"Koishii..." Kakashi's voice trailed off as he looked at her, stopped in his tracks. What could he possibly say? He knew it wasn't true. Not even Orochimaru could possibly bring the dead back. Koishii must have known it was a long shot; was she truly that desperate? Was her heartache that great? Kakashi adjusted her in his arms and continued walking, "not even Orochimaru could do that. And I can guarantee you that he's not interested in reviving your clan. He only wants your power for himself. He killed off your entire clan trying to take it the first time. Which reminds me. Did he take a DNA sample from you?" Koishii was still quite out of it. The green liquid she was in had also acted as a mild sedative, and it still blurred her thoughts. But she did remember feeling Kabuto jamming a needle into her arm and taking something out before she was thrown into her vial. "He... Took my blood," she replied quietly, breathing in deeply and closing her eyes once more. It was just as Kakashi had feared. Orochimaru probably had nearly everything he needed.

Kakashi gently set Koishii down against the wall. She had fallen asleep again. He prepared his chidori, and broke through Tenzo's wooden door. He heard the clashing of kunai outside, and he immediately drew his own, ready to jump into combat. But the scene was different than before. Gai looked as if he shouldn't even have been standing, let alone fighting the way he was, and Tenzo was also busy, locked in battle himself, and worn down. It didn't take long for Kakashi to figure out what happened, and he leaped in, ready to defend his teammates.

The dizziness began to fade. Energy replaced fatigue. And awareness replaced grogginess. Koishii fluttered her eyes open, the blur of her surroundings slowly taking form. Where was she? She was no longer in the tube of that test room. She closed her eyes and thought back, digging deep. Kakashi. He had carried her out. She opened her eyes, her cheeks becoming slightly pink. She remembered their previous conversations, the one out in the hall and the one after their mission, but Orochimaru's conversation flooded into her head as well. There was so much conflicting information. She felt flustered, confused, and... Angry. She stood up, facing the battle scene from within the cave. She set her eyes on that silver-haired man. The man that always threw her emotions for a loop. The man that she craved deep down to be near. The man that she wanted to beat senseless. She watched him, her blood boiling with each second. Was he her friend? Her foe? A liar? How did he tie in to her people? She had never felt so irate in her life. Her breathing became hard and heavy, and the curse mark glowed red, spreading over her entire body like a whispy smoke. And then something strange came over her. She felt her body begin to morph. And it felt wonderful. Her skin turned dark gray with patches of scales scattered throughout, and her hair grew to twice its length, hardening and turning spikey. Her fingernails, toenails, canines, and ears grew long and sharp, and her nails turned black. Two large, ram-like horns grew from her head, reaching down passed her chin. She grew spikes from her elbows and shoulders, and two great dragon-like wings sprouted from her back. The white of her eyes went black, her irises red, and her pupils into slits. Her lips became black as she growled, emerging from the cave. The battle stopped immediately on both sides; all eyes were on her. "Is that..?" Gai asked himself aloud; Tenzo stared in disbelief: was she even more of a threat to the Leaf now? But Kakashi. He locked eyes with her, unable to look away. He could sense her fury.

Koishii was the first to break away from their gaze. She counted their foes. Two. Three. Five. Seven. Seven still stood besides Kakashi, Gai, and Tenzo. Seven stood between her and Kakashi. Koishii reached within herself, unlocking her kekkai genkai like she never had before.

Fear struck the hearts of everyone as Koishii transformed into a large, ominous mass of deadly black smoke. In an instant, she enveloped the entire battle scene. She entered the lungs of Orochimaru's little lab rats at the same time, and tore them to shreds, leaving them to either suffocate or drown in their own blood. Whichever came first. Once they were dead, she solidified, immediately grabbing Kakashi by his neck and slamming him into a tree, leaning into him, glaring. "You are going to tell me everything! Right fucking now. In the cave where they were supposedly slaughtered." Kakashi couldn't look away from her. There was so much more than anger in her eyes. Sorrow. Resentment. Confusion. Of course he would do this for her. He nodded. "You two go on ahead. We'll catch up," she barked at Tenzo and Gai, before turning into that dark smoke, and then did something she could never do before: she continued to let the lightness of smoke consume Kakashi. Kakashi gasped for air, his heart racing as he became one as smoke with Koishii, and faster than anything he had ever known before, they were off, zooming to the cave where her people once resided.
