A/N Sorry I was gone for a while

Jade's POV

I told Raja about my side of the story and how David resembled my biological father when he was yelling at me.

"I understand why you wanted to get away as fast as possible." Raja says while rubbing the back of my hand with her thumb.

"Do you think you want to go back?" When she asked this question I looked down to the ground. Of course I want to go back to David, but a part of me is still afraid.

Before I could answer, Raja suggested this: " How about we go to the last few hours of Drag Con together to take your mind off things. I know you are a little upset right now, so a distraction would be good before we go back to your Dad." I really liked this suggestion and eagerly nodded.

"Okay then, let's go." Raja giggled and helped me up from the ground.

Not letting go of my hand, she and I walked along the street and in through the door to Drag Con.

Once we reached the hall, Miz Cracker immediately recognised us and waved. I met her yesterday and we talked a lot at her booth. Behind her were Aquaria, Monet and Yuhua.

"Hey New York Queens!" Raja greeted them and I did too.

"Cracker told me all about you." Aquaria said while giving my cheek a playful squeeze. "You are such a cutie." She squealed.

I couldn't help blush at her comment. I wish I could reply back as cheerful as she did, but I was still taken back by the events of earlier that it was hard for me to let loose. Raja feels me tense up and takes hold of both my shoulders, she looks at me reassuringly.

"You okay?" She asks.

I take a deep breath and nod. "I just need to calm down a little."

I look back at the girls who shoot Raja a confusing look. This makes me blush even harder, out of embarrassment because they must think I'm some kind of crazy person.

I decide to be completely honest because that is usually the best thing to do. So before Raja can tell them that I just needed a moment, I state: "Sorry guys, some stuff happened this morning and I'm still a little shaken by it. Also, I got anxiety, so please don't think I don't want to talk, I'm just a little nervous." Raja looks down at me with a proud smile, like she wanted to say "good job for telling them how you feel." This alone made me feel more confident.

"Aww it's okay baby, we understand." Yuhua smiles and so do the rest.

"Yeah, I know how much anxiety can suck." Cracker says and takes hold of my hand. "But that is why it is so great to have friends who are there for you." She smiles and I grin back at her with tears welling in my eyes.

How did I get so lucky? I think to myself.

"Awh don't cry, come here." Aquaria opens her arms for me to walk into. I do and she embraces me tightly. Suddenly I feel more arms wrap around me and notice all the other girls have joined up into one big group huddle.

"We love you." Monet says, before we all break the hug.

"Thanks guys." I wipe the tears away and smile.

"Now let's have some fun!" Raja yells and we all cheer in agreement.

Together as one big group we walk around the hall of Drag Con, meeting queens and fans, watching panels and just enjoying the whole day.

I had so much fun I completely forgot about anything negative that happened today. That was until the con ended and we headed for the hotel. We had said our goodbyes to the girls who were headed to either the airport or back to their hotels. Raja was in the same hotel as me, so we walked into the lobby together

Raja must have felt me tense up again because she pulled me aside the same way she did at the Drag Con entrance.

"You will be okay, I'm gonna be there the whole time with you." She reassured while looking me in the eyes. I nodded and gulped, there was no way I could completely calm down right now, but Raja did manage to stop me from having a panic attack.

We approached the door and I opened it with my Keycard.

Raja's POV

Immediately Raven sprung up from the bed when he saw Jade and practically tackled the girl with a hug.

"I missed you so much." She sobbed.

I could tell Jade was also crying by the way her hand tightened around mine and was slightly shaking.

We all walked towards the bed and Jade sat down, still in Raven's tight embrace. I knew she would never want to let go of her again if she had the choice.

Jade ended up explaining everything to Raven and how her yelling created flashbacks of her biological dad when he used to beat her.

"I'm so sorry baby. I completely lost it because I was just so heartbroken to see you hurt." Raven began crying again and pulled Jade onto her lap.

"It's okay, at least now I got to tell you about what my father used to do..." She looked down and a tear slipped from her eye. Raven looked up at her with a completely tear stained face and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

"I would never hurt you." She promised.
