This takes place in the Multiverse that Vessel!Error's in.

Death is the ending, Life is the beginning, but most important of all, Rebirth is the cycle of both such concepts.-Altan

Altan is the child of the Sans and Toriel from Reapertale, and while they are said to be the Deity of Reincarnation, in actuality, Altan is the Conduit of Rebirth, and is one of the most powerful Conduits ever born.

Backstory:

A few of days after the wedding of Sans, the God of Death, and Toriel, the Goddess of Life, both baring the souls of the Conduits of their respective concepts, Toriel has began to act a little bit...odd. She began to look and act sick, as she is holding her stomach, and seems to be avoiding Sans for some reason. This made Sans concerned, and during one moment, he approached Toriel, and asked for her to tell her what's wrong. Toriel tries to assure to him that she is alright, but Reaper sees through those words, and told her that he knows that there is something wrong, and slightly begs for her to tell him what's wrong, even mentioning the change in her behavior. Toriel, knowing that Sans is a very persistent person, sighed, and took his hand, and touched his hand onto her stomach. It didn't take long to realize what this meant. Toriel is pregnant with his child. But how? They did not even do procreation. Sans called Alphys, and they both began to determine what happened. Apparently, Sans and Toriel didn't need to do procreation. As it turns out, due to their immense love towards one another, both Sans and Toriel's Conduit Soul ended up reacting to one another, with the special tiny fragments of their Conduit Souls mixing and merging into a new Conduit Soul within Toriel's body, which will make a new Conduit, meaning that Toriel is having a baby. At first, Toriel was a little bit scared of this, due to the dangers of Alphatale, and the fact that Ink could invade their universe at any moment. But Sans, not wanting Toriel to feel distressed, but his hands onto her one single hand touching her stomach, and goes to make sure that he will protect Reapertale with all of his life, so that their young baby could grow and have a good life, and refuses to let him get killed or consumed by what is out there. Toriel, seeing the determination and resolution on Sans' eyes, realized that she is not dealing with this alone, and thus, decides to get her friends to help.

During the months passing, Reaper would always be on the lookout for Ink or Infected, or anyone that dares to try and invade Reapertale, and at the same time, he goes back to Toriel, to assure to her that he is with her, along with some of Toriel's friends. And as the months came by, Toriel's stomach grew more and more bigger, as the baby continues to nurture and grow. Reaper even took the chance to feel the kick of the baby, which made him happy that Sans and Toriel's child is on the way. Papyrus and Muffet, 2 other people that Sans is close to, also tried to help out Toriel the best that they can, and Toriel is very happy that she is not fighting against this all on her own, and that there are other other people with her.

After about 9 months...the child was born, and they inherited both Sans and Toriel's features, with their Conduit Soul inside of their body, but this one being from the 2 Souls that Toriel and Sans have. Vowing to raise the kid, he decides to protect him at all costs, as well as he with Toriel, so that Ink and anybody else does not get their hands on them. And Sans and Toriel...after a little bit of a discussion...they decided to name the child...Altan, and Altan, grew up with their parents, for the past 9 years. Altan is mistaken for a God within Reapertale...but Altan is more than that. Altan...is a newborn Conduit, known as the Conduit of Rebirth.

Appearance:

Altan has the face of their father, but the traits of their mother. The head is of their father, a skull, and possesses ears of the mother, as well as having gained horns. They also have their father's skeletal hands, and their mother's feet. They have eye lights that are purple, which is a fusion of the red irises of the mother and the blue iris of the father. However, as Altan is genderless, they look like they have the appearance of being both male and female. Altan as their grey cloak, based on their father's, but wears their clothing beneath the grey cloak, which is dark green, and resembles that of Toriel's, except that it is also looking like it is worn by both males and females. They have a upside down soul, which is as white as a monster's soul, except that it has the black middle, just like any of the other Conduit Souls. They are 9 years old.

Personality:

Altan is a very curious individual. They are rather new and interested about the world that they are in, as they have never seen it before. Altan has a very kind and innocent personality, but they are very responsible, due to being taught of the concepts of life and death by both their mother and father. Because of this, Altan is taught to be a very responsible person, especially with them having the role as the Conduit of Rebirth. While they are aware of how powerful they are, they are also aware of the fact that they are not the strongest being alive, and are well aware that there are entities that are more powerful than Altan. But even with those responsibilities, Altan still tries to have fun like any of the other children his age. He likes to draw, make friends, and always tries to entertain people, as well as a desire to make them smile and laugh, due to being taught how to be happy, thanks to their mother, Toriel, and embraces that part of them. Altan is also the most kindhearted and most forgiving person to be with, not to mention having gained an extremely gorgeous look, possessing both a handsome and very beautiful appearance, which they have gained thanks to a part of their body having been inherited by the Conduit of Life herself.

