(Bonnie's view)
My aunt didn't come to pick me up. Levi did. When I recognized in his beat up old truck pull up to the curb and him come out grab my bag and me and shove us into the car. I knew I was in trouble.
"Hey love, how's it been?"
I stare out the window.
"I asked you a question." he says grabbing my wrists tightly. He grabs my face and pulls it near his so we make eye contact. He smells like alcohol.
I pull away from his grasp.
"Fine Levi... Can you just take me to your house now? I don't have enough money to go home right now."
"You could earn some."
"That's what I'm planning to do..."
He laughs. "That's not what I mean."
"What do you mean then?..."
He twirls my recently dyed purple hair with his index finger. He looks at me with his bright blue eyes through his black hair. "Oh... You'll see"
He drives to his beaten down apartment. I remember almost everything about it.
"So you wanna make money fast, right?"
"Well yah, I want to go home."
"Good." He grabs my wrist tightly and brings me to his room. He pushes me on the bed and locks the door. I'm speechless.
"Levi... I didn't mean..."
"Shhh" he said. I look out he window planning my escape. He grabs me and pulls me onto him.
"LEVI! LET ME GO!"
He pulls off my shirt and kisses my neck. He pulls me close to him.
"LEVI!!!!"
"DAMMIT BONNIE JUST SHUT UP!"
I groan with disgust.
"Levi... Please sto-"
"SHUTUP! You broke my heart!!!"
That's all I wish to remember from here on.
I woke up on his bed extremely tired. He wasn't in the room. I opened my suitcase but it had been emptied.
"Great" I whispered. I grabbed his nicest shirt and put it on. I put on his jeans and brushed my hair back. Since we used to date I know where his secret stash of money was. I grabbed half of it and stuck it in my pocket. I put a couple of his band T-shirts and stuck it in his suitcase. Then I grabbed his skinny jeans and shoved them in the suitcase too. I opened the window quietly and climbed out with the suitcase. I climbed down the ladder that lead from his window.
"Bonnie?" He said from his room. "God dammit!" He looked out his window. "HEY! Where do you think you're going!?" I climbed down faster and Levi was started to climb down too. I came down to the pavement and put up the hitch hiker thumb. An old couple let me in.
"Start the car" I said and they did. Levi got down to the pavement. "HEY BONNIE WAIT!"
"Drive!" I shouted at the old people. They drove away leaving Levi in the dust. I checked my phone and a text from Alex came up.
"Bonnie I..." He texted.
"I love you." I didn't want to hear what he had to say. I was already in a bad mood.
"I love you too."
Then I remembered he hated me. I told the old people to go to the airport. I got out of the car and waved them goodbye. I went inside and bought a ticket for Tennessee. I sat in the waiting room and checked my texts again. It was Alex.
"I have something to tell you."
"Me too. I'll tell you in Tennessee." Then I got on the plane and went home.
