"Time to play a game!" Caine did a flip in the air. Everyone was staring at him, Zooble and Jax crossed their arms, Gangle (comedy mask) and Ragatha exchanged glances, Kinger's eyes widened out of fear, and Pomni was shaking. Y/n couldn't focus on anything, her mind was occupied with what happened yesterday in her room.

"Today's game is Hide and Seek! One person will seek, while the others hide!"

"What happens if the seeker finds a hidden person!" Bubble appeared.

"Then both will seek! If the seekers finds a hider, the hider will now seek! Making the game increasingly harder!"

"What about the winner?"

"Oh ho ho, there's no winners! You all have to play the game until the last person is found!"

"Who is going to be the seeker?" Bubble chimed.

Caine glanced at everyone, then pointed his cane.

"Pomni!"

"Oh god." She put her hands on her hat in distressed.

"Have fun!" Caine and Bubble disappeared.

"I'm not playing this stupid game." Zooble deadpanned.

"Oh come on! I think it'll be fun!" Ragatha beamed.

Zooble sighed, "Fine. Pomni make sure to find me first so I can leave."

"I think you have to seek once you're found." Gangle recited, which made Zooble roll her eyes.

Pomni spoke up, "Um..okay..well I guess I'll count to 30 while everyone else hides...does that sound good?"

"Sounds good to me." Jax replied, looking over at Y/n who was still keeping her eyes away from him.

"I'm going to go count now." Pomni turned around and put her gloved hands over her eyes and began to count.

Everyone else hurriedly left except for Jax and Y/n.

"8,9,10"

Y/n started running, she didn't want to play the game but she also didn't want to be near Jax. That whole situation from yesterday embarrassed her and she cringes whenever she gets reminded of it.

Jax, however, wasn't embarrassed by it. In fact he's been thinking about it all last night and current. He didn't get a good look of her, just the side of her body, but he wanted to see more. For some reason, Y/n caught his eye. Maybe because she's the only human looking that he finds attractive (sorry Pomni) or maybe she's the only one whose personality he likes. Before Y/n arrived, Jax coped with the idea that he can't leave by being a nuisance to everyone, a simple distraction, but now, he's too focused on getting closer to Y/n, mentally and physically.

Y/n escaped the tent and started running outside, she kept turning her head to see if Jax is following her.

I wonder if I can mime a skate board?

She jumped on an imaginary skateboard and pushed off with her foot, and thank god to her she was riding a f^€||ng skateboard.

Holy sh|t this is fun as f^€| She smiled.

She kept going faster and faster, getting farther and farther away from Pomni. She didn't know where she was going, her mind was too occupied with riding a fake skateboard.

In the horizon she saw a white, almost glitchy sky. Before she could react the ground disappeared and she got engulfed by the white, glitchy sky. Caine forgot to tell her about the void, and what it might do to her if she goes in there. So Y/n didn't know any better to stop and prevent herself from getting stuck.

The moment she got sucked in she felt herself stop breathing. She lost all train of thought and feelings. The white glitchy sky looked like a bad acid trip, surrounding her with intense visuals. She couldn't move, couldn't talk, it was like she astral projected out of her body and couldn't do anything. But for the first time in her life, she felt relieved.

Either everyone sucked hiding or Pomni is really good at seeking. She already found Zooble, (who was hiding in her room) Gangle (hiding behind the theater curtains) Ragatha (hiding in the fairgrounds) and then Kinger, who was hiding in his fort somewhere in the tent.

"Is Jax and Y/n even playing?" Kinger questioned.

"I wasn't playing and Pomni still found me." Zooble grumbled.

"Found Jax." Kinger pointed up at the ferris wheel. At the very top they can see Jax's rabbit ears poking up. "Jax!" Kinger yelled.

Jax groaned and stood up, parkoured out of the ferris wheel and landed like a gymnast. "You found me." He smirked. His smile dropped once he saw that they have a missing person. "Didn't find Y/n?"

"I kinda thought she would be with you." Zooble replied.

"Why?"

"You two are always together." She shrugged.

Ragatha chimes in, "Well let's keep looking! She's actually really good at this game. I mean it does make sense because she can't make any noises."

Jax relaxed his eye lids and a cheeky smile appeared on his face. Good to know.

The six searched for what it seemed like hours. They searched the tent again, Jax's man cave, Y/n's room, the grounds, and even the padded room. But Y/n was nowhere to be found.

"I'm done playing." He wanted to find Y/n on his own. Jax started to walk off but Ragatha caught him.

"You're not going to help us?"

"I'm sure you guys can find Y/n without me." He put one hand on his hip.

"If Jax isn't playing I'm not going to play either." Zooble seconded.

"Oh come on! What if Y/n is stuck?" Ragatha argued, which got Jax's attention. "You know...what if she accidentally went to the void?" Her voice shook.

Everyone had wide eyes. Pomni began to panic since she knows what's out there. "We need to get Caine."

"How do you know she's in the void?" Jax walked closer to the group. "Wouldn't Caine figure it out by now?"

"I don't know...I'm sure he would." Ragatha started to chew on her "nails."

"Actually I don't think he would notice." Kinger said, "She can do imaginary things, she can't make any noise."

"Kinger get to the point." Zooble groaned.

"She doesn't technically exist. In the real world mimes does things that don't exist, getting stuck in an invisible box, walking down invisible stairs, and when they're not miming they can talk. But in our world, Y/n literally is a mime. She physically can't speak or make any noise, and she can do anything that's imaginary. I don't think Caine's wacky watch can detect if Y/n went to the void."

Everyone was silent, until Jax spoke up. "That was the smartest thing you've ever said." He joked. But deep down Jax is actually worried that Y/n might be in the void, and for how long?

"We need to get Caine." Pomni said. "Do you know where he's at?"

"Why is he never here when we need him?" Zooble complained.

As if Caine read their minds he appeared. "Did you guys find everyone? Wait where's Y/n?"

"Probably the void." Jax crossed his arms.

"What! That can't be, my wacky watch doesn't say anything about that."

"What about your all seeing eyes?" Gangle advised.

"Frankly I can't see Y/n."

"Can you check the void? We searched everywhere for her and she might be there." Ragatha pleaded.

"Sure thing!" With a snap of a finger he disappeared and reappeared in the void. He saw Y/n staring at nothing, her eyes widened and her mouth opened a bit. He grabbed her and reappeared to where everyone else was at.

"Found her!" He bragged.

Everyone got closer to Y/n, kept saying her name but she won't answer.

"She got that 1000 yard stare." Jax snickered. F^€|, I hope she didn't get f^€|ed up back there.

"Y/n? Are you okay?" Ragatha rested her hand on Y/n's shoulder.

Y/n snapped back to reality, but didn't move a muscle. She saw everyone staring at her with worrisome, and could hear their voices but she didn't acknowledge them. The void made it easier for her to abstract. When she was down there, she felt relieved for the first time. It was a good feeling for her, everything washed away. The nightmare vague memories, the feelings, the emotions. She felt like she got a free sample of what life is like after abstraction. And now she's certain that she can abstract with no problem.
