"I have to ask you something."

"What is it?" she asked, her eyebrows arching into a frown.

I slowly approached her, considering that it'd be more appropriate to talk face to face to her. Now facing her, I took a deep breath, gathering all my courage and spoke.
"You're my Guardian Angel, aren't you?"

Hearing my words, her facial expression instantly changed from a calm one to a nervous one.

But as soon as she realized what's happening, she returned to her original posture, faking a sweet smile.

She cleared her throat before answering my question.
"I don't know what you're talking about. Now, please excuse me, but I have lots of work to do." she bowed as a sign of respect and turned on her heels, ready to leave. But I was faster and I grabbed her wrist; my grip wasn't being too tight. I didn't want to hurt her.

Seeing herself caught, she had no other choice but to turn around and face me, which she had done.

"I don't know why are you lying but let's talk. Please." I begged her.

"You want us to discuss about this topic on this hall?" she asked raising an eyebrow.

"Then let's talk inside my room." I said.

"I'm not allowed to enter the guests' rooms." she came up with another excuse.

"I don't care. If they say something, I'm gonna take the blame on me."

"A 'no' is a 'no'." she said smiling playfully.

                                         [...]

Silence. I didn't think that'd happen when we entered my room.

We were sat on the milky, whitish couch. Nobody said anything. We were just staring blankly.

Until I decided to take the lead and start the conversation.
I cleared my throat to get her attention, which I finally got.

I looked up into her eyes; those eyes that were watching me intently.
"So uhm.. I heard that you're my Guardian Angel. Why didn't you tell me?" I asked in a gentle tone. I didn't want to make her think that I'm mad at her. She probably had some reasons.

"I.. Your death.. It's because of me." she tried to find her own words.

"What? How is it your fault?" I was confused yet concerned about her. I don't think it's her fault.

"Seokjin, I'm your Guardian Angel. I'm supposed to protect you from every danger that might happen to you. But I wasn't capable of that and you died." she said looking down.
She sighed before adding.
"I was thinking about giving up on being a Guardian and to keep just guard the Gates. I don't want more people to lose their lives because of me. "

"Hey." I called her placing my hand on hers and squeezing it gently.

"Don't blame yourself for something that wasn't your fault. It just happened. Many have died even though they had Guardian Angels. That doesn't mean that it's their fault. It was all His choice. And about the last part, don't give up on that, please. It will be better in the future, trust me." I said giving her a sweet smile, which she gladly returned.

"Thank you. For everything." Jisoo said.
She stood up and I followed her movements.
"I have to go now. If you need anything, please, don't hesitate to call me through this." she handed me a feather."
"That's from my own wings. All you have to do is write my name on your wrist with it and I'll come to you immediately since it will appear on my wrist too." she said.
"Again, call me if you need me." she added.

"Don't worry. The feeling is mutual." I said smiling.

J I S O O

After the talk I had with Seokjin, I calmed down a little bit. The guilt is still there to be honest, but I actually feel better.

He has such a good heart. I really hope that He is going to let him live here in Heaven for good.

Speaking of which, I have to tell Seokjin the date of his judgment.

As I was ready to leave and search for him, I felt a mild pain coming from my wrist. It was Seokjin. He wrote my name and the place where he is. Unknowingly, a smile crept on my lips.

Spreading my wings and gaining a little momentum, I rose in the sky.

Soon enough I arrived in front of the hotel. I stepped inside, greeting Namjoon, and making my way to Seokjin's door.

Facing now his door, I knocked and after a short time he opened it, making me space to enter.

"How can I help you?" I asked.

"Uhm.. Is there any store here where I can buy food from?" he said scratching the nape awkwardly.

"No. As just a soul, you aren't able to eat."

"Then why is there a kitchen in here?" he asked confused.

"I don't know. Maybe ask the designer." I said smiling and he nodded.
"Oh and I was informed that your judgment day will be tomorrow. I'm going to be here one hour earlier. Please don't be late." I added and he nodded.

"Don't worry, I won't be late."

"Then if there isn't anything to help you with, I may leave now. Bye, Seokjin." I said.

"Please, call me Jin. It isn't necessary to keep the formalities." he said.

"Are you sure?" I asked and he nodded in response.
"Well okay then. Bye, Seok- I mean, Jin."

I made my way to the door, leaving his room and the building.

But one thought isn't leaving my mind.
Why do I feel like this around him?
