It's awkward silence mostly. Neither of us know where to start, so I try to initiate it.

"I saw your ribbon" I say, with a light teasing tone.

"Ribbon?"

I smirk, "On the tree"

She flushes noticeably, her entire face turning red, "You saw that?!"

She starts playfully hitting me, hiding her face, "You weren't supposed to see that!"

I grab her wrists, pulling her to me, her face buried in my chest, "Did you mean it though?"

A silence passes between us.

Dammit Cheongsan, you shouldn't have ruined the moment!

She finally speaks, "Yes"

Letting go of her wrists, I back up slightly, placing my hands on her shoulders and bending my knees slightly to reach her height.

"You really mean it? Not just in a friendly way?" 

"Yes"

I rest my forehead on her shoulder, "You have no idea how happy I am"

She pushes me away and pulls me in for another proper hug, "And you have no idea how happy I am that you're back. I never forgot about you"

Onjo reaches into her pocket and pulls out a folded, maroon piece of fabric with embroidered words on it. 

My nametag.

"I hope you don't mind, but I'm keeping this with me now" she smiles teasingly and continues, "It's fine if you don't have mine anymore, it was probably burned, right?"

I grin, pulling her nametag out of my pocket and revealing it to her, "It was the first thing I looked for when I woke up"

Her eyes start to well up at that.

"I'm sorry Cheongsan" she whispers.

"For what?"

"I'm sorry for not coming back for you sooner"

"It's oka-"

"I'm sorry for not looking for you hard enough"

She continues, "And...I'm sorry I realized I loved you so late"

She pulls me in and our lips touch, gently moving together in the place I confessed months months ago, with each other's maroon nametags in our pockets.

We never forgot about each other.
