Your P.O.V

Most of the guys in our friend group would agree that the girls spend enough time away from them. I doubt that they actually care but Katelyn insists they hate it without us. No one really cares about this though, because instead of hanging out with them we are walking to the cafe for a 'girls' day'. 

Walking into the Cafe you get hit instantly with the noise of talking people and clanging cups. It then immediately gets better when you smell the mix of things that are being baked in the back. We sat at a large round booth, all piling in one by one.

"Since when does he work here." Nicole asked before she could even fully sit down. She narrowed her eyes at someone across the room. I looked over instantly, and so did everyone else.

The guy she was referring to had messy brownish reddish hair. He looked like he was on the shorter side but that might just be because I'm so use to being around Laurence and Garroth, who are both over six feet. He was wearing the cafe's uniform, which for the men that work there it's a black vest and black pants.

"His ass looks pretty good in those pants." Cadenza said, without any hesitation.

"Eww Cadenza." Lucinda laughed at the statement.

"Who's that?" I asked, feeling slightly left out.

"Zenix~Kun, he's a sophomore." Kawaii~Chan said.

"He's also bad news. He hangs around Gene." Katelyn said rolling her eyes.

"It's too bad, if he wasn't so stupid I'd so smack lips with him."

"Cad, he's not that cute." I laughed.

"Ok, miss I'm dating the prince Charming of the school." Cadenza said, she turned quickly to glare at me but it was obviously fake.

"What could you possibly find cute about him." Nicole asked smirking.

"Look, look at his ass, nobody in our school has a better ass then him. " Cadenza said pointing as he walked away but then pulled her hand back in fear of someone seeing. She didn't sound like she really though about what she was going to say, she just needed something to say.

"Garroth has a pretty nice ass." I said smirking at the girls infront of me.

"He does, I think it's a baseball thing. Have you ever just glanced down while walking behind Jaxson." Katelyn smirked back.

"You guys are disgusting. What do you all want?" Lucinda asked, she stood and motioned towards the counter she was ready to walk towards.

"Just pick us something." Katelyn said, answering for everyone at the same time.

"So Cadenza~Chan would really date Zenix~Kun?" Kawaii~Chan asked.

"Mmm probably not, he might be cute but he's a jerk. Laurence would murder him, and then me. Cadenza said.

"Oh yeah," Katelyn smirked and I could already tell what she was about to say, "how's that going Lucinda?"

"There's absolutely nothing going." Lucinda said as she sat back down.

"I bet, if you just told him you like him he'd date you." Cadenza said.

"I don't want him to date me because just I like him, I want him to date me because he likes me." Lucinda said rolling her eyes.

"If you sleep with him he'll be all over you." Katelyn said smirking. My mouth fell open a little in surprise.

"Katelyn~Chan!" Kawaii~Chan said just as surprised as me.

"She isn't wrong." Cadenza said shrugging.

"He isn't Dan-." Nicole started but she stopped when her smoothie was placed in front of her. We all glanced up towards the server, Zenix, who was setting some of our things down. He placed Katelyn's down I front of her and then mine infront of me.

"I'll be right back." He said, his voice was raspy and yet somewhat high pitched for a guy. He stepped away quickly and disappeared to go get the rest of the smoothies.

"What's that." Katelyn asked. I looked over at her slightly confused, but then back down at my drink when I realized that's what she was motioning to.

On the top of my drink layed a napkin, it made no sense whatsoever and only covered my cup. I picked it up and flipped it over in my hand. I rolled my eyes as I looked at it.

"It's his number." I said.

"I want it." Cadenza gasped reaching for it. I handed it to her as she grabbed eagerly at air. I grabbed a new napkin and pulled it over to me.

"Does anyone have a pen?" I asked, knowing that someone in the group must

"Kawaii~Chan does!" Kawaii~Chan said, instantly digging in her bag and handing me a pen. I placed ink to the napkin quickly.

"What are you writing?" Lucinda asked.

"I- have- a- boy- friend-" I said slowly as I wrote it out.

"It's really weird he would hit on you." Nicole said.

"Why?" I asked, still looking down at the napkin.

"He knows you're with Garroth." Nicole said.

"And, he knows Garroth could beat his ass." Katelyn said.

"Gene's probably making him do it. I mean come on do you think Zenix would really want to work here." Lucinda said.

"I bet Lucinda~Chan is right." Kawaii~Chan said.

Zenix came back and we all got silent quickly. He set down everyone else's cups slowly, for some reason in much less of a hurry. I held out the napkin to him without looking at him. He took it after he set everything down and then walked away without saying a work.

"Would you date him if you weren't with Garroth?" Cadenza asked.

"I don't even know him." I said raising an eye brow at her.

"Apparently you like guys with nice butts so there's a reason." Cadenza said.

"I did not say that." I half laughed.

"Well, I see it." Cadenza said a little too proud of herself.

"Me and Zenix or me and guys with nice butts?" I asked.

"Both." Cadenza shrugged.

The next time Zenix walked by our table he reached over the table and dropped another napkin. He did it so noticeable it almost would have been more secretive if he had stopped and just told me. I flipped the note over.

"He doesn't need to know." I read aloud.

"Ew," Nicole laughed, "he wants in your pants."

"Write another one." Cadenza said eagerly.

"Absolutely not, I don't wanna be apart of what ever this is." I said setting down the napkin.

I glanced over the top of my computer seeing our teacher taking some papers and starting to walk out of the room. Everyone else noticed this aswell because people instantly started whispering.

"Garroth help me." I said putting my hands on his arm and pulling until her was forced to lean towards me.

