You waited on the couch in Zim's base for the Irken to finish his call with some of the other aliens that were to join his mission. Gir jumped on the couch, placing a large container filled to the brim with popcorn between you. Grabbing a handful, you turned on your favorite show. Gir squealed in delight, approving of your choice of entertainment.
Dib and Gaz walked through the door. It was a good thing Zim wasn't in the room. Even though he had aligned himself with the Membranes, it still would have angered him to see that Gir forgot to lock the doors again. You scooted over to make room for the siblings on the large sofa.
"Ooh, I love this show." Dib announced as he stole some of your popcorn.
Gaz snickered to herself. "You watch something besides that dumb mystery solving show about vampire bees?"
"It's not a dumb show!" He argued. "And they haven't covered the bees yet. I'm waiting for them to respond to my fan letters with the evidence that I was bitten by a vampire bee!"
You have heard of a lot of weird things in your lifetime, but this might be at the top. "Did you just say vampire bees? Maybe you just got stung by a bee?"
"No, it was a vampire bee." He motioned to the two bite marks on the side of his neck. "There's two identical marks and I've been craving a lot of honey. It's not a coincidence!"
"Maybe you just really like honey, Dib. And maybe you got stung by two bees. I just don't see how a bee could be a vampire." You responded before shushing everyone when your favorite part came up.
As the show went back on commercial, you fished out your phone (yes, I know demigods can't use phones, but let's pretend Leo Valdez figured out a way to do so). You decided to order Zim some of his new favorite food. You were hungry too and the ad for DoorDash popping up on the TV screen made you want food even more.
"Anyone want some Chipotle?" You ask as you scroll through the menu.
"Ooh ooh me!" Gir screeched. "I need tacos! I need them or I will explode. That happens sometimes."
At this point, you had grown accustomed to Gir and his weird, but adorable, way of asking for things. You order his tacos as requested, along with your food, and submitted the order. Dib and Gaz weren't hungry, saying they had just eaten before they came over.
Your boyfriend chose this time to return from his underground base. His magenta eyes scanned the room, not expecting to see two more people in the room. He stood in front of the TV to get everyone's attention. In sync, the four of you moved your head to the side to try to see the screen.
"You all will be happy to know-"
"SHHH!" Your small group hushed Zim as you tried to listen to what the main character was saying.
He growled in annoyance, stomping over to grab the remote and turn the show off. A collective groan of disproval echoed through the expansive room. Zim smile proudly and returned to the center of the room.
"As the Almighty Zim was saying, you will be happy to know that Zim has secured the final ally for our plan." He stands with his hands behind his back. "The Tallests are familiar with this group and they will provide a great distraction for us to intrude the Massive."
"Alright, I'll bite." Dib spoke. "Who is this ally?"
Zim smirked. "Dib-Stink, you should remember the day you and I tried to control the Irken fleet a few years ago. Unknown to us at this time, the Resisty were also trying to take control of the armada for taking over their home planets. Lard Nar since then has gotten a new ship and more members. They travel closely behind the armada as we speak, waiting for us to give the signal."
"Wait, they're already there? We haven't even gone out into space yet." You point out.
Zim nods his head. "Heh, the Resisty has been traveling close to the Massive for an Earth year now. They were too afraid and indecisive to act on their own. No doubt the Tallests haven't noticed them yet."
Gaz asked the question on everyone's minds. Well, everyone except for Gir. "How long until the idiots get here?"
"Computer!" Zim yelled for his device to answer the question.
"Eh, I don't know. Two Earth months?" Computer responded, bored. "Their flight path was already close to Earth. I told you this."
You smiled at how sassy Computer can get when he talks to Zim. The tone doesn't appear to phase Zim, who continues talking. "We shall leave out two weeks into the next month. We will meet the Massive and our allies in deep space and reclaim what is rightfully mine!"
Gir giggled. "My master gets to kill two more Tallests. You gonna use the Infinite Energy Absorbing Blob again?"
Zim glares at his minion. "How do you know about that?"
Gir giggles and reveals a large medal from his head. It read, "Gir, King of Earth." "The day I took over Earth while you were gone, I got a transmission feed from the Control Brains during your trial. I seen it aalllll."
Dib's eyes widened as he stared at the small robot. "Wait! That wasn't some freakish nightmare? Oh my goblins! I knew I wasn't crazy."
"That can be debated." Gaz scoffs.
You face palmed. It was no surprise why Zim was exiled in the first place. If he truly caused so much damage to Irk, it made sense why Red and Purple hated him so much. You could only hope that he has changed some since.
"Silence!" Zim shrieks. "We shall all meet up again soon. For now, everybody out of Zim's base!"
As he said this, a knock on the door silenced the Irkens. You opened the door slightly to see it was the food you ordered. Thanking the delivery guy- who looked a lot like the Bloaty's Pizza Hog worker- you closed the entrance and handed the bag to Zim. Dib and Gaz exited, arguing about the size of Dib's head again.
"Y/n ordered Zim more nachos?" He asked somewhat softly and surprised.
You nodded and rubbed Gir's metal head. "Yeah and some tacos for my little buddy." You grabbed your food from the bag. "I'll leave you to enjoy your nachos in peace."
You turned on your feet. Zim had a silent debate in his head as he watched you walk off. He put the bag of food on the couch and grabbed you by the arm. "Zim isn't sure if this is the right thing to do."
"What are you talking a-" He cut you off by kissing you. He was unsure of what to do at first, clearly not accustomed to such actions. You pressed your lips against his properly before pulling away.
"I see you've been doing your research on human interactions." You state.
He doesn't respond to your comment. Instead, he has other things in mind. "Zim would love if y/n ruled beside him. Earth and Irk can be united together under our rule and height."
You smiled at your boyfriend. "I may take you up on that offer."
