MONOCEROS CELI, ACT I, PART III

"What the..." Paimon skimmed through the documents which made you curious about what did Scara gave you. "Y/N, this whole documentations are for you to freely roam in Inazuma. Not only that you got a house there. Ohh... There's a note here, it says... Now I don't owe you anything... You made a Harbinger owe to you?" She asked as you were quite surprised, to say the least when you heard about this. Now, there's nothing noteworthy to make him owe you... What exactly did you do for him to give this again?

You just shrugged but you are not going to reject free stuff especially it will make your whole journey to Inazuma smoother. "Anyways, Teucer. Do you want to go to a toy store?" You asked him, giving him a smile as he nodded in excitement before you made your way to the famous toy store.

The moment you arrived, Teucer seems to be puzzled the moment his eyes laid on the kites. "Eh? What are those super-colorful winged things?" He questioned in which Paimon briefly explained to him about the kites. He began to take a closer look at the kites with him having to go on his tiptoes to see the kite on the table. 

Granny Shan began to give him a friendly smile as she greeted him, "Hello there, dear! You look like you've come a very long way. Let granny guess — from what you're wearing, I would say... Snezhnaya?" She questioned as Teucer giggled and nodded.

"That's right. How do you play with these kite things, Granny?" The old lady began to explain how kites are played in the simplest form which of course immediately got Teucer's interest in the kite. "Wow... that's amazing. Do you have any Mr. Cyclops ones?" He questioned which confused the Granny. "I wanna fly Mr. Cyclops high into the sky so all the kids can get to know him!" He smiled which made Granny Shan gave in.

"Well, I can do custom builds, but I'll need some amount of reference material..." You immediately took out your phone and opened your gallery to a cute chibi Ruin Guard picture.

"Here, this should be fine, right?" She inspected the picture before nodding. She warned you that the custom build is going to be expensive though, Childe gave you roughly 35k of Mora so you should settle. You were about to pay before Paimon tugged your shirt.

"Throwing money around willy-nilly is, y'know, kinda irresponsible..." Paimon whispered as you turned to her and smile mischievously, You told her what your plan was before she nodded in agreement. "Right, right. That would actually make us earned a lot of money." She stated before you paid the kites at full price.

"This price is fair. Well then, I'll get that custom order done for you." Teucer began to cheer as you and Paimon thanked her for the work. "Come by and pick it up by later around an hour or so." She stated as you looked at Teucer.

"Wanna go and eat while we wait for the kite to be ready?" You asked Teucer but this certainly caught Paimon's attention instead as she drooled at the thought of eating some delicious food that could fit in her stomachs.

Teucer thought for a while if he wanted to eat but his stomach already answered for him. You chuckled and looked up ahead. "Alright, let us go and eat then. To Wanmin Restaurant we go." You stated as you guys made your way to Wanmin Restaurant which was literally 5 minutes away.

Tou three arrived before Chef Mao welcome you guys with a friendly smile. "Hello! Welcome! Table for three?" You nodded as you guys were escorted to your tables but Teucer doesn't really seem to be doing well.

He exhaled as his face scrunched. "Whew, this restaurant has a really... choking smell..." He stated as Chef Mao gave him a confused look before he realized what he meant by the choking smell. He also explained to Teucer the source of the smell as he frowned to hear the word spicy. "Spicy chili? But I... can't eat spicy food."

"Ah, what a pity. A person who can't eat spicy food misses out on half of life's joys." Chef Mao stated and you wholeheartedly agree with this fact. Sometimes, to release anger, spicy food might just be the one you need though Paimon really can't see much of the appeal of how spicy food gave so many joys because all foods gave her all sorts of joys.

"You can't say that if you haven't tried eating one in Liyue. How about this, you can have your own chosen food and you can have a bit of mine for the spicy food? We can have some dessert to go with after this. One Liyue famous dessert and my specialty dessert. What you say?" You asked as he looked at you with a feeling that you might just be right about the whole thing and well, he can't turn down dessert.

"Deal!" He said cheerfully before he explained to Chef Mao of his dish. "I want my meals to have lots and lots of sugar, and the oil has to be extra virgin vegetable oil." Paimon frowned at his taste and is really worried that Wanmin Restaurant might not be perfect for him.