However, there are elements of their father and the Conduit of Death, when they are in a bad mood. If they are mad or sad, they would have a very gloomy and slightly unstable personality, and they would even have a sense of dark humor, which makes Toriel a little bit uneasy with whatever that they say whenever they are in that mood.

Powers:

Due to being the Conduit of Rebirth, being made from the 2 Conduit Souls that both Toriel and Sans bare, Altan is an extremely powerful entity, and is one of the strongest Conduits to ever have been born, in spite of their young age.

Fireball: Altan has inherited their mother's Fire Magic, which burns just as hot as Toriel's flames. They can manipulate them into projectiles, or make flames as a source of light in very dark places.

Life Manipulation: Altan can manipulate life, such as accelerating plant growth, or by making an entire species. They can even use his power to revive the dead, but he almost never uses this, unless they have a very good reason to using this power. It is power to even revive a god in Reapertale.

Bones: As the child of Sans, Altan can manipulate bones, such as using them as perching projectiles, or to simply use it like a wall to block an extremely powerful attack.

Death Manipulation: Having inherited their father's heritage, Altan can touch someone to kill them, or they'll get angry enough to make an aura that kills other people they gets close to him.

Twilight Magic: as the child of Toriel and Sans, Altan has the ability to manipulate Twilight, in other words, manipulating both the Light and the Darkness as one single magic.

The Void: Altan can use their power to suck in all of the light in one area, in order to make an entire area be filled with nothing but true, impenetrable darkness. Not even a Flashlight is able to allow someone to brighten up the area that they are now inside of.

The Full: The opposite of the Void, Altan can use this power to suck in the darkness in one area in order to brighten the area that he has in. And when they suck in all of the darkness in this one single area, it will look as though the lights in the area are turned on and is unable to be shut off.

Wings: Altan has 4 pairs of wings from his back, both of them having grey feathers, with some parts of the bony wings being covered with white fur. These allow Altan to fly very fast.

Rebirth: Altan's most notable ability is to reincarnate a mortal. As the child of both the Goddess of Life and God of Death, and by extension, the Conduit of Life and the Conduit of Death, Altan can decide how a person will be reborn as.

Soul Transference: when a person dies, Altan can move the deceased's soul into the infant, while they are still in their mothers, so that they'll be reincarnated as a new person entirely. And it does not simply apply to just reincarnate as the same species. Altan can even reincarnate individuals into different species. For example, Altan can move the soul of a human to a monster body, so that a human can be reincarnated as a monster. This can also happen in reverse order, with a monster reincarnating as a human. In a more insane circumstance, they can take the Soul of a person from an Alternate Universe, and place it in the soon-to-be mother of a separate one.

Samsara Blaster: Altan, having inherited their father's magic, is able to summon a blaster resembling a dragon's head with the horns of a goat that can shoot a beam of Twilight at a specific target. However, how it effects a person depended on what they are like in their current life. If a good person is hit, than they will be healed and gain an increase in strength, as well as allowing them to reincarnate someone into a life better than the one that they have in the current life they're living in. If an evil person, than they will have their lives sucked out and their souls destroyed, preventing them from being reincarnated, or they can be reincarnated into an even worse and damning life. If it is a neutral person...the effect is random. If used on an inanimate object, it will vary, depending on the object in question. If on a place filled with plants, then flowers began to grow. If used on something non-living, than the object will be destroyed without much effort.

Astral Sight: Altan can see ghosts, allowing them to see spectral entities they most would not see.

Palingenesis: Unlike the other Conduits, Altan possesses the inability to die. And even if their Conduit Soul shatters, they will simply be reborn elsewhere, their soul coming back together, and in a safe place, until he returns back to life again. This is due to both of the parents being gods, having the power to come back and revive themselves, and due to being the Conduit of Rebirth, Altan is unable to die, making them a really difficult Conduit to destroy.

Ungrudging Strength: For a very young child, Altan is extremely strong, being able to hold up a mountain with their barehands when he was 8 years old. However, their strength has not been grown to the full extent, and must grow up to their late 20s, for their strength to be at their fullest potential.

Trident: Taught by their stepfather, King Asgore, Altan can summon a trident to be used in melee combat. He can use it to force opponents back, to thrust, or to channel their fire manipulation through the 3 points of the Trident.

Scythes: Altan, having been given scythes but his father, is able to train with them. But they do not possess the power to Reap Souls. However, they can extend the chain and are just as sharp as Reaper's Scythes.

