BTS POV

We watched her walk back into the practice room and 10 seconds later, the food that had been ordered was delivered. Some of us flopped down onto the floor breathing heavily while others dragged themselves out of the room to clean up a bit before sitting to eat. "Y/N?" Namjoon asked tentatively. She looked up from one of the bags of food that had also been brought in for her. "What's up Namjoon?"

I was only slightly surprised, when she didn't call me by my nickname but realized she was being professional because of where we were. "How many abilities do you have?"

Everyone looked back and forth between us as the air became tense, we all watched as she froze and look at Namjoon with wide eyes. She looked around the room before shaking her head and shrugging her shoulders like she did not know. It appeared she wanted to drop the subject, but we were all curious. Usually there was a rule when it came to elemental abilities for those that were anomalies. Fire users could not use water, nor could earth use air and vice versa. Yet, here was Y/N whipping out opposing abilities left and right like it was no big deal. He knew she had said she was an anomaly among anomalies, but he hadn't thought anything of it at the time.

He pulled up his phone and searched the internet to see if anything could be discovered further about her abilities. It appeared that she was unknown when it came to the extent of her powers and a majority of the articles discussed her speed, barrier, and strength not making any note about any elemental abilities. He felt his head twitch and tilt to the side. We all watched as she went and sat with our managers, it would appear that she needed to discuss things with them causing her back to be to us. She had put up quite the professional wall and we were all hating it.

"You don't think I upset her with my question, do you?" Namjoon asked Jin who was seated next to him. They both looked at her, Jin shook his head. "I doubt it. She probably doesn't want to talk about the extent of her abilities with all the microphones and cameras about. She was off camera during the practice run so her abilities weren't caught, just our surprised expressions."

"You guys have to remember even her own country doesn't know the extent of her abilities. So, we need to be careful that people don't find out because I have a feeling, they would try harder to get her back." Yoongi said probably not realizing how on point he was with that statement.

"Hyung, she wants to live as normal a life as she can, while using her abilities to protect the people she cares about which happens to be us and others in the same industry as us," Jungkook spoke up as he had moved closer to listen in on our conversation.

"Others in the same industry as us?" Jin asked.

"Yes, she is a fan of K-POP, not just of us as BTS, but multiple other groups at different agencies," Jungkook replied.

We all glanced back and forth before Namjoon said, "but we are her favorite right?" while looking Jungkook in the eye, which only led him to shrug.

"I think we are just lucky to be the ones that found her and offered her a home before anyone else," Jungkook murmured out causing Yoongi to nod in agreement. Yes, they had offered her a home and she had stolen their hearts one by one. They continued to steal glances at her while they mulled over various thoughts and what-ifs before her phone started to ping. She dug in her pocket for her phone but frowned when it wasn't the phone making the noise, then she started pat down her other pockets and pulled out another phone that must be her work phone. Looking at it she quickly shoved one more bite of food in her mouth and grabbed her water.

"Kookie, you want the rest of my food? I have to go to a meeting and won't be able to eat any more." She said not even noticing she had called him Kookie instead Jungkook or JK. She quickly brought her food over to him without waiting for an answer so that she could than book it out of their practice room. We all looked at each other, "Does anyone know her schedule?" Jin asked and we all shook our heads in response.

Y/N POV

I booked it down the hallway to the elevator and took the elevator up to the executive office areas. I had a meeting with Bang PD. I knocked on the door to his office once I found it, opening the door, and entering when called. I bowed my head to him and took a seat in the chair that he gestured to. He pushed a tablet, that had a couple flash drives on it towards me as I sat causing me to look at them, but I didn't touch them as of yet.

"Y/N, how is your first day going?" he asked as he glanced down and finished signing another piece of paper before looking back me with his elbows on the desk and hands clasped together under his chin.

I pursed my lips, "Honestly, a bit slow and I have been a bit bored..." I trailed off trying to think of the best way to put my thoughts into words. "Headquarters is a pretty safe place, so I was discussing with the managers on what I could do to be better prepared for this job. The more information I have on the places we regularly visit and the people I protect, plus any information on any of the sasaeng that you are aware of or on those that you are working to press charges against would allow me to be better prepared for any problems that arise."

