(Don't worry this one is wholesome)
Waiting for 1:30 to arrive felt like years. The hospital room was really boring. The only things on TV were Christmas movies that we've all practically memorized, and are only really enjoyable with friends and family, and nothing really happened, aside from the occasional patient being an ass to the doctors.
But finally, the doctors removed the IVs, and told me Kevin was there to pick me up.
"Kevin!" I hugged him once I met him in the hallway. I was still getting used to only having one arm.
He laughed a little. "Hey, Strebs." He hugged me back.
"I'm so happy to see you! It was so boring here." I exclaimed.
Kevin smiled. I love his smile. It's always so soft and loving. Kinda like him.
"Come on. I already paid the hospital bill." He grabbed my remaining hand. "I brought some winter clothes, you should get changed."
"Alright, thanks, Kev!" I tried to grab the clothes with my now nonexistent hand.
"Oh my god, I'm sorry Streb!" Kevin smiled again, let go of my hand, and handed me the clothes. "There you go."
"Thanks, Kev!" I giggled a little before heading to the bathroom to change.

After I got into Kevin's car, Kevin looked a little anxious.
"You okay, Kev?" I asked.
"Yeah, I'm okay! Say, do you wanna head to the park before we go to my parents' house?" He asked.
"Sure!" I gave him a huge smile. I loved going to the park with him.
He had a huge smile on his face. The biggest smile I had ever seen on him.
~~~~~~~
We made it to the park, and we spent our time holding hands(with the only remaining hand I had) and walking. It was just as magical as our first date, 5 years ago.
I heard Kevin whisper to himself, "It's now or never, Kevin..."
He sighed. "Streber, I kind of wanted to talk to you about something..." his face was redder than a tomato.
"Okay, you can talk to me about anything, Kev!" I reassured him.
"Okay, here goes nothing..." he took a deep breath. "Streber, we've been together for...what, 5 years? Wow...it feels like just yesterday that I asked you out after that party..." he chuckled nervously.
I was a bit nervous now. Was he going to break up with me?
"These years have been magical, even if we had some of our lowest points together...you've always been there for me...so it's okay if you aren't ready, but..." he pulled something out of his pocket, got down on one knee, and opened a small box with a beautiful ring inside. "Would you make me the happiest guy to ever live and marry me?"
I was taken aback. I covered my mouth with my hand, a smile forming on my face. I pretty much tackled him in a hug. "Yes! Yes, of course I'll marry you!" Tears of joy were streaming down my face.
