"Hey! Aiko!" Hotoki ran up to Aiko after school.

"Huh? Oh, hey Hotoki? What are you doing here?" Aiko asked, looking at the girl.

She was getting several stares, whether because of her third eye and skin condition or because of the fact that she was wearing the rival school's uniform. Hat and all.

"Nishi is busy so we have to hang out!" She grabbed Aiko's arm

"Oh... I'm sorry I should get to my house, the movers are coming back and I have to finish packing up-"

"Oh come on! It'll be fine, we can come back in time to pack up your house! Come on Aiko! Where do you want to go? I'll take you anywhere! I mean it! Please!" Hotoki grabbed Aiko's hand and tugged on it like a toddler.

"Alright! Alright fine!" Aiko gave in. "I guess I could use some fun today."

πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–

And she did have fun.

They jumped all around Japan, Though Aiko was sure Hotoki was just doing this to cheer her up. Not because she was bored and Nishi was busy.

"Hey, I think I should head back to the house. My mother might be heading there now and I need to be there to help her." Aiko said, checking the time nervously.

"Oh come on! You haven't even finished your drink yet!" Hotoki whined.

Aiko eyed the drink in front of her. "Hotoki, I really should-"

Hotoki's phone dinged and she checked it "Alright fineeeee." She relented, standing up with an eye roll.

Aiko briefly wondered what the text was. But she assumed it was just Nishi texting her telling her she was done with whatever she was busy with.

The two girls got up and walked to the door. "Bye Fuyumi!" Aiko waved to the barista as they were walking out.

"Bye Aiko! Bye Aiko's Friend! Have a nice day!" Fuyumi said, with a smile as she filled up a cup of coffee for her other customers.

"Come on, let's go catch a bus." Hotoki said with a smile.

"Wait, can we just use your-"

"I can't jump us everywhere! Plus I don't even know if using my quirk for that is legal." Hotoki just shrugged. "Come on, it won't take that long!"

Hotoki skipped ahead and hummed to herself, checking her phone every so often. The sun was starting to set as her house finally came into view and Aiko's heart raced with anxiety as she saw the moving truck pulling out of the driveway.

'Oh no, they left because I took too long. How long were they just sitting there?! I hope they'll still get paid for this.'

Aiko thought, fidgeting with her fingers nervously."Uh oh..." She mumbled out loud after the truck drove past them.

"Oh come on!" Hotoki grabbed Aiko's wrist and started running to her house. "I'm sure everything is just fine!"

Aiko huffed as she ran in Hotoki's tow. She didn't know how this girl was so energized all of the time. It was insane.

They got to the door and Hotoki slowly opened it before shoving Aiko inside with a giddy smile. Aiko stumbled a little and looked around her old home. That was now completely bare, there were no pictures on the walls, no table in the dining room and no pots in the kitchen.

It was all empty.

Well almost empty.

"Surprise~" Hotoki whispered in Aiko's ear as she turned to the living room where a group of teenagers sat on the floor.

"W-what are you guys doing here?" Aiko asked, it was all of her friends. Including Nishi. They seemed to be hanging out on the floor in some sort of a circle.

"Well..." Mina hopped up and Nishi followed. "Bakugou and Kirishima told us what happened... And that you guys had to move..." Mina said with a smile. "So... He had the idea to come over and help, because they said you and your mom didn't want to have to pack up your sister's room."

"So they looked me up on Insta and Dmed me, asking if I would help them." Nishi said, putting a hand on Aiko's shoulder.

"O-oh..." Aiko said, rubbing her eyes. "T-thanks guys that really... That really means a lot..." She sniffled. "You guys really didn't have to do this."

"We knew you would say that, so that's why I asked Hotoki to go out with you and make sure you had some fun while we packed up." Nishi said. "Because I knew you would stop us from doing something for you."

Aiko chuckled, holding back tears. It was definitely true, she would've spent the whole time feeling bad about them having to do something for her.

