Y/N's POV

Next day
"Boss?" I knocked
"Yes come in" i heard him say
I entered the room as i was instantly welcomed by his ever so warm smile

"Boss where is yoongi?" I asked trying to talk a little about something else before coming to the point
"I sent him to USA.. i had some work over there so thats why." He answered
"Boss , actually there is also something else that i want to ask you ..." i said
"Yes go on.." he said pulling a gentle smile
"Sorry for being so abrupt but the other day was it you who transferred my sister and paid the bills in advance?" I asked
"Umm no .. i didn't." He said
"But that day i-.." i was about to say but i was cut off
"I didn't do it y/n , yes i did send my man but the hospital staff said that she got transferred already." He answered
"So why did you lie?" I asked as my eyes saddened
"Wait wait— you are misunderstanding something y/n.. i didn't lie ... you never mentioned about transferring her, you just came to me and thanked me ... and i thought you must have met my man on the way so maybe thats why you are thanking me.. i didn't know you were thanking me because you thought i transferred her.. remember clearly.. did you mention about transfer and all before thanking me?" He asked as he held my shoulders and looked at me kindly

I tried to recall it and yes he was right .. i had not mention about transfer .. i just thought he did it since jungkook refused and instantly went to his office and thanked him without saying anything.. and now that i remember there was no conversation about transfer and advance bills held between us.

"I am sorry boss !" I said as i felt bad that i blamed him for lying
"Its ok its ok.. instead i should be sorry that i was too late and couldn't help you." He said lowering his gaze
"No no don't apologise...its fine." I said holding his hand

I was working when a sudden fire alarm interrupted me...
The hallway erupted with loud footsteps as doors pushed open and out came everybody running for their lives
"What happened?" I asked one of them
"THERE IS A FIRE IN THE BUILDING .. GET OUT!" He panicked
I was quick to action as i quickly followed them making my way out of the building...
Everybody was out coughing and catching their breaths as sweats polka dotted their faces ...
I wiped my face off as relief took over me as i realised we made it on time

But then it hit me... boss? Where is boss

I frantically started to look for him all around among then people but to no avail .. i couldn't find him anywhere...
Without giving a second thought i rushed towards the building again only to be stopped by a pair of arms
"Are you crazy?" The person said
"Leave me, boss is in there." I broke free out of his grasp as i entered the building

Intense heat hit me as once white and cool lobby screamed hot and black
Fire flickered around producing black grey fumes as i gasped for air
The glowing embers twirled in a fiery dance twinkling like stars in hot swirling air as my worry for boss increased
Fierce fire could be seen making its way out of the hallways
The flames being the great hungry serpent devouring everything that came in their way ..

Hoseok's POV

"Boss!boss! I think your secretary went in.. she was looking for you .. i tried to stop her but she went in." James said pointing towards the roaring building
"What!"

Worry took over me as i made my way inside

"Boss wait, don't go the firefighters would be here any minute." James tried to stop me but i couldn't care less...

I went inside as worry engulfed my body

Oh y/n why would you do that?

"Y/n?" I searched
"Y/n !! WHERE ARE YOU??" I screamed at the top of my lungs..

"Boss?" I heard a faint voice from a distance and saw she was on the other side of the hall
"I am here .. lets get out of here." To which she nodded and ran towards me but much to my chagrin a burning door fell in between our way blocking us ..

"Don't worry y/n!! I ll come over there .. Don't move!" I alerted here
"No boss.. you get out i ll do something." I heard her say
"WHAT THE HELL WOULD YOU DO?" I shouted as anger took over me at her stupidity
"Just stay there okay!" I quickly calmed down not wanting her to tense up more

I quickly ran as i struggled to jump past the door..
i got a little back and running as fast as i can i jumped across the door that was almost to pieces now , but in the process i burnt my left foot..
I hissed in pain as i stumbled on my feet and went beside her
"Are you ok?" I scanned her looking at her head to toe..
"Yes.. what happened to your foot?" She asked
"Later.. lets go." Holding her hand i instructed her to jump together
We struggled a bit but manage to jump together but much to our disappointment she fell on her back and the fire caught her clothes ..

"Oh damn!" I cursed as i pulled her up and saw her wince in pain..
I quickly took off her jacket and saw that the fire had already made a hole in her clothes burning her skin...
"Lets get out of here first!" We practically ran out as fast as we can as we both fell on the ground gasping for air..
At a distance i could hear the siren of ambulance and firefighters

I felt bad that she was burnt and it hurt me when i saw her in pain but i was relieved that i made it on time..

Y/N's POV

Soon the firefighters were quick to action and the fire was finally subsiding ..
I was relieved when i got to know that the fire didn't cause much damage.. the lobby was the part that got burnt alot..
thankfully the firefighters made it on time and the fire didn't spread much ...

The ambulance staff treated my wound and covered me up as i saw people making call to their homes

Who do i call?
Jungkook?
I mentally laughed at the thought
"Hey you ok?" I heard boss ask as concern flash in his eyes
"Yes boss i am fine." I smiled as he sat beside me
"How is your foot?" I asked
"Well its fine , however walking is painful." He laughed
"Why did you get in?are you crazy? What if something had happened to you??" He said as i saw an unrecognisable expression in his eyes
"Boss boss its okay i am here .. i thought you were inside and i panicked thinking that maybe you couldn't get out and .."
"Y/n?!!" He cut me off as he moved closer to me
"Were you really worried for me?" He asked as he held my face and caressed my cheeks
I nodded " if i ask you to worry about me for the rest of your life too, will i be asking to much?" He said gazing in my eyes
"No boss .. you are one of the best person i have ever met .. why wouldn't i worry for you" i replied smiling at him gently ...
The once kind expression on his face turned to a serious one and he got further closer to me ..
he started tilting his head and thats when i realised

"Boss!" I stopped him as i got away from him
"What's wrong?" He asked
"No- boss i am married .. i can't ." I replied as i quickly got up leaving him in confusion..

So what do you guys think
So the boss is now falling for her too 😝
