I feel like I have lived 10,000 lifetimes
And I do not envy the close-minded immortality of my creation.
I age every hour,
While youth stares back
And the lack of lines,
Does not match the astounding time I have spent on this Earth.
I feel the pieces of my soul scattered amongst the cosmos.
As each shard screams into a vacuum,
I realize I am alone,
Left to orbit a planet
Inhabited by souls,
As gravity rotates my cold body,
No way of knowing heat.
I cannot fathom holding the hand of another warm body,
I was killed the last time I did.
I am so lonely.