But this, this was really nice of them. Aiko had never expected she'd end up with friends, especially not any friends as great as them. Her friends from school wanted to do this so badly they contacted a complete stranger just to help Aiko.

"Wow... F-fuck now I'm crying." Aiko put her face in her hands and sniffled.

"That's okay!" Mina wrapped her arms around Aiko. "We wanted to do it." She said gently.

"Yeah, you shouldn't have to do something like that if you weren't ready for it." Denki agreed, getting up from the ground.

"Even my dad hasn't touched most of my mom's stuff. And she passed ten years ago." Nishi reminded Aiko.

"Yeah, we wanted to do this so you didn't have too. And so you didn't have to ask strangers to do it." Kirishima added.

"W-what- about my mom?" Aiko asked, rubbing her eyes. "Where is she?"

"Oh, I charged my dad with keeping her busy. They ended up unpacking your other boxes back at our place. Not as romantic as I would've hoped but still... It worked to keep her busy." Nishi said with a smile.

She nodded, feeling more years coming. "T-thanks guys... Thank you so much!" Aiko sobbed, hiding her face in Mina's hug.

"It was nothing, we all wanted to help. Though it was Bakugou's idea. I was ready to give up after you denied my first offer."
Kirishima said sheepishly.

Aiko looked up. "Bakugou?" She asked, the blonde guy looked away.

"Yeah what of it?" He asked gruffly.

Aiko pulled away from Mina for a moment and walked across the room pulling Bakugou in for a hug before he could object.

"Thank you Bakugou." Aiko said. After a few stiff seconds Bakugou hugged her back.

"Whatever... This was all my fault anyways."
He whispered quietly. "I... I guess I'm sorry for not being more careful, or whatever."

"It wasn't your fault, I wasn't safe here. I probably would've needed to move after the concert anyways." She whispered back.

He pulled away. "Whatever you say Raincloud."

Aiko smiled at him after stepping back.

Who knew Bakugou had a heart?

πŸ’–An hour earlierπŸ’–

"This feels kinda weird, you know? Going through a stranger's stuff like this."

Denki Kaminari said, packing up some old clothes from the closet.

"I think it's fun! I never met Tora but I feel like I know her a little better after this." Mina said as she moved a multitude of books from a shelf to a cardboard box.

"She wasn't kidding when she said they hadn't been in here for years." Jirou mumbled, holding up a dead houseplant. "Poor little guy."

"I'm pretty sure Aiko is the 'poor little guy' in this situation. The second I get home I'm gonna go hug my little sister." Denki said, grabbed a new box for the closest as he filled the old one. "You think we'll finish in time for Aiko to get back?"

"Well I told Hotoki not to let her come home until I text her, even if it meant she had to to kidnap her. So I'm pretty sure we'll have plenty of time." Nishi told them as she took the taped up art and pictures down from the blue walls.

"Wow, look at their dad." She said, showing Jirou.

The strangers had been getting along quite nicely. Nishi had a talent for being able to vibe with just about anyone.

"Wow, that guy is huge." Jirou said, taking the picture.

Aiko's dad had been pretty large. Like Vlad king or endeavor. Only he seemed much nicer. It was an old family photo with the mother, the two twins and their father. With a beautiful beach behind them.

Their father was much taller than their mother, in the picture in one arm he was holding up a twin and his other was wrapped around the mother of his children.

He had a warm smile on his face that looked proud of his family. Though his kids were only about four at the time.

"What happened with him anyway? He's not still in her life is he?" Denki asked, looking over the man's intimidating build through the picture.

"No he's not, he left them after Aiko developed a quirk and Tora didn't. He didn't say anything to them or their mom about it that I know of. So Aiko assumes it was just because he didn't want a quirkless child."
Nishi explained.

"What an asshole." Mina said and the others nodded in agreement.