"Will that be all? Any more special requests?" He asked as Paimon looked quite shocked and was about to ask Chef Mao if that was okay but you interrupted her.

"Ooh, I would like to have Jueyen Gouba but make it 3x spicier than you would usually do and a Black-Back Perched Stew less spicy with noodles to go with it. Make it a small bowl also along with three plates of Almond Tofu. Paimon, you are not ordering?" You asked and you reminded her that you were one of the people that alters orders most of the orders here with a huge amount of chilies in your dish.

She also began to order also along with her few usual orders before Chef Mao began to work on it. "...Mr. Nice Guy, are you sure you won't get stomachache eating that much spicy food?" Teucer wore a worried look on his face as soon as he heard the things you ordered.

"You'll be surprised that his stomach and tongue find what Liyue people would find it too spicy as normal." You just chuckled nervously since you can't really escape your addiction to spicy food. You ought that the drinks in Wanmin Restaurant might not suit him so you gave him a box of grape juice that you didn't remember having or buying but might as well give him. You guys had a few conversations about food before enjoying a nice meal together as soon as the food arrives.

"Blergh, your food was a little... too sweet. Paimon feels a little sick..." She said before finishing her plate of Almond Tofu to wash off the sweetness with the salty of the tofu. Teucer tilted his head in confusion while taking another bite of the Almond Tofu.

"I thought it was just right! Almost exactly like how sister Tonia makes it! Also, it is official that I can't eat spicy food at all." He recalled the spiciness that punched his taste buds as you just murmured "weak" underneath your breath.

"Well, I don't think the kite is done so we should go around for a walk, where do you want to go next now Teucer?" You asked him before he thought for a while before remembering about something.

"The wharf! I was so caught up looking for my brother when I first got here that I didn't get a good look around." He said as Paimon nodded in agreement about it.

"Good idea. The hustle and bustle at the wharf is a specialty of Liyue Harbor too." You guys made your way to the wharf which was really a few minutes walks away. The moment you guys arrived at the area, you could see a lot of crowds walking around the place which seems to blow Teucer's mind.

"Wow, this place is huge! And there are so many people! Are the waves here always like this? Don't they ever freeze?" He asked and took a closer look to see the waves.

"Well, you probably noticed that the weather here is humid than Snezhnaya so of course, they don't freeze." You explained as you smiled. "You can't tell me that the sound of waves splashing here doesn't sound relaxing to you." You said as he took some time to focus on trying to listen to the waves and block out the noise from the crowds and smiled to himself.

"It is nice... I wish Sister Tonia, Brother Anthon, and Brother Ajax were here to listen to this and enjoying this as well." He said, looking at the ocean before noticing the anchor on the dock. Paimon and you were equally surprised to hear Childe's real name coming from his mouth. "Hey, what's that big metal hook over there? I wanna see!" He exclaimed and ran off to check it out.

You were quite tired if you have to say. You went to the anchor and explain the function before he told you that Childe would give him giant toys for his birthday before he ran off to the fish stall just to mock that Snezhnayan's fishes are much larger than the one in Liyue. Now, he had dragged you to see the boats but surprisingly he is quite silent while he was staring at the boats.

"What's wrong, Teucer? Are you tired? You don't seem so happy." Paimon began to look at him in worry before he turned to you. 

"I miss my brother..." He trailed off, looking quite sad as Paimon furrowed her eyebrows but his gaze was on you. "Take me to see my brother! I don't want to play anymore!" He demanded, stomping his foot as you sighed.

"Alright, alright but we need to fetch your kite before seeing him, okay? Want me to carry you as well when we are going there? It is very far." You stated as he nodded, opened his arm widely and you immediately carried him in your arms before smiling widely. "Onwards, we shall meet your brother!" You pointed as you made your way there.

I am just having a terrible mood of writing but at the same time I am tired so... umm have unedited chapter. Also I was not expecting people to really like my late night drawing of Scara on last chapter because that was sudden sjfeuhr- Anyways, I shall offer you an offering of fanart you guys might liked from my collections lmao.