Relationships:

Reaper!Toriel: Altan's mother, Toriel loves her child very deeply, and taught her the beauty and importance of life, as well as teaching him emotions, such as kindness, happiness, and joy. Because of this, Altan loves their mother very much, and would do anything to make her happy.

Reaper!Sans: Altan's Father, Sans cares a lot for his son, but is not that responsible. Regardless, he shows Altan the concepts of Death, and how important it is alongside Life. Due to how much of a fun-loving god that Reaper is, Altan loves their father with all their Soul.

Reaper!Papyrus: The Uncle of Altan, Papyrus loves his nephew, and always makes him food, and haves fun with Altan, much to Altan's happiness, as Papyrus always knows how to make someone smile very happily.

Reaper!Gaster: Although Altan has never seen Gaster, their grandfather, Sans, had talked about him from time to time, and admits that he is a very nice father to be with, although he can be a little bit scary for Sans. Altan would like to meet him, and Reaper!Sans is currently finding a way to try and bring Gaster back.

Reaper!Undyne: Due to respecting the Goddess of Life, Undyne, the Goddess of War, helps Altan in combat, and treats them very nicely, even though she's a little bit harsh in her training.

Reaper!Asgore: While Asgore knows of Toriel's affair with Sans, Asgore treats Altan like a second son, just in the same way as Asgore was to his first son, Asriel. Altan, in return, loves their stepfather, and always enjoys having tea with him.

Reaper!Chara: Chara has tried many times to get close to Altan, but having heard of what Chara had done through his father, Sans, they always teleports away from Chara, and Sans would react violently to Chara, who would flee, due to Sans now being much more stronger than Chara.

Conduit of Death: Due to being the child of Toriel, and by extension, the Conduit of Life, the Conduit of Death has a soft spot for Altan, and treats them like his own child. Altan, while a bit confused, is okay with it, as Altan sees the Conduit of Death as their second father, whenever Reaper is away.

Conduit of Life: Due to her being dead, Altan has never met the Conduit of Life, and is only told of her existence by the Conduit of Death. Altan really wished that they would get to meet her.

Geno: Reaper's old crush, Geno sometimes takes over as the parent in Reaper's place, and he will act in a firm, but very caring way, and teaches Altan how to cook and sew, as well as how to fight against an enemy.

Error404: Altan has been watched and spied on by Error404, who is very interested in using Altan for his possible plan in trying to resurrect Alphatale, but decides not to see them, as to not have Reaper notice him.

Alpha!Sans: Due to Altan being able to see ghosts, he is able to see Alpha. Determined not to act cruel, as he did with Ink, Alpha goes in the presence of Altan, and became his first friend, when they had no friends to be with, sometimes acting as his talking companion, when he needs advice, should the advice of both of their parents do not really benefit Altan.

Ink: Ink has nearly tried to get to Altan once, but Reaper and the Conduit of Death stopped this and beats Ink down, before threatening to not go near Altan again. Despite this, Ink still tries to get to them whenever he has the chance.

Error: The Destroyer has a strange soft spot for Altan, and even acts as their caretaker whenever both his mother and father are away, so that Altan will be protected from Ink. Error would often do puppet shows for Altan to be entertained for, or he could take Altan to Outertale to see the stars.

CORE!Frisk: Due to Frisk being mentally a child like Altan, they both get along very well, and Altan even likes to hang out with them. CORE!Frisk, after asking Sans and Toriel, is allowed to bring Altan to the Omega Timeline, where they can make new friends.

Goth: A child from a version of Reaper!Sans and Geno!Sans of a different Multiverse, both Goth and Altan get along, though Altan really disapproves the way that Goth makes fun at how other people suffer. Nevertheless, they loves their alternate multiverse half-brother. The 2 alternate multiverse siblings met in the Omega Timeline.

Notes:

Altan is the first Conduit to be born from 2 Vessels of the actual Conduits.

Altan could potentially grown even stronger than the Conduit of Death.

As they have some personality that is based on the Conduit of Life, the Conduit of Death oftentimes sees Life within Altan.

Altan can get stronger by absorbing Souls, regardless if they are pure or corrupted.

It is unknown if Altan will be part of the cycle when they are old enough, but Reaper does not want that to happen to Altan.

Indirectly, Altan is the child of both the Conduit of Life and the Conduit of Death. So, in a way, the Conduit of Death got what he wanted, even if he does not realize it.

The other Conduits are unaware of Altan's existence, and the Conduit of Death, fearing for Altan's life, decides to try and hide their existence, securely.
