"WAH!!!"

You were thrown inside a large wooden cage. Leona slammed the door and locked it with his key. He twirled it around his finger and gave you a smirk.

"Life's not fair, {Y/N}. Like how I'll never be king, YOU will never see the light of another day. Get used to prison life. Hahaha!"

Leona turned and walked off. You got up and screamed at him.

"LET ME OUT, YOU ROTTEN, CHEATING SCOUNDREL!! WHEN TSUNOTARO HEARS ABOUT THIS YOU'LL BE SORRY!!!"

Leona slammed the door, making the table shake and you fall onto your knees. You furiously tugged at the bars, but they wouldn't budge. You hammered your fists at the door and fell to the ground. You angrily punched the ground, hot tears streaming down your face.

"Damnit!! DAMNIT DAMNIT DAMNIT DAMNIT!! Why me?! Why?!"

You buried your face into your hands, sobbing. Why was this happening? What cruel punishment was this?

After your yelling, you felt fatigued. You rolled onto your side and laid down. The wooden floor of the cage was freezing cold. You shivered and turned on your back. Bright stars shone outside the tiny window in the roof. You remembered something Tsunotaro told you one night.

"Wherever you go, whether here or far from the world, know that the stars will always shine with you in their memories."

You cried again. You missed him dearly, along with the rest of your friends. "Why... me..."

"{Y/N}!!!!"

You got up with a start. Someone had called for you from outside the door.

"H-hello?!"

Heavy thudding pounded the door. The cage began shaking, and you backed away. You brought your hands to your face and covered your mouth.

BOOM!

"{Y/N}! Where are you- {Y/N}!"

You looked up at whoever was standing in the door and gasped. "Jack?! JACK!!! OVER HERE!!"

Jack moved towards the table and bent down to look at you in the eyes. "Are you ok?"

You nodded. "Please, get me outta here!"

He nodded and grabbed the bars of the cage. With a grunt he broke them apart and let you step outside.

"I've been so worried, {Y/N}. I heard all this talk about a "tiny herbivore", and I thought that you'd be in the dorm somewhere. Saw two guards blockin' the door, so I distracted em and came to get ya."

You were so happy to see him. You burst into tears and hugged him on the nose.

"J-Jack! I'm s-so happy! I-I thought I'd b-be stuck forever!"

Jack rolled his eyes and looked away. "S-stop cryin', {Y/N}. Anyways, I'm gonna take you to get help, so just... sit tight."

Jack grabbed you and carried you out the door. You were finally free. The first thing you did, though, was go to sleep. You had such an awful day that all you wanted to do was go to bed and never wake up.

"{Y/N}, did Leona-senpai hurt you- {Y/N}?" Jack realized you had fallen asleep. He looked down at you and gave a small smile.

"Alright, {Y/N}. Rest easy. We'll find help once you're all better."

Jack set you down on his bed and readied himself to go to sleep. He picked you up, laid down, and brought his tail up. He set you down in front of him and gently rested his tail over you.

Even though you didn't know what had covered you, you sleepily grabbed it and hugged it. Jack couldn't help but smile at you. With that, he covered himself with the quilt and went off to sleep.

Zzz... zzz... zzz...

"{Y/N}... wake up."

You were gently stirred awake. You yawned and rubbed your eyes. You slept so well last night, you couldn't believe it. You pushed whatever was on you off and looked up.

"Jack... good morning..."

"Mornin' {Y/N}. Sleep good?"

You nodded. "Thank you, Jack-kun. Can I go get food?"

"Yea, I was just about to take you. C'mon, let's go."

You nodded and got into his hand, sitting down. Jack looked around the dorm and carefully made his way to the magic mirror.

The cafeteria was filled with students. You felt a bit nervous; you hoped no one else would notice you.

"Hmm?"

Two figures looked to the side. They saw you sitting on Jack's hand as he walked to the first year table.

"Look, Floyd."

The figure who spoke pointed at you.

"Ooh, a mini little shrimp! Jade, can we keep them?"

Jade laughed. "Why, of course. And I'm sure having a tiny prefect shall work very nicely for Azul's business."

"Ok! This looks like it's gonna be fun!" Floyd said, smiling. He and Jade laughed creepily, their golden eyes shining like forbidden jewels.

"Yo, Jack! Over here!"

Jack made his way over to the table where Ace and Deuce were sitting. He sat down and put you on the table.

"Ace! Deuce! What's up?" You asked.

"These damn collars... This sucks! I hate this!" Ace shouted.

"Agreed," Deuce said. Both boys sighed. "But I'm glad to see you're doing well, Prefect."

You smiled at him. "Sorry, guys. I woulda handed myself in if I had known he'd come after me. Leona-san captured me last night! Jack-kun came to save me; if it weren't for him, I dunno what would've happened!"

"Eh, really?" Ace and Deuce smirked. "Jack-kun, you really DO care for the prefect!"

"N-no!" Jack protested, sweating. "I just... felt bad."

You three began laughing. You could finally rest easy for a while. Your friends were finally around, and they'd take good care of you.

Right?

Oh, how wrong you were.

A dark shadow covered the table, and something cupped over you. You screamed, and the boys jumped out their seats.

"AHA! Caught you little shrimp~!"

"HEY! Let em go you asshole!" Ace yelled.

"Shut up before I squeeze you," someone said.

"Do not fret, everyone. {Y/N}-san is well within our care," another voice replied.

"Grrr... I didn't give ya freaks the right to take em! Hand em over!" Jack growled.

"Freaks? Jade, you heard that? Freaks!" The person holding you laughed.

"The Leech twins!" you said. "HELP!!! HELP ME!!" You shrieked.
"PLEASE!!"

"Quiet, little shrimp! C'mon Jade, let's go see Azul," Floyd said.

"Of course, Floyd," Jade answered. "We shall take excellent care of them. Do not worry. Have a wonderful rest of your day."

"NO! BRING THEM BACK!!" Deuce shouted. He got up to follow, but Ace held him back. "Don't! We'll get in even more trouble with the Housewarden!"

You shrunk into a ball from fear. You were captured again, and this time, no one could save you.
