When I opened my eyes I found my vision tilted sideways, my cheek was gently resting on a shoulder. I turned and was met with soft green eyes, I looked away after I realized that it was Five. Not only did I realize that but he was leaning on the side of the car door with his arm around me. I looked at my hand and saw that it was clutching his jacket tightly, I sat up and looked away from him and made myself look straight ahead.
"Good timing, we're here." Five said as he opened the car door
It was late and the moon was already up, I lost balance a tiny bit but eventually I got my head in the game and followed Five and Vanya, as we were heading inside I started to wanna think of what to say to Vanya again.
"So V-"
Vanyas head turned to me and she looked at me confused
"Why do you keep calling em V?" She asked me with a confused tone
"Well- it's your nickname, I've called you that ever since we were kids." I explained to her
She did a little 'oh' and then smiled at me
"I like it, N/N."

I smiled widely and continued to walk in. The place was filled with yelling and older sweaty men, I had to cover my ears a bit cause they were yelling so loud. We got to a small little area where we could watch what was happening in the centre of the room, a big blonde, and hairy man was fighting.
My eyes widened as I realized who it was...
"Luther." I whispered under my breath
The guy he was fighting fell back to the wall, Luthers eyes turned into sadness as he went still and stood there while the guy started punching him.
With each sound of the punch I would flinch, hating the sound of my brother getting beaten up, I wanted to just jump into the ring but I knew it wouldn't do anything. Luther was in another world and nothing could bring him back yet. Everyone started to yell in confusion as he continued to be beaten.
"Look, he's pummelling him." Vanya stated with concern in her voice
Luther began to instruct the guy to hit him again, he was thrown to the wall right in front of us. We could only watch in fear.
"Oh, my God, Luther." Vanya said
"Why isn't he fighting back?" Five asked
I stared speechless, close to tears, and digging my teeth into my finger. As all this happened I had to step out for a second, my emotions almost getting the better of me.
Suddenly it felt as if something burning had just landed on me, my hands couldn't move as I leaned back onto the wall, tears falling down my face.
"What's happening to me?" I questioned
(Don't worry guys, this story I'm gonna actually talk about what's going on with her.)
I made my way quickly back to Five and Vanya, just in time to see my brother hit the ground. And everyones booing filled my ears.
"Holy shit." I said to myself.
I ran up to Five and Vanya and quickly told them that I'll be in the car, my head started to beat like there was no tomorrow. I sat in the car and rested my eyes for a second.
"Dad?"
I woke up and saw that my surroundings where covered in mirrors.
"Mom?"
I looked everywhere but I couldn't find a door.
"ANYBODY!!"
"Now now now, Number Eight. You have been placed in this chamber to work on your invisibility." Dads voice came on a speaker.
"You will remain here until you have learned to master your invisibility."
I spent every waking hour trying my best to control it so I could get out of there but I somehow couldn't.
Over time it was like more and more were placed and eventually I just had a small circle in the middle. I couldn't look at me reflection, all I could see was a useless little girl.
"LET ME OUT!!" I screamed as I started to bang on the mirrors
"Number Eight, do not do that." Dads voice warned
I kept doing it until the mirror finally shattered, I was on the floor in tears and I had a tiny cut from the glass.
I shot up panting, the sky was daylight and the car was parked outside of a building.
"Nice of you to finally join the land of the awake." Five said as he leaned on the car outside
I rubbed my eyes and got out.
"Where are we?" I asked
"Outside Luthers apartment." Five answered
I stood beside him and yawned a bit.
"What was your dream about? You look pale." Five asked me
I couldn't stop myself from keeping it in, I finally let out what that room really was.
"Do you remember the night where we got drunk, I mentioned a room of mirrors. Well, no one actually knows what happened in them." I took in a breath and started
"My powers, they barely showed up after you left. My mind wasn't in the right place so I wasn't able to focus, in return Dad locked me in a room full of mirrors for two weeks. Each time I was unsuccessful the old mad would add a new row of mirrors until I was surrounded. I remember each day that passed, I kept having to look at a mirror and see what I've become. I saw nothing but a failure." I let out everything as I looked off to the floor.
I could feel his eyes on me, he then looked straight ahead and gave a confused look.
"Is there anything else you haven't told me?" He asked me as he turned his body so he was facing my direction
I nodded and almost let a tear fall.
"Somethings wrong with me. I've been able to do this for awhile, I just kept avoiding it. I'm able to feel the same pain as others. I could feel lost, and confused when you felt those feelings, then when Klaus was kidnapped I could feel what was happening, I'm scared. I don't know what's happening to me." I started to cry a bit as I sat on the floor
Five kneeled beside me and was about to talk until I cut him off.
"Also, I felt something yesterday, I don't think us five are the only ones who're close by. I felt something happen but I don't know what it was. I'm just so confused." I put my head in my knees and tried to catch my breath.
I felt a hand grab my cheek and turn it.
"I don't know what's happening to you, but it seems like the old man didn't tell you everything you needed to know. But that doesn't mean somethings wrong with you, you're still you, you're still the stubborn idiot I've known all my life." Five told me with a serious look
I wiped my eyes and smiled at him, he angled my head down and kissed the top of my head.
I got up and walked up the the phone booth so I could call Melly. The phone rang until I had to hang up, when I walked out the wall beside me had bricks tumble down it, I looked over at five with a shocked expression and saw that he was chuckling at where the wreckage came from, I was about to run up and question what that was but a distressed Vanya came speed beside me.
"Well, that clearly went well. Your ready to go?" Five asked her with his jerky tone again
"I'm going back to the farm." Vanya told us
Five ran up beside her trying to catch up with her speed.
"Hey. Unacceptable Vanya. Reminder we need to stick together." Five tried to explain
"Oh, why, so I don't end the world again?" Vanya asked sarcastically as she turned to face him while opening the car door
Five scoffed and looked back at the window saying something under his breath.
"Were you even gonna tell me?" She asked angrily
I already could sense that snarky comments were gonna be said.
"You know what? In my defence, no. All right. And can you blame me? When you... you get angry shit blows up." Five horribly explained to her
"Great. Are there any other family detects you failed to mention?" Vanya asked before getting into the car
"A boatload, Vanya, which I don't have the luxury of sharing them with the-" He stopped and knocked on the window
Vanya reluctantly rolled them down with a pissed off expression.
"The clock is ticking on doomsday. Just tell me that when I need you, you'll be ready."
Vanya looks him dead in the eyes like she wanted to murder him.
"I can't help you, Five. I don't even know who I am." Vanya stated as she started the car
"You're our sister. And I member of the Umbrella Academy. Like it or not, that's who you are." Five told her
"Look, that's who I was, okay? New timeline new me." Vanya drove off after that
"No, that's not how it work-"
I sighed and started to slightly pace in circles
"Well that went well." I sarcastically said
Five turned and started walking
"Wonder if it's too late to be in-adopted." Five said
I chuckled and followed him with my hands behind my back.