Denki stared at the picture. Though he knew Aiko wouldn't lie. He couldn't imagine this kind looking man in the picture being such a jerk. But maybe he felt that way because he looked so much like Aiko.

"Is it offensive to ask... Like... What was his... ethnicity? He's obviously not japanese." Sero said, looking over Denki's shoulder.

"No, he's Hawaiian. Wow...  you guys really don't know much about Aiko's old life do you?" Nishi asked, pushing up her glasses.

"Well we just met her this year. It's not like we knew her growing up." Denki argued.

"Yeah neither did I? We met just a few months ago. I just ask a lot of questions." She shrugged.

"Wait really? Damn I kinda thought you guys were like... Childhood buddies or something." Kirishima said in shock.

"Well we weren't. In fact I'm pretty sure Aiko only had one 'childhood buddy' and we're currently packing up her room." Nishi said with a frown.

"It sounds really Fucking sad when you say it like that." Jirou said, sharing Nishi's frown.

"That's because it is really Fucking sad." Bakugou grumbled, taking apart the now empty desk that was beside the bed so they could pack up its parts easily.

"I didn't know you were so good with tools Bakubro! It's totally manly!" Kirishima said after the Moment of silence got too thick for his liking.

"Woah, what are these?" Denki asked, pulling an old shoe box from the top of the closet. He opened it and showed off several discs in clear square cases.

"They're DVDs you dumbass, they're totally retro." Jirou said, leaning over to look at them.

"I wonder if they have music on them or something." Jirou picked up a case and read the neat handwriting on the disc inside.

'Aiko and Tora's 9th birthday.'

"Looks like they're old home movies actually." Nishi said, picking up another.
"See 'Day on Punalu'u beach' with a date on it." She said, showing Jirou.

"That's cool." Mina said, picking up another one.

"Yeah, my family used to do that kinda stuff. But most of ours are digital." Kirishima said.

"My mom did them too, they're basically the only memories I have of her." Nishi said.

"Do you think Aiko would want to watch them then?" Denki asked Nishi.

Nishi shrugged. "It's hard to tell with this kinda stuff. She might love them, but they also might be really hard for her to look at. It's probably best to just pack them up and let her find them."

She said, touching a finger to her bottom lip.
"Though... I wonder if she'd mind me taking a look at them, it would be great for-"

Nishi stopped herself before she could say anything about a music video. Her creative flow almost cost them Aiko's secret.

Bakugou narrowed his eyes and interrupted her before she could screw up again.

"-How the hell would you even watch em? Everything is digital now." Bakugou snapped, giving her a look. He wasn't even sure if she knew, but he had a pretty strong feeling.

"Well if they have these they probably have a computer or a DVD player for them." Jirou said, looking over at the closet. "There's an old laptop in there, but it probably needs to be charged."

They were all curious but they felt like watching any would be even more of an invasion than just packing up her room.

"Oh well." Nishi said, gently placing the disc and its case back into the box. "I'll mention them to Aiko later, see what she thinks."

"We're are they moving to anyways?" Kirishima asked.

"Oh she didn't tell you guys?" Nishi asked, turning to them. "They're gonna be living at my place."

"Really? I thought they would move to a place with a lot of security?" Denki asked.

"Yeah, my house has tons of security. We have guards, cameras, electric gates, thick walls and around fifty acres of land." Nishi shrugged. "The whole package. She'll be safe there."

"Exactly how rich are you?!" Sero asked.

"Rich enough." Nishi Hummed with a secretive smile.

"What does your dad do?" Mina asked.

"He's a big CEO and owner of our family's company." Nishi said.

"Really? And what was your last name again?" Denki asked, hoping for a clue.

"I don't think that's any of your business, now is it?" She asked with a smirk.

"I guess not..." He whined.

"Now let's hurry up! We don't have that much left and we can totally knock this out in an hour!" Nishi ordered them around.

Like the little rich brat she was.
