Beep! Beep! Beep! Thwack!

(Y/N): Whoops....

Looking at the damage that had been done, to be more precise, you destroyed your alarm clock with an instinctive throw of a kunai. Blinking at the accidental kunai, you sighed as you climbed out of bed and pulled out the throwing weapon from the wall, letting the broken alarm clock fall to the ground. You stared at the broken clock for a little bit, you beg an to ponder as to why you have reacted the way you did.

(Y/N): Haven't been like this since I've started that mission...

Perhaps the past week with the former goddess opening up to you has made you fell more relaxed since you weren't bored with standing around the whole day. You picked up the pieces of the broken clock and placed it back onto your nightstand to deal with it when you return.

You nearly spent an hour getting ready for the day and you left your house after having yourself some breakfast. 

The usual sight of the near empty streets greeted your eyes as you walked the usual route towards Kaguya's home. It was a normal routine for you since you were expected to arrive very early, although in the middle of your trek,  you took a second to stop in front of a shop.

Amaguriama is barely opening up for the day so hopefully it wouldn't be too much trouble for you to make a quick order. You had some time to spare since you left a bit earlier than usual.

5 Minutes later

Genma: You seem a little different today.

Arriving at the small house,  you gave your uncle a questioning look.

(Y/N): How so?

Genma: No bags under your eyes this time, also...

He looked down to find a small box of sweets, he grinned as he realized why you had them.

Genma: Heh, never took you for that kind of guy.

As much of a highly trained ninja you were, a nervous blush escaped making the older ninja chuckle at your embarrassment.

(Y/N): Don't tell anyone about this...

Genma: Whatever you say , kiddo.

The fellow ninja left grinning with the senbon still clinging to his teeth, hopefully he wouldn't speak a word this. You sighed before undoing the seals and unlocking the door.

Entering the home and properly locking the door, you find Kaguya meditating once again at her usual spot. You felt your heart skip a beat as you looked upon her peaceful face as she kept her eyes closed even after hearing you enter.

Kaguya: Welcome back.

Your heart skipped a beat once as in upon hearing her soft voice,  especially when you have brought something for her. You were supposed to be a highly skilled ninja but you were nearly beginning to lose your composure just being around the white haired beauty.

(Y/N): I-I brought you something that you might enjoy.

The pale woman slowly opened her eyes and turned her to head to see you holding a hand sized box with a sweet smell radiating from it. You placed the small container on the small table where she knelt in front of and watched as she opened it to reveal three sets of dangos.

She grabbed the end from one of them and took a bite of the first dumpling at was at the top. You let out a slight chuckle as her eyes widened from the delicious taste of the dessert, almost as if you had seen her make an actual expression.

(Y/N): You never had a dango before?

She slowly finished the rest of the dumplings on the first stick, savoring the sweet flavor before shaking her head.

Kaguya: I have not, this is the first time I've eaten something like this. I thank you for bringing me this.

(Y/N): Your welcome, I uh-

You stopped when the former goddess held one of the extra set of dangos towards you, the cold gaze she used to give off was now a soft look in her eyes. It was not everyday that your former enemy is now offering a tasty treat that you had brought for her. You let a soft smile as you accepted the offer, there was slight contact with each other's hands that made you feel nervous but you could've sworn that you had seen her cheeks slightly blush but she looked away in time.

After a few minutes of silently enjoying the delicious treat,  you placed the stick in the box along with her doing the same and you grabbed the box to properly dispose of it. Once that was done, you moved to your usual spot and began your daily routine of keeping watch.

After an hour of keeping guard while the white haired princess spent most of the time reading a book to pass the time,  she decided to ask the usual request.

Kaguya:  May we go for a walk?

Ever since the Hokage allowed her to roam the village, she has been politely asking to leave her home to simply explore what the village had to offer as well as relax in a few spots of nature. You released the seals as usual and allowed for her to exit first. Once you have properly closed the door, she took the lead per usual as you walked alongside her.

Meanwhile in the Hokage's Office

Kakashi: *sigh* Just another day on the job I guess.

The silver haired Hokage sat in his desk with a stack of paperwork laying on the table, especially since the chunin exams are drawing close so this much work is merely child's play. Taking a small break for himself, he stood up from his seat and looked out of the window behind him.

Shizune: O-oh! Lord Kakashi!

Kakashi: Please drop the lord...

Shizune: R-right, sorry.

Kakashi:  Don't mind me at the moment. Just taking a quick break before I get back to it. Hm?

The black haired woman was confused when she heard the questionin hum from the Hokage, she then moved near him to find what he was looking at. There was nothing out of the ordinary until she noticed you and Kaguya walking out of her home. As the two of you walked, Shizune began to notice that the white haired woman was a little close to you.

Kakashi:  Quite an odd sight, don't you think?

Shizune: A-are you sure it was good call to allow her to roam around the village like that?

The Hokage gave a smile under his mask knowing that he has heard questions similar to the one that she was asking.

Kakashi: We'll find out once this month is finished. Naruto informed that he sensed no negativity from her when we first discovered her,  although it seemed a bit odd when (Y/N) first informed that she tried to kill him at first. It must be expected since we've had to take precautions in case it was all a trick. Either way, she seems to be growing attached to (Y/N) since she's walking a little closer to him that usual or it could be my imagination.

Shizune: What if she is growing fond of him.

Kakashi: The she will have the chance to visit him as she wishes once the month is over.

The assistant turned to the Hokage with one of her nervous looks.

Shizuka: Eeeh?! Y-you don't mean -

Kakasi: As i said, we'll find out once the month is over. We wouldn't want her to feel trapped in her own home with someone constantly keeping watch over her. She may have been our enemy but it's not right to keep a person on a leash.

Just as two of you have left their line of sight, the Hokage gave out a small sigh before getting back to work.
