~My POV~
It's been five days since my best friend went on the beatdown against Shadow while protecting Miwa, Sonic and April. I stayed up for five days and four nights. When the guys asked me to go patrolling, I refused. When Martin and Chris wanna go check the animals at Central Park Zoo, I refused. When the Möbians want me to join them for an important job, I refused. When Miah and Erika wanted me to hangout with them, I refused. When the rest want me to get away from my best friend for once, I still refused. I barely ate or drank or slept. I stayed by Waunu's side, hoping she can wake up. It's been five days and Waunu still hasn't woke up. I just wish she can tell me what happened and I can tell her what happened. When I was ready to fall asleep in my arms, I heard footsteps coming towards me. I looked up to see Martin with a plate of two slices of pizza. He set it next to my feet. "E.C, we're all been worried about you. You haven't ate anything or drink. Or sleep, you haven't let any of us watch her." Martin said. I looked back at Waunu with a sadden face. "I know, it's just she's my best friend and my only sister, that understands me ever since the 3rd quarter in middle school when we're seventh graders." I said before I pushed my glasses back. I sighed. "Anyway, thanks Martin. But till she wakes up, I have to stay near her at all cost." I said. "I understand. But we've been worried about your health, especially Leo and Raph. Both of them were definitely worried about you ever since you started to stay close to Waunu. And look at yourself. You're in a bad shape, your fatness is going slim but your skin is starting to show some bones. Think about it." Martin said before he walked away. I looked at my best friend, closed my eyes and started to remember the things and words we say to each other when we're down. I remember one time that Waunu was sad that we're about to be separate for summer vacation. I closed my eyes and remember the words I said to her. 'Waunu, I'm gonna miss you. Ohana means family, family means no body gets left behind or forgotten.' Then I heard shifting. I opened my eyes and glanced at Waunu, she flutter her eyes open, sat up and rub her head. "W-What happened?" She asked. I gasped and hugged her tight with happy tears flowing down. "Waunu, you're ok." I said. She tenses a bit, but calms down and hugs back with a warm smile. "E.C, I'm glad you're ok." She said. Then we departed the hug and smiles softly. Then her face frowned a bit. I noticed it. "Waunu, what's wrong?" I asked. "I-I have heard you were taking away from your parents since infant." She said. My eyes widen in shock. "W-Who told you that?" I asked. She glanced at me with a sadden face. "Shadow." She said, that made my heart burst into rage. I growled in pure rage. "When we find him, I'll give him something that he'll try to forget the day when he beat you up." I said then I calm down with a sadden face. I looked up and nods softly. "Yes. I . . . was taking away from my parents by relatives. They care and raised me like I'm the only precious thing in the world." I said in a broken voice, then I break down into tears. She saw that and hugged me. "Oh, E.C. I know something that can cheer you up. In a song." She said in a mother like tone. I sniffed my nose a bit. "L-Like what?" I asked. She smiled and strokes my hair. She cleared her throat. "It's a song, that you'll never forget. About spaces between us both." She said before she sang.
{Space Between By Dove Cameron and Sofia Carson from Descendants 2}

Waunu🔥: I didn't know what you were going through from the past
I thought that you were fine and let it all go
Why did you have to hide it all from your best friend?

Me🌊: I didn't want to let you down cause of my past
But the truth of my past is out, thanks to Shadow
It's tearing me apart, not listening to my heart or my mind
I really had to go

Waunu🔥: And I would never stop you

Me🌊: Even though it changes

Waunu🔥: Nothing has to change

Both🔥🌊: And you can find me in the space between
Where two worlds come to become one
I'll never be out of your reach
'Cause you're a part of me so you can find me in the space between
You'll never be alone
No matter where you go
We can meet in the space between

I sighed softly and looks down, only for my best friend placing her fingers under my chin and lifts me up to look into her eyes. I can see and sense she has pure sadness. "I don't know what to do." I said. "It's ok, we all learn the thing that happened to us, but we also learn that we need to cherish it." Waunu said. "How?" I asked. That when she pulled her fingers away from my chin and smiles softly.

Me🌊: And nothing can stay the same
It's growing pains and broken hearts

Waunu🔥: Be proud of all the scars and pains

They make you who you are (oh, woah)

Waunu🔥: I know you have to stay

Me🌊: But I'll never really leave you

Waunu🔥: Nothing has to change

Me🌊: Even though it changed

Both🔥🌊: And you can find me in the space between
Where two worlds come to become one
I'll never be out of your reach
'Cause you're a part of me so you can find me in the space between
You'll never be alone
No matter where you go
We can meet in the space between

I smile softly at what I'm thinking on, but must learn to control it. "Yeah, you're right. I can learn from the past and many more." I said. That made her smile and pushed her glasses. "So why are you thinking about your past?" She asked. I thought and we both sang.

Waunu🔥, Me🌊, Both🔥🌊: There are no words left to say
I know you gotta find your place
But this is not the end (no)
You're part of who I am
Even if we're worlds apart
You're still in my heart
It will always be you and me, yeah

Waunu🔥, Me🌊, Both🔥🌊: You can find me in the space between
Where two worlds come to become one
I'll never be out of your reach (I'll never be out of your reach, no)
'Cause you're a part of me so you can find me in the space between

You'll never be alone
No matter where you go
We can meet in the space between

Then we place our hands together and we knew that we were made for friendship and sisterhood for eternal time.

Waunu🔥, Me🌊, Both🔥🌊: Yeah, no matter where you go
No matter where you go
We can meet in the space between

We hugged each other then we departed, only to hear clapping and cheering. We glanced near the dojo to see the rest cheering for us. I felt embarrassed then I yawned softly. "Whoa, sounds like someone's very sleepy." Waunu said. "That's because E.C. stayed by your side, she barely ate, slept or drank." Chris said. "It's nothing, she's my ohana. And family or friends never leave each other's side." I said. Then I got up and stretches with a yawn. "Waunu, the pizza's yours. I'm gonna crash out. Night guys." I said before I walked away to the room I shared with Waunu now. We agreed to have our shared bedroom, so we slept together, in separate beds. I closed the door behind me.
~Waunu's POV~
When E.C. closed the door behind her, I picked up two slices of pizza and ate one. When I took a bite, I felt my whole body being covered. Then I looked around to see everybody hugged me. I smiled and hugged back. "I'm ok now. Thanks to E.C, I'm all better now." I said before we all departed and I kept eating it again. Then I thought of something that I'll never forget and I'll make sure E.C. knows this also.

'We are all ohana. Ohana is family.'
