Oh god what song is it gonna be.

Y/n has been here for 3 days, maybe 4, she lost count if she's being completely honest. Her nose wrinkled in disgust once the morning song, "I'm a Gummy Bear" started playing.

However, Y/n just stayed there with the oddly warm blankets on her body. She stared off to the plain black ceiling, and that's when she started thinking about Kaufmo and his reasoning for abstracting, which was that there's no way out of here, as in Digital Circus.

Y/n's reasoning was that she didn't want to be alive, period. But she doesn't know if it's going to work since she's not technically "crazy", just a tad bit suicidal. She tries to abstract once she gets some alone time, but again, doesn't work.

Is it because I'm not crazy or is it because something is holding me back. Maybe something is preventing me from giving up? But she didn't necessarily believe the 2nd and 3rd option.

The gummy bear song ended and started hearing the others walking down the hallway and talking. She listened closely for Jax's voice but she didn't hear it. Y/n's heart ached once she didn't hear his voice, she feels guilty and even sad that she pissed him of yesterday.

A hesitant knock was on the other side of the mime's door. Y/n looked at the door in confusion, Why would Jax knock? He has my key.

"Uh hello? Y/n?" Y/n felt disappointed once she heard Pomni's voice.

She got out of the bed and dragged her feet, opening the door to see Pomni with her wide red and blue eyes.

"Oh thank god you're okay, I was worried."

Y/n cocked her head.

"I didn't see you, that's all...Plus you're one of the ones that makes me feel okay..and not crazy." She laughed nervously.

Y/n gave her a comforting smile and shut her door, and then walked with the jester to do the theme song, again.

The theme song started playing, and Y/n was just planning on doing nothing again (she's actually surprised Caine hasn't made her do anything.)

Back on regular schedule, everyone gathered around the table again to eat digital sausage and bacon. Y/n sat down between Pomni and Zooble, and was waiting for Jax to sit across from her, like he always does.

But this time he sat far away from her. Y/n chewed on her lip. God why am I so upset over this? Get over it!

She debated about it for a minute or two, and then finally gave in. She grabbed her digital plate and walked over to sit across Jax. She didn't make any facial expression once she sat down, just continued to "eat" like nothing happened so she doesn't feel the embarrassment and the possible humbleness.

Jax glared at her, but soften his look. He slightly smiled to himself. "Did you get sad that I didn't sit across from you? You sure are clingy." He rested his arms on the table, giving her that same, cocky grin.

Y/n's lips curled into a small smile, flipping him off in a playful way.

"I take that as a yes."

Thank god he's not mad at me.

Caine appeared out of thin air, with Bubble floating beside of him.

"Alright everyone! Im going to be busy so today is going to be a free day! You can do anything! Just don't go to the void, or any exit sign."

"We're going on a date." Bubble stuck their tongue out.

"There's an exit!" Pomni screamed. Caine quickly disappeared with Bubble, which left Ragatha to calm Pomni down.

Y/n turned her attention back to Jax, then tapped his hand so he can pay attention to her.

"What?" He looked a tad annoyed.

Y/n shrugged her shoulders, made a X with her fingers, and used her fingers to make a walking motion, meaning "Why no exit?"

"Beats me. We all asked that same question." He stood up from his chair but leaned onto the table so he's closer to her, and talked in a low voice, "Let me guess, you want to leave?"

She inaudibly gulped and made a "somewhat" sign with her hand.

He sat back down in his seat with a thud. "Are you trying?" He looked doleful, afflicted.

Y/n felt uncomfortable, she just stared at him. Eventually she answered his question, she shook her head no, but Jax had a hunch that she's going to try it, or is already trying.

About a split second later she got up from her chair and started walking away but Jax grabbed her arm, "Follow me,"

Jax still had her arm in his hand, he didn't let go until they reached the hole that she originally fell in a couple of days ago.

He let go and turned around, giving her that same cheshire grin. "Go in."

Y/n rolled her eyes and was getting ready to jump in until she felt a push,

She mouthed, "Jax you b@$t3rd!" God I wish he could hear that.

She landed quietly, with Jax sliding down right behind her.

"Fun wasn't it?" He laughed.

Not really. She got up and dusted off her clothes, mocking a smile.

"Oh come on you loved it. If you didn't then why would you come down here?"

That f^€|!ng smile. Y/n's eyes rolled.

"Come on, let's play pool. I would make someone else play it with me but..I don't really like any of them. Plus I don't even think Zooble or Gangle can even play pool." He laughed to himself.

Y/n stood there awkwardly, she didn't know how to play. She knows the rules, get your balls in the hole, but she didn't know how to hold the cue sticks correctly.

Jax sat up the balls in the triangle order, and grabbed one cue stick, and then threw the other one to Y/n.