"First off, you're supposed to be the smart one, not me. That's not how it works." Garroth said. He removed my grip from him and put his arm around the back of my chair.

"I'm serious," I half laughed, "I need help."

Garroth pushed his head against my shoulder as he 'helped' me. He actually told me the answers but, that's what everyone else in the class was doing . He moved his head when we got to the same question he was on. His hair spiked up a bit from being pushed around. I smirked and reached out to run my fingers through his har and fix it.

I left the locker room with Ellie, leaving Katelyn behind because of how long she was taking. Ellie started in another direction within seconds and I walked next to Garroth, who waited for me. He took my hand pulling me so my side hit against his side violently.

"What?" I half laughed as I looked up at him.

"I'm tryna hold your hand." Garroth said looking down at me accusingly.

"Ok," I laughed, "you don't need to tackle me for it."

"You think that was a tackle?" Garroth questioned raising an eyebrow.

"It was abuse or something." I said, I  pushed Garroth's arm into his own side.

"I think you're abusing me." Garroth said still holding onto my hand tight so I wouldn't let go.

I pulled his hand so he would follow me to the side if the hallway where my locker was. I pushed Garroth's hand away for a minute so I could unlock my locker. He leaned against the locker next to mine, making my nose crinkle as I remembered that that's what Gene had done the first time I met him

"So tomorrow, my parents are gonna be gone-"

"And you're throwing a party?" I asked, I turned towards him dramatically half expecting him to tell me I was wrong.

"I'm allowed to have friends over," He said holding his hands up defensively, 'and it's only a few people. So no, I'm not throwing a party."

"I'm kidding," I said, throwing my math book in my locker and shutting it, "I'll come."

I walked to Garroth's house with Katelyn only because it was a nice day. We easily could have drove but walking seemed way more fun.

Katelyn skipped up his front steps and knocked on the door, I slowly walked up. I was right behind her walking up the last step as she hit her fist against the door a few times. From outside we could clearly hear Laurence yell.

"COME IN."

Katelyn looked back at me and gave me her usual 'he's an idiot' look. Katelyn opened the door regardless and we stepped through.

"Laurence this is my house." Garroth said slightly confused as we walked through the door.

"Eh I pretty much live here." Laurence said from the couch.

I wrapped my arms around Garroth's waist, he was standing probably ready to answer the door but never got the chance to. Looking around the room you could see Cadenza and Lucinda who most likely came together, and Dante, Travis, and Laurence who were here last night.

Everyone sat in a circle in the floor. The cardboard square with monopoly written across the middle sat in front of us all. The only person into the game was Dante because if how much he was winning by. But of coarse the only reason he's winning is because of everyone else's lack of interest in the game.

"Can we do something else." Cadenza asked, the least enthusiastic I've ever seen her.

"We should do, 20 minutes, in heaven." Dante said, he seemed almost serious.

"First of all it 7 minutes, and your not having sex in my closet." Garroth said rolling his eyes.

"I'm down." Laurence said his lips curving into a smile. Garroth slapped him in the stomach with a smack.

"I mean I'll do it." Lucinda said only halfway sure with herself.

"Y/N break the tie go!" Cadenza said as fast as she could.

"What, why me."

"Or we could just tell each other's secrets," Katelyn said looking into my eyes. "Y/N thinks Garroth has a nice ass."

"Fine play the stupid game who cares I never said that." I said almost as fast as Cadenza.

"Katelyn goes first." Katelyn said standing up and pulling Travis's ear and telling him to get up. Travis started walking towards the stair case but Garroth slapped at the couch getting his attention.

"Use that one." Garroth said pointing to a door that stood right next to where two walls meet.

"Why what're you hiding in your closet." Cadenza joked.

"Nothing." Garroth said raising an eyebrow.

"Our love making chamber." Laurence said leaning in for a kiss.

"Get away from me." Garroth said pushing Laurence away from him.

Katelyn and Travis came back but ended up going again because going clockwise it was Travis's turn next. Then Dante who locked eyes with Laurence before he chose Cadenza. I looked at Garroth who didn't return eye contact with me because he was looking at Laurence.

"So, you just gonna sit there?" Travis asked. Laurence glared at Travis but didn't say anything.

Then Cadenza who chose Lucinda went, they both came back giggling. Then Lucinda choose Laurence, which wasn't a surprise to Katelyn, Cadenza, or I but was probably a surprise to the guys.

"Lucinda likes Laurance." Katelyn blurted as soon as the door to the closet had been shut.

"Katelyn!" Cadenza said surprised.

"Oh whatever they were gonna find out eventually." Katelyn said.

"What when they have sex in Garroth's closet." Dante said smirking.

"Oh god I really hope not." Garroth mumbled.

That's essentially what 7 minutes in heaven is right. Two drunken teenagers having sex in a dark closet. But Garroth didn't want to do it from the beginning, so that's not what he wants, right? Right?

Laurance and Lucinda came back talking quietly so none of us would hear them. I hit Katelyn on the arm telling her to come with me. We sat in silence for what felt like the whole 7 minutes but must have only been about five.

"Why didn't you pick Garroth." Katelyn asked as she laid on the floor.

"I don't know." I shrugged.

We left the closet but I never got the chance to sit down because Garroth spun me around and walked back with me.

"Are you mad at me." Garroth asked as he closed the door and flipped on a light switch that I'm sure no one else knew was there.

"No why would I be mad at you?" I asked.

"I don't know, I just thought you'd pick me." Garroth said sitting down across from me.

"Well I just- I-"

"Can't come up with an excuse," Garroth smirked at me, "it's fine."

I know this chapter took SUPER long to get out and I apologize. I did try to make this one a little bit longer to make up for it though.
