gone."
"No... no no no no this can't be!"
"Are you saying I'm lying, Tetsuya?"
"NO!! KATSUYA, WHAT DID YOU DO?!" he shouted.
I didn't answer.
He'll figure that out for himself.
He looked down and cried.
"I will now be the best player in Japan," I said.
I left.
Kuroko's POV
My body hurts all over.
I don't think I'm going to survive another round of torture.
Thankfully, everyone left.
I had to get out of there.
But how?
What am I best at?
Passing.
The strongest pass is Ignite Pass Kai.
"Passing" won't do anything helpful in this situation.
I tried to gather up my strength and try it for the sake of my teammates.
I concentrated the power on my wrists and forcefully free my hands and break the ropes that were binding me.
I did it once.
It didn't work.
Twice.
It didn't work either.
Before I did it for the third time, I was already exhausted.
It worked.
I embraced my freedom for a few seconds, and looked at my feet.
I've never done anything like that with my feet.
Since my right leg is broken, it would be a hundred times harder.
An idea flicked into my head.
I broke the chair using Ignite Pass Kai and removed the ropes and the legs of the chair from my feet.
I put some weight on my right leg but I fell and groaned in pain.
I forced myself to stand without putting pressure on my leg.
I tried to walk to the door and painfully succeeded.
My basement didn't have a lock so I wasn't surprised when I turned the door handle and the door opened.
Right.
There were stairs.
I tried to hold on the railing and lift up my body to get my left leg on the first step.
I slipped and hit my head on the step.
My vision became blurry and darkness was about to swallow me whole.
I was on the verge of passing out when I saw flashbacks of my friends.
I can't give in.
I fought back against the shadows of unconsiousness and crawled my way up the stairs.
I saw a pool of blood where I hit my head.
That was a lot of blood, but it wasn't enough to kill me.
When I got to the top, the lights were off.
I read the clock.
9:43 PM
I limped my way out the door.