Thankfully she caught it and then walked over to the pool table, standing across from Jax.

"I'm going first. I can always put it in first try."

He leaned over and held the front end of the stick with his left hand, and his right was gripping the bottom end.

Since he's the one that's breaking the triangle shape, he didn't have to measure or anything, just hit the white ball. The ball hit the other ones, and a stripped one went in the corner hole. Jax smirked, walking over to where it would be an easy success for the white ball to hit a stripe. To Y/n's surprise, he was actually good. He hit every single ball until he missed one. So now he only has 3 balls left.

"The cue slipped, thats all." He huffed. "Anyway mime, your turn."

Y/n gave him a worrisome thumbs up and walked over to the white ball. She watched how he holds the stick and she definitely didn't want to ask for help.

She sighed and bent over like how he did, and held the cue stick. But it was hard for her to balance it. How the f^€| did he do this.

Y/n ended up hitting the green cloth instead of the white ball, she mentally face palmed. Jax was practically in tears. "How did you managed to do that?" Jax slapped his knee.

Y/n turned to him and shrugged her shoulders and pointed to the pool table.

Jax had to dramatically catch his breath. "Wait, you don't know how to hold it?"

A flush crept across her cheeks, shaking her head.

"Finnne, let me teach you." Jax dropped his cue stick and walked over to Y/n, awkwardly getting behind her.

"Basically you bend down to where your face is practically touching the rim of the table," He put his hands on her back, lightly forcing her to bend down. "Which one is your dominant hand?"

She lifted up her dominant hand, to which he grabbed and put it on the back end of the stick, his hand still on top of hers. "You're going to use this hand to push, and the other," her and his other hand was holding the front part of the stick, "hand is going to hold the stick so it's easier to line it up with the white ball."

Since they're both holding the stick and bent down, Y/n's @$$ was touching his groin.

That reminds me, I still need to check if I have t!ts and a p^$$¥.

Jax didn't realize the position that they're in until he felt her @$$ on him, he wasn't complaining, but he didn't meant for it to happen.

Y/n tried clearing her throat to make it not awkward. Well $h|t

"So once you measure it, you push the stick." Once the white ball started rolling they quickly got out of that position. The ball hit the red fully colored ball into the hole.

"Told you I can put it in first try." He winked.

Y/n flipped him off and leaned against the wall. "You have to go again." He put one hand on his hip.

She rolled her eyes and got in that position again, hitting the white ball to the full colored one but she missed the hole.

The two went at it for some time. "So," Jax started, "Do you remember anything from your past?"

She wasn't expecting that question, but Jax asked that so he can see if there's a reason as to why she want to abstract, even if he doesn't exactly know if she's going to or not. For some reason he's worried that she is. Y/n answered "somewhat" with her hand.

"Like what?"

Y/n rolled her eyes and pointed to her mouth.

"Charades? I'm also pretty good at it." He grinned.

She put her cue stick down and thought about it, she put her hands up and made a mouth with her fingers, making both hands "yell" at each other.

"Uhhh people yelling?"

She nodded.

"Parents?"

She shrugged, but she's thinking that's what might be it. She then did the "mime" cry where they ball their fist and make a "boo-hoo" motion.

"You were a cry baby?"

She glared at him, but then nodded. In her past, she also felt scared and uneasy, so she hugged herself and shivered.

"You were cold all the time?"

This @$$hole.

She did it again, then added the yelling, then crying.

"Oh, scared?"

She stopped what she was doing and nodded her head, grabbing the cue stick again.

"You must remember a lot because I barely remember what my life was like."

She shook her head and point to her temple.

"The emotions of your past?" He grabbed his cue stick as well.

Y/n nodded as she got in the position again to hit the balls, in which she still didn't succeed.

Jax focused on her, not on her form of playing pool, but focused more on her face. Her lips trembled a bit, and her blinking increased like she was trying to hold back tears.

In her past, (as in pre circus) she never talked about it to anyone, and now she regrets not telling anyone because A: she doesn't remember the exact events, and B: she can't talk anymore. Whenever she "told" Jax, she got that reminder again.

Jax knew that he may or may not have made her upset about doing charades of her past, but in his defense, he told himself  "She could've said no." But deep down he feels guilty about it. He wanted to comfort her, but didn't know how. He never comforted anyone in his life. Jax doesn't even know why he feels like this towards her.

Jax got up since it was his turn to play, and he ended up missing a perfect shot because he wasn't focused on the pool game. After that weak shot, he walked over to her and patted her back once or twice, "There, there."

Y/n slowly looked up at him and tried not to laugh, but she ended up silently laughing.

"I can't tell if you're laughing or crying." He joked, he can see her full smile, chest moving like how a normal person would laugh. He never saw her laugh until now, so now he's hoping that she won't try to abstract.