I paused, watching him take in my words, "I know I can't prepare beforehand for everything but I can reduce the risk of being swarmed at an airport if I know the routes that are normally taken into and out of an airport, are there any habits that you guys know of the groups and members that I need to be aware of, that kind of information would invaluable to me."

He nodded his head at everything I was saying, "I figured as much so I have been having records pulled and making some phone calls to see what I can do to ensure that you are able to fulfill your job to the best of your abilities." he pressed down on one end of the flash drive wiggling it a bit.

"The files on here will assist you in some information on the sasaengs, bullies, haters that we are working to bring charges against. I have people making calls to airports to see if their security and you can meet to discuss their procedures. I have also included news agencies, the bodyguards we currently use, normal tour routes, and assigned a driver to you in case you need to go somewhere."

He wiggled the other flash drive, "This here contains blueprints and layouts of the new office building, information on the upcoming competition that will start in the early summer to create a new group, and personnel files that includes group members, trainees, and staff that works with each group normally." He leaned back in his chair and looked rather pleased with himself.

"Seems you have come prepared for this and I have a lot of homework now that will help pass the time while the groups work and also when they are at home." I said before continuing, " If they ever need me and I am not around, I can get to them quickly."

He raised an eyebrow, "I am not going to even ask, but I did hear you came to the To-Do shooting unannounced earlier today."

I laughed a bit embarrassed, "Ah yeah, sorry if I intruded or delayed things. You know how I said I could get to them quickly if I am not around, that was an instance of that."

He waved it off, "I do not know need the in-depth nature of your abilities or powers, I know that we can trust you to protect everyone to the best of your abilities."

I smiled at him, "I will do my best to not disappoint," I stood, extending my hand to him and we shook hands. He handed me a carrying case which I quickly slid the tablet into along with the two flash drives.

I had just left his office when my work phone started to ring. I was given this phone so that my personal phone wouldn't be listed in the contact list of BigHit employees. Though I had managed to get the group schedules on my personal as I would carry that with me more often, plus my personal phone had a higher encryption on it than the work phone. No one will be hacking that to find out the group's schedules. I glanced at the caller id surprised to see Incheon Airport on the screen. "Hello this is Y/N, how can I help you?"

"Hello Ms. Y/N, I am Park Sung-ho, head of security for the Incheon Airport. I have been contacted by BigHit and given your contact information since I understand that you are going to be a bodyguard to some of the idol groups under BigHit. This Wednesday, we actually have an idol group from SM Entertainment flying into the airport, if you would like to bear witness to procedures that we have, layout plans, and the interactions that occur between fans and their idols please feel free to join us."

"Oh, this Wednesday? What time are they going to be landing?" I asked, a bit distracted since I know Jimin's birthday was on Wednesday but wasn't sure if there were actual plans or not.

"They should be landing around 4 o'clock," he replied.

"It would be great of me to be able to witness in person what happens, as I have only witnessed through videos online. Would it make sense for me to arrive an hour early and also do you have any idea which group is flying in?"

"Yes, an hour in advance would work wonderfully, also I do not know the group name I just know they are under SM Entertainment."

The elevator tinged, and I stepped in finishing up the phone call with Sung- . I swiped through my contacts until I found the contact of the drive that had been assigned to me. I texted him the details of where and when I needed to be there. He confirmed that they would have the car ready at the BigHit building at 2:20pm to bring me to the airport. I rolled my head back and forth, before rolling my shoulder a bit thinking back to Namjoon's question, 'How many abilities do you have?'

I let a sigh out. Truthfully, it appeared I had unlimited potential to learn new abilities. Now would I be good at them all? Absolutely not, the body could only handle so much, but as a barrier anomaly I was strange all around. The barrier ability was a type of air elemental, a manipulation of particles to create a semi-flexible, yet solid barrier. I could work all the elements and I did not want to think of the consequences that would occur if it got out that I could handle them all. I mentally scolded myself for being sloppy in the practice room and going from fire to water.

I pinched the bridge of my nose as the doors opened for the elevator. I wandered into the new floor and made my way to the lounge area I remember seeing during my tour. I flopped into a chair with my back to the wall, before sending a quick text to the guys letting them know where I am before setting up the tablet and connecting one of the flash drives to it, opening up the various files and reading through them.

Let the games begin...
