There are many crossroads and events that can transpire, for in limbo or purgatory, it is something else to behold.-Conduit of Liminality

The Conduit of Liminality is the child of Life and Death, and is an exceptionally powerful Conduit in his own right, as well as being one of the strongest ones to exist, as well as being the older half-sibling of both the Forbidden Conduit of Corruption and the Conduit of Purification.

Backstory:

Life and Death have a very long history together and over time the two have warmed up to each other, in spite of Death being distant to others. Death doesn't know why, but for some reason, he is attracted to Life in ways that he cannot even explain. And Life, in spite of being the opposite of Death, welcomes him in her life, seeing elements of his person that she sees makes him better then the other Conduits, as well as also being attracted to him as well, to the point where she herself began to fall for him. Even though Death wants nothing more then to continue with his cycle, for some reason, he cannot help but desire to get close to her, with Life hoping he gets close enough to stay with her in a way. And eventually, a year later, Death began to stay with Life, which she had hoped to happen. Life and Death began to hang out and stay with one another, with Death feeling attracted to her even more then ever before, in ways that he could not ever hope to comprehend, for he does not know why he is feeling in a way such as this. Eventually, however, Death and Life began to make love with one another, consummating their feelings for one another, being the most pure affection and procreation that Life had felt, the very first time she had felt this. Months later, Life would become pregnant with Death's child, and gave birth to the young child.

When the child was born, it felt itself to be very strong, stronger than both Life and Death themselves, and yet, it is still young with its potential untapped. But even so, Life and Death vowed to help the child have a happy life, although Death still has to teach the child to be a Conduit, since he desires to hold true to the old Conduit traditions. But even so, his life for Life is stronger than the old traditions, and so he does it for her sake.

As the child grew up, she grew up mainly with Life, and while she does possess Death's distant and loner attitude, she also has inherited Life's kindness and appreciation for life, and thus has the same mentality of treating others equally as Life does, meaning she considers the Forbidden Conduits and Bio-Conduits to be just as deserving of a life as the normal Conduits. Although Death still employs her into the business of the Conduits, with Life also constantly being a part of it to make sure that she is okay. It is here that she is known as the child of Liminality, for she has the power to manipulate the conceptual aspect of ambiguity and thresholds for events, time, space and entities, having demonstrated this power on accident once. Because of this, Life and Death do all that they can to help Liminality control her powers. She grew up to be a very powerful Conduit, more capable and powerful then either parents, but she is very compassionate and empathetic, as well as being very soft. However, she is not above getting her hands dirty and fighting back, even killing other people when she needs to, for she has no qualms fighting back and beating down others that dare offend her parents.

One such case involved Darkness, when he raped Life, her mother. Liminality returned the favor by making him suffer a torment like no other, which scarred Darkness very badly to the point where he vowed to never put his hands on Life again. Unfortunately, it was too late to take it back, as the Forbidden Conduit of Corruption was born from Life, and began to wreak havoc in existence. Liminality hated Darkness and never forgave him for what he'd done. Liminality is even forced to fight against Corruption on a number of occasions in order to stop him from causing far too much damage. A little while later, Liminality would later gain another half-sibling, which is the Conduit of Purification, who was born from Radiance and Death, due to Radiance's request. Unlike with Corruption, Purification got along with Liminality well, with Liminality having a close sister relationship with her. Liminality was even the one to introduce Purification to Life in the first place, who treated her as if she was her own.

Unfortunately, the happy days were brought to an end, when the Conduits were betrayed by O'Brien, who killed Life. Enraged at this treachery, Liminality and Death unleashed their fury out on O'Brien and tried to kill him. O'Brien escaped, but not before Death used one of his Ravens to make him continuously have bad luck and misfortune to get worse everyday, with Bastian joining forces with O'Brien. And O'Brien himself would later get himself killed by opening the Book of Truths. But the damage was already done, and Death had changed back to his previous cold and uncaring self, with Liminality deciding to leave him, since she feels like their relationship would be strained with him now that Life's gone. Despite this, she does visit Purification from time to time whenever she has the chance.

Liminality goes all on her own, as she mastered her power to the fullest extent, as well as the fact that she began to bond with some of the Forbidden Conduits that exist, such as Prism and Muse, who they seem to have a great appreciation for. Liminality proved to be so like Life with how it is that she treats the Conduits like they are equal, just as Life had done, and has been able to forge good relationships with them. And everyday, she does all that she can to try and make her dead parent, Life, proud of her, as she goes around and accepting other Forbidden Conduits as people and never treating them with scorn or hatred, unless they are Conduits that are evil and do very horrible crimes.

But even so, even too this day, she does all that she can to live up to the expectations of the one parent she loves.

