BELLAS POV:

"kylie?" i said shocked.

"oh my god!" she says running towards me, hugging me.

i was shocked, i was quite uncomfortable with the hug since i wasn't used to it with some people but i managed to fake it.

"i missed you so so so much what happened" she says with excitement.

"um yk just dad made me do online school"

"why tho?" she asked.

i didn't want to tell her, i lost trust in everyone it's gonna be hard for her to gain my trust.

"um there were some business stuff so dad thought it was yk easier if i did online school" i said in a much lower tone than her.

"why are you so quiet?" she asked.

"um just tired, it's been a long day" i lied again.

"same, i feel you btw did yk emma hudson left the school?" she says.

"oh really" i faked being interested.

"oh hi bella it's been a while since we've met" her mother came in the middle of the conversation.

"hey nice to see you again" i said trying to be polite.

"well kylie we have to go now" her mom says as relief filled my body.

"oh okay well it was nice to see you bella, hopefully you come back to school i'll text you later" she says.

"oh did you change your phone number?" she asks.

"no i just barely touch my phone just text me on my dads number, i'll be more likely to answer" i said panicking and regretting saying that.

"oh well goodbye see you soon" she says going in for another hug as i had to fake a smile now since her mother was watching me.

"well bye" i said waving and running into the bathroom.

locking the door i was very uncomfortable with what happened.

"bella" i heard an unfamiliar voice as i slowly got out of the stall.

it was a women, she looked in her 20s.

"oh hi your bella?" she asked as i nodded.

"well your um your dad told me to check if your here, he was searching for you" she says.

"your my dads friend?" i said quietly confused on who she was.

"um no idk your dad he just saw me walking in and told me to call your name" she says as nodded.

i washed my hands and left the bathroom.

"bella" dad says making me jump a lil.

"you scared me, why did you leave without even telling me" he says as we started walking back to maiyas room.

"well i was just going to the bathroom and um i s- yeah that's it"

"did anyone talk to you?" he asked.

"no why" i lied.

"you sound nervous" he said stopping infront of me.

"was it a girl or a guy"

"first of all how did you easily read me like that second of all it was..."

"it was?"

"kylie" i whispered as he come closer.

"huh?" he says bringing his ear closer to me.

"kylie" i said.

"oh" he says as i nodded.

"what did she say?"

"well first she hugged me and um-" i said as my hand began shaking a bit.

dad interrupted me by hugging me.

i sighed.

"idk why dad i was so uncomfortable i didn't even want to talk to my bestfriend that i was friends with since kindergarten" i said.

"it's okay baby it's okay" he said still hugging me.

i managed to not cry since i reminded myself that there where ppl around, i hated the attention.

"i wanna go home" i said as dad pulled away from the hug.

"but you were so excited to come" dad said as i looked away.

"can we stay just a lil bit we can't be rude, i promise i'll buy you ice cream after" he says.

"okay" i said.

dad tickled me as i began laughing.

"dad stop *giggles*"

"alright alright come on let's go in" he says opening the door.

"dw guys i caught her sneaking out" dad says as we entered making me laugh.

*a few hours later*

me and dad were eating ice cream watching kevin hearts stand up comedy. honestly so funny.

by the end of the show i was freezing and sleepy.

MATTIAS POV:

and boom again she's knocked out.

first i let her sleep for a lil so when she is completely asleep it'll be harder to wake her up.

i texted the boys,i told them the last person who comes in is gonna close the lights and lock the door.

when i wanted to carry bella she was freezing so i put my hoodie on her which looked huge.

i carried her to my room and placed her slowly on my bed.

i got ready for bed and went back to sleep.

now i was overthinking on should i let her go back to school.

see how uncomfortable she was with her BESTFRIEND that she knew for about 6 years, it's horrible

i sit up panting.

i manage to calm myself down when i noticed dad was sleeping.

i laid back down, but i was terrified, i didn't want to go back to sleep.

turning to face dad i was thinking if i should wake him up or no.

my own thoughts were making fun of me.

i get up being thirsty i got downstairs to get me some water.

walking quietly i noticed uncle kairi was dead asleep on the couch.

now i have to become extremely quiet so he doesn't wake up.

while filling my cup with water i hear.

