"Hmm?"

In the school, several people had been wandering around looking for something. One of them stopped when they saw the other.

"Oh? Kingscholar... what are you doing outside your dorm?" Riddle asked. He and Leona had crossed paths in NRC. Leona scoffed and turned.

"Nothin'. Just looking for someone."

"Ah, it would seem we'd have the same issue."

Azul walked forward from the room he was in. He wore a clearly fake pleasant smile. He was obviously annoyed.

"You too? Who're you lookin' for, ya cephalopunk?" Leona asked.

"My my, how crude. But alas, I am currently searching for {Y/N}."

"Oh? I am as well," Riddle said, folding his arms.

"The herbivore's on your guy's' mind too? What'd they do to you?" Leona asked.

"{Y/N} has broken the rules. I'm simply looking for them to catch and reprimand them," Riddle said.

"Heh. Like that coulda happened without you blowin' a fuse. I'm only lookin' for 'em cause they stepped on my tail towards the start of the year. It's my chance to get revenge. Nobody's gonna get away with interrupting me an' my naps," Leona said.

"{Y/N}-san was supposed to sign a contract with me. Unfortunately, due to Jade and Floyd's incompetence, they managed to escape. And I was being oh so generous as well! How could they ever refuse?"

"Well, I guess we have a common goal here; to find {Y/N}-san," Riddle said. "Perhaps you have an idea as to where to find them?"

Azul looked at his pocket and pulled out his cellphone. He opened it and went to MagiCam, scrolling for a moment before smirking.

"Bingo. Look here."

Leona looked over Azul's shoulder while Riddle stood on his tippy toes to get a better look.

"Pomefiore," they said together.

"Guess I'm heading there," Leona said, flicking his tail.

"You, alone? Why, let us tag along! We all have a similar situation; we can apprehend {Y/N}-san together."

Riddle nodded. "Very well. I suppose we are off to Pomefiore."

Leona growled but reluctantly followed. "Whatever. Stay outta my way."

Creak...

While you were busy crying into your arms, the door to Vil's room turned open. You stopped and looked out the keyhole and saw a small figure enter.

"{Y/N}? Are you in here?"

A gentle voice called for you. You stood up.

"Hello?! Is someone here?! Please let me out!!"

Gentle footsteps, followed by the jingling of a key. The box was unlocked and slowly opened.

You looked up to see big blue eyes like a lake. Lavender hair covered a small face, like hanging orchids.

"{Y/N}, are you ok?" The unfamiliar boy asked. He took you out the box, setting you down on the table.

"I am... but who are you?" You asked.

"I'm Epel. Epel Felmier. I came to get you out after seeing Vil-san's MagiCam post. I know what it's like being forced into makeup sessions with him. C'mon, I'm getting you outta here."

You stepped into Epel's hand and sat down. Epel locked the box again and set the key back where he found it. He looked behind him, did a double take, and quickly left.

"Epel-kun, has anyone in Pomefiore made a shrinking potion recently?" You questioned.

He thought for a moment. "Not that I know of. I remember some first years from Iginhyde making one, though."

"Iginhyde?" You heard rumors about their dorm; they were kids who studied non-magical technology. Most were shut ins, especially their Housewarden.

"I need to hurry and get there. Can you please take me? Your dorm head was of no help."

"I wasn't, was I?"

Epel turned. You gasped. "Vil-senpai!" you shouted.

"Epel, what do you think you're doing? Put them back this instant," Vil said in a commanding tone.

Epel stood his ground. "N-no! I won't let them be forced to play dress up with you!"

"Epel," Vil said. "You do realize that resisting won't help you in this situation. Give them to me or I'll take them by force."

"I. Won't."

Vil glared at him, but he began to laugh. "Very well. Rook, please take care of them for me."

Another figure appeared behind Vil. "Of course, Beautiful Vil. I do enjoy a good game of chase. Let the hunt begin."

Epel turned and took off down the hall. Rook laughed and gave chase.

"I can't... outrun him... long!" Epel panted.

"You have to! Please!" You protested.

"Even if I could... you'd still be found... almost immediately!"

"HALT! BY ORDER OF THE QUEEN!!"

A frightening and familiar voice thundered above them. Epel skidded to a stop when someone moved out from the hallway.

"Riddle?!" You asked loudly. "What're you doing here in Pomefiore?!"

"To get you, of course," Riddle answered. He raised his staff and yelled, "OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!"

Epel ducked and rolled into the hall next to you both. The collar instead hit Rook, who yelled and crashed into Riddle.

"Holy crap! That was close!" Epel shouted.

"We're not out of the woods yet!"

ROAR!!!!

A lion's roar echoed down the hall. You both turned to see Leona running at you at top speed, fangs bared and hands outstretched.

"LOOK OUT!!" You yelled. Epel ducked as Leona went to lunge at you both. The lion prince rolled aside and wiped his mouth.

"Heh... don't try ya luck, kid. Hand the herbivore over now."

Epel shook his head. "No! I won't do it!"

"Then maybe we'll just have to make you!"

You turned, frightened for your life. "The Leech Twins!! Azul!"

Azul, Jade, and Floyd blocked the front door. The twins looked like they wanted to strangle you. Epel skidded to a stop and turned.

"THEY'RE GETTING AWAY! AFTER THEM!!" Riddle barked. Leona, Azul, the twins, Riddle, Vil, and Rook followed Epel and you around the dorm.

"Damnit... they're all coming after me! What do I do?!" You asked in desperation.

Epel looked at the window in the room he ended up in and kicked it. He kept kicking it until it shattered. He leapt out and carried you to the mirror. He hopped through and quickly ran into the mirror.

Epel landed inside the Mirror Chamber and stopped to catch his breath. The mirror began to ripple, as though a great force were trying to get through. Epel sighed and looked at you.

"I'm sorry, {Y/N}, but I gotta throw you!"

"What?!" you yelled. "But Epel-kun-!"

"You can't waste time! I'll be ok; I can stall them. In the meantime, I hope wherever you land, you'll be safe. Promise you'll come back when this all blows over."

With tears in your eyes, you nodded. "Ok... Epel-kun! I promise!"

Epel hugged you, and in that moment he launched you into a mirror. He gave you one last smile before he was tackled to the floor.