Appearance:

The Conduit of Liminality resembles a young adult female in her early 20s, with grey hair and eyes. She is shown to be wearing a grey cloak with grey robes underneath the cloak themselves. She also seems to possess a face that is shown to be similar to that of Life's in terms of beauty, but is much more stern and more hardened than her.

Personality:

Liminality is said to be a combination of both of her parents. While she has Death's cold and distant attitudes, she also possesses Life's kindness and compassion for all living beings. She is also very responsible, but dislikes the Old Conduit traditions, due to seeing them are causing more harm than doing good.

However, she is very willing to to get violent when the situation is necessary for this to be the case, and while she would try to talk it out in normal cases, in the case that her family is in danger or something else happens to them, she will not hold back in what she does to them. And ever since her mother, Life, died, Liminality felt immense grief of what happened to her, but she did take the time to process the grief completely, and thus tried all she can to move on from it, even though she knows that it will forever haunt her for all of eternity.

Powers and Abilities:

Conduit of Liminality: Being the embodiment of Liminality, she has control over all aspects of Liminality throughout the verse, and as such acts as a fixed point of both the beginning and end.

Reality Intertwining: Liminality can intertwine both the physical and spiritual world at the same time.

Liminal Commanding: Liminality has the power to control liminal beings to do their bidding for her.

Personal Liminality: Liminality possesses her own liminal state, allowing for her to manifest specialized abilities that lie somewhere in the middle of the two states that border the threshold form. The abilities can range from the physical to the spiritual to the conceptual.

Liminality Arts: Liminality can utilize Liminality Arts, a specialized system of techniques based around liminal power, where she can either occupy an in-between space between their previous designation and their transformed state or describe grander degrees of reality, including architecture (passageways and paths), time periods and events (twilight, solstices), supernatural locations (Limbo, Purgatory) opposite concepts (life and death) and even intermediate beings (ghosts, shapeshifters).

Relationships:

Conduit of Life and Death: The parents of Liminality, she loved both of her parents a lot, with Life being who she is the closest too, since she is responsible for influencing her to be a kinder and happier person then she ever was, although she does love her father, Death, who helped her be a Conduit and he participated in what he wants her to do, even if it is just out is respect for her. She grieved for Life when O'Brien killed her in his treachery, and Death went back to her his cold and distant self, even being as such to Liminality. Liminality toon the hint and left him he, although Death deep down wishes that she'll one day come back to him, so he can hug her tightly and not let her go. But for now, he is overtaken by his own grief and pain.

Conduit of War: The Conduit is like a brother to Death, the Conduit of War is somewhat like an uncle figure for Liminality, as he helped teach her how to fight. War and Liminality get along very well, with Liminality still being in contact with him, even after what happened with Life.

Conduit of Darkness: The Conduit who had raped her mother, Liminality unleashed her wrath into him and made him suffer dearly for what he had done to her. Darkness chose to stay away from her mother again, afraid to unleash her wrath into him again.

Conduit of Light: The conduit who mated with her father, Death, Liminality does not like Light is single bit and does all she can to stay away from her, although she does not hate Light as she does with Darkness.

Forbidden Conduit of Corruption: The son of Darkness and Life, Liminality has come to blows either her younger half-brother a number of times, refusing to see Corruption as family due to what he is like and how much he wants to destroy everything, with Corruption trying to kill her countless times.

Conduit of Purification: In contrast to her relationship with Corruption, Liminality gets along very swimmingly with Purification, and the both of them have a very close sister-like relationship with one another, even at times teaming up to try killing Corruption.

Conduit of Passion, O'Brien: The Conduit that she hates the most out of everyone else she had ever met, she gained a deep hatred to him due to the fact that he had killed Life, her mother. Him becoming Sol makes her determined to make sure her suffers a fate that is worse than death.

Prism: The Forbidden Conduit of Disorder, Prism and Liminality get along very well, with Liminality being kind to Prism since he is a rather passive and well-behaved Conduit. Prism in return sees Liminality as a friend to an extent, even if he is a loner himself.

Muse: The Forbidden Conduit of Music, Liminality enjoys the music that Muse makes with her singing, and Muse even feels very happy to hear that, as Muse and Liminality get along very well with each other.

Merus: The Bio-Conduit of Pre-Eminence, Merus and Liminality met, with Liminality's kindness that she inherited from Life being able to win Merus' trust very quickly.

Notes:

Liminality is truly genderless, even when she was a young child. She chose to turn into a female form in order to remember her mother, who she had a closer relationship with then Death.

Liminality proved herself to be almost as powerful as Balance/Hugo.

Liminality does not like to prank others, and sees them as wastes of them.

Liminality does not like the old Conduit Traditions, and only honors them out of respect for Death. After Life's murder of O'Brien and Death becoming cold and distant, Liminality left the Conduits to venture out on her own, rejecting the traditions, seeing them as harmful.