"bella?" i turn around to see tired uncle kairi rubbing his eyes infront of me.

"why aren't you asleep it's like 3 am" he says with a tired voice.

"um i just woke up and i was just thirsty yk um yeah" i said nervously.

"wake up your dad and tell him about your nightmare" he says.

"i didn't have any nightmare" i said lying.

"whatever you say" he said walking back to the living room.

i quickly drank the water, put it in the sink and walk upstairs.

i lay down next to dad. dad was facing me so i couldn't place me head on his chest like i always did.

as i was overthinking of waking him up or struggling with going back to sleep i decided to wake him up, i was scared uncle kai is gonna tell him and he is just nvm.

"hm" dad says opening his eyes.

"um dad i-i-" i couldn't even let out the words.

i took a deep breath " i had a nightmare" i said not making eye contact.

"it's okay" he says calmly.

i couldn't so i went to the bathroom and locked it.

looking at myself in the mirror i started to cry as i heard dad calling me.

dad hugged me and pulled away making eye contact waiting for me to say something.

"i hate it dad" i opened up.

"i can't sleep, i can't eat , i can't do anything dad because of this stupid ah- *groan*"

"i just want to be normal like every other kid,
i'm 13 and i still have nightmares" i said ashamed of myself.

"i cant do this" dad then hugged me stayed there quietly just wanting me to say everything

"i hate it i hate it i hate it" i said as i hit his chest.

"i hate it i hate it gosh i hate it so much" i said giving up as i hugged dad.

"i hate it too bellas" he says.

"just promise me that you are gonna hold on and keep going, everything will get better just don't give up okay"

i nodded "i'm gonna try my best" i said as i was tired.

my eyes were getting heavier but i didn't want to go to sleep.

i don't want another nightmare.

"it's okay to have nightmares at any age" dad said going to sit down on his couch as i sit on a chair infront of him.

"no dad your supposed to stop when you get older" i said confidently.

"no your mother had nightmares just like you did all the time" dad said.

i smiled as he mentioned mom. ik it's hard for dad to talk about her.

"really?"

"yeah but over time it faded away just like growing up your nightmares fade away" he says.

"but why did she have nightmares was everything alright?" i asked.

"do i have to tell you" dad said as i nodded and he chuckled.

dad mumbles something that i didn't hear then said.

"when me and your mom were in high school there was a guy that loved your mom but she didn't love him so she chose me, he was so mad about it for years that when you were born he would threaten us. your mom was so scared she started having nightmares but once she felt safe and secured again she managed to over come her fears"

i was quiet.

i kept thinking and thinking.

"bella?" dad says waking me up from zoning out.

"the guy, it was chase right? chase hudson" i said and dads eyes widened.

"how did you know" he says.

"um well when he um took me he kept saying about how he wanted to do this for years..." i said getting flashbacks of those horrible nights as i started covering myself with my arms.

"bella?" dad said as i lifted my head up quickly.

as bella was praying her father didn't notice what happened he did.

covering herself made him understand. she wasn't ready yet.

"i'm tired i'm going to sleep" bella said emotionless and getting up.

this happens sometimes, bella shuts off any shown emotions to avoid showing any weaknesses or for ppl to feel bad for her.

mattia sighed hoping she's gonna be okay.

he knew bella wasn't actually gonna sleep already since she isn't feeling safe, he knows bella is gonna fake sleeping to avoid mattia to worry.

well mattia was gonna do the same, fake sleeping so he can see what bella would do.

"goodnight bella" mattia says as bella began her fake sleeping.

*a couple of mins later*

mattia fake slept as bella believed it.

he turned around facing her to see what she would do.

bella first actually tried to sleep and kept switching sleeping positions.

as bella stoped and stared at the ceiling she began getting chills. she started to cover herself with the blanket more and making her body in a circular shape.

as bella was moving the blanket mattia noticed her hand were shaking. he didn't want to blow the cover making her uncomfortable he came closer to bella to make her feel more safe. he faced the ceiling as bella slowly placed her head on his chest.

mattia smiled.

he wrapped his arm around her back as bella began calming down and getting sleepy.
