We finally made it to Petalburg city after 2 hours. Why do I feel sad that Steven is leaving!? We just met him a few hours ago!

"So this is where we part ways I guess" I said with a disappointed look.

"Looks like it you three have a good journey I hope I'll get to see you three again" Steven said

"(y/n) the gyms closed looks like you're Dad going to sleep for the night looks like we'll have to spend the night here" Taylor told us.

"Oh well its still early tho I guess my Dad had a rough day at the gym, he must be asleep" I sighed.

"(y/n) by any chance is you're father Norman the gym leader?" Steven asked me.

"Yeah he is I was hoping to talk to him before he closed the gym for the night, but he's probably asleep" I told Steven.

"Looks like we're not parting ways quite yet the reason I was coming to Petalburg was to talk to you're father" Steven said.

"That's great Steven" I said slightly blushing

*Time Skip*

We were at the Pokémon center getting ready to go to sleep when we heard a huge explosion.

"What the hell!" I said.

"I don't know we should go check it out" Kyle said.

"Yeah let's go" Taylor agreed

"You three stay in here where it is safe I'll go see what's going on" Steven told us while putting his shirt and vest on. He didn't have any shirt on when he sat up witch made me blush.

"Make sure my dad is okay" I said with a worried expression.

"I will (Y/n)" Steven smiled looking into my (e/c) eyes.

Steven went outside to see what was happening we watched from the window of our room. We saw Steven walking towards the gym where the sound of the explosion was coming from. My eyes grew large when I saw the gym on fire, Kyle, and I ran outside to where Steven was as fast as we could. I couldn't just stay inside, I need to know if dad is okay! Kyle came with you with his Mudkip.

"DAD!!" I yelled tears starting to stream down my face, I was worried sick for my father

"Mudkip water gun out the fire!" Kyle said

"(y/n)! Kyle! get out of here you could get hurt!" Steven said

" There's no way I'm leaving until I know my Dad is okay!" I yelled at Steven

Another explosion went off in the gym, it blew Kyle, Steven, and I back. I opened my eyes, and saw Kyle holding on to his Mudkip luckily no injuries. Steven had a few cuts, but nothing serious. And I was physically okay, but mentally terrified for my father.

"DAD NO!" I shout, I started to run to the gym, trying to find a way in without thinking at all I found a small space, and tried to climb through it.

"(Y/n) stop! You'll get hurt!" Steven yelled, while he pulled me into his arms, as another explosion went off, knocking us unconscious.
